I've never played an auto level or even heard of them until tonight, but I can already guess that these levels are more to challenge the level-maker than the person pressing Start to watch the obstacles guide Mario to the goal. The precise timing and placement of objects in these levels in order to make them work (and almost ensure a loss if the player touches any buttons) is astounding. Kudos to people who put the effort into making these!
