    This also happens to bodies you looted, for example, placing your items in a human npc, to avoid being overencumbered; lose sight of the body for around 2-3 in-game days and return to their location (praying for them not to dissapear) and they'll equip the armor piece

    • @TrappedInFallout
      @TrappedInFallout  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had no idea. If true then you can do this to NPCs that might have accidentally got knocked out. Sadly I do think they bodies will be removed by the game but it's still worth checking. It also begs the question, if an NPC is dead, why not allow to loot their body without having to use the trick. Oh well, thanks anyway for sharing that. If it's true then it is actually something I did not know.

If you want to die inside try stealing maria off bennie without killing him and watch how 100 stealth with a stealth boy does not really make much of a difference when it comes to pick pocketing unique gear. took me close to 100 tries thanks to my bad rng. This is great but does this work with all NPC's? I tried with Hardin after making him the elder of the BOS but after leaving and loading he didn't change to the one I gave him. Which is weird because I did the exact same with McNamara before he got removed and it worked with him.

    • @TrappedInFallout
      @TrappedInFallout  ปีที่แล้ว

      This glitch is dependent on an NPCs items, kit etc. In theory it should but I don't think it will. For instance some NPCs might have hard coded items that can not be stolen/equipped by the player etc.

    • @szelgorcs
      @szelgorcs ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TrappedInFallout The thing is that the Brotherhood elder's robes can be stolen, I did from McNamara. But I can't from Hardin. What I'm thinking is that maybe Hardin even after changing clothes still goes as if he's wearing the power armor instead of the elder's robe so that I'd have to give him something with higher DT than the power armor not the elder's robe.
