Quality video for a channel this small, props to you.
I know it's just a silly experiement but still I think the final result doesn't give much outlook on this as
a) ai tends to spend the money in the dumbest ways possible
b) youth facilities will only benefit the club so well in countries that have high value of this in-game built national youth recruitment level thingy
So I think usually if you rerun this in a country with poor youth score it might not turn out so clear. Also if it's an actual experienced fm player getting to spend the billion $ and not the ai, you just play free transfers like people usually do, spend part of the money to max out facilities if it's worth it (depending on country again) and once you reach decent club reputation you can start spending big like a bozo or just invest in wonderkids.

Yeah I noticed that the AI just spend the money on wages rather than players but I also think that the clubs reputation plays a massive part in that. I will run the experiment again in the future with poor youth and see the results that way.

Try doing this but give the billionaires a boost in popularity to mimic how it would be if a billionaire bought them

You say you don't know what transfers are already made for Oldham but ya do, it's in the clubs future transfer section if you navigate through the club transfers drop-down and select accordingly. Also for Oldham to use the money from the off you need to boost their Rep.
Additionally this exp has been overly used so try putting a spin on it like using the editor to race clubs from different leagues to win European silverware

The thing with money at the lower levels is the clubs are still unheard of
So noone wants to go there
Theres no feature to Offer Ronaldo A Boat load of cash to come and play in a league beneath him for a year
Only in the real world
