Thanks for posting this video. My lock just broke on my 1970 Avion and I took it apart to find the bolt had broken on what sounds like is the Bargman L-200. Can’t wait to call you in the morning for a machined replacement

Thank you for this videos. Any plans on making a video of the KT lock used in 1970's Airstreams, I'm about to purchase one from your website.
By the way you have an incredible amount of knowledge, we would love to see more videos. Thanks.

This is a very good video on these locks. I have the L-66 unit. They are hard to find, even used. I have rebuilt mine as best I can, with the new latch bolt and the cylinder lock. When they are found, they are often very pitted, as mine is. I do hope someone will re-produce them.
Thank you for putting out this information.

I just bought an old 70s RV it has the bargemon l66 but it says made in China and it's got a lot of broken parts someone broke into the RV and busted it where can I get the parts I need to fix it and the key cylinder. Or what are they replacing them with a really don't want to cut my hole bigger what do they make that fits in the same 7 x 2 hole

Thanks for putting this video on the line. Are there any updates with replacements for the L77 lock set? I have a 1960 tradewind and I'm struggling to find a solution.

Thanks Donald. We're working on a reproduction of the L-66 now. No specific timeline yet, but it is on the front burner.

I have the Bargman L-100/L-200 lock, it's from a 1967 Forester, cub. This is the one with the short latch bolt, a lever style handle on the inside (stamped L-200-5), & a serrated grip knob on the outside (stamped L-100-2).. The camper didn't come with a key when I bought it. Is there a way to remove the cylinder plug so I can replace it. I took the knob off the lock, & can not find a way to remove the cylinder from the knob. I'm trying to be careful not to damage it in the process, since these things are selling up to $1300.00 on eBay! If it can't be removed, I was thinking about trying to impression a new key. I have done this with a pin tumbler lock before, but im not even sure what type of lock this is. Maybe a wafer lock? I'd appreciate any info, references, or ideas.

Unfortunately, Brian, we do not have anything for the L-77 yet other than the cylinders and keys. Give us a call at 800-644-4620 and ask for Steve. He can help you think through options.
