40 years ago I wanted to do an afternoon tea with neighbors. However, I believe they would not have understood the concept or appreciated any of the work that went into the preparation. Yours is just beautiful.
Now this is a tea party fit for a queen. It's absolutely gorgeous and I LOVE all of the colors and flavors you used in the sandwiches. I'm so happy when I see radishes because they're so crips, juicy, and flavorful. Definitely one of the most underrated veggies out there. I know how much work goes into throwing a tea party so that box cake mix using better ingredients + picking up pastries from your bakery and trader Joes is definitely are brilliant hacks to save lots of time. Just in case you're looking for some great last minute macarons, Costco has some surprisingly yummy ones. Thanks sooo much for sharing this wonderful tea party tutorial with us, Haley.

Omg! Beet root chops from bong eats on youtube. Cadamom cake, chai tea, vegtable pakoras, beetroot or regular somosas! Marigols and jasmine flowers! Bombay sandwiches with beetroot! Perfect for a indian summer

To be completely honest, I struggled SO much with cutting the cake--hahah! 😂 I moved it off of the cake stand and cut it (very slowly and carefully) with a large and very sharp chef's knife. I used toothpicks to secure the layers as I assembled it, which helped keep it from toppling over as I cut it. I am so glad you think it's beautiful, and I think you could adapt the recipe with a vegan lemon cake and a vegan whipped cream frosting!
