Gosh. This makes me miss my granddaughter so much. She is about to turn 3 and lives across the country. I need to move. Period. When her mama and auntie were younger these are the kinds of parties I threw for them all the time and you just made me very nostalgic. Thank you!!! I have subscribed and just shared this with my daughter!!! ♥️♥️♥️
It makes me so happy to hear that this video reminds you of the parties you threw for your children--what a beautiful way to make memories! ❤️ I hope you and your daughter and granddaughter are able to make a tea party like this together very soon!
You have created my dream wedding reception, I absolutely adore this style and simplicity of it in one sense but then you get a beautiful picture perfect image with all of the colours 💛💛💛
So much work went into this video. Videos like this need to go viral. Most youtubers have been so disappointing lately...they just sit in front of the camera and talk about stuff like this which has no effort. I hope that your videos get out to more people.
My son is nearly six months old and his name is Arthur like the Celtic legends. You just gave me the theme for his half birthday this summer! It’s going to be so memorable, thank you 🙏🏽
Great tip for hard boil eggs, is to take the back of a metal spoon and gently tap the large end of the egg. When you hear a faint crack you are done. Your eggs will peel like a dream. Beautiful tea party ideas ❤
Going with the spoon into the egg shell can also work, but I found that it takes a good feel for the placement of the spoon. If the eggs are cooked well you can tap them, to crack the shell and then put them into a container filled with water. One egg at the time. put the lid on and shake it. The currents that result from the movement rip the shells off. We tried it and it works, but it depends on the eggs how nice they come out so I guess it's not so different from just peeling it with your fingers? Might still be worth a try. ^^
I finally discovered the secret to easily peel hard boiled eggs. Instead of boiling the eggs, steam the eggs in a steam basket. Bring the water to a boil under the basket, place the eggs in the basket, steam them for 13 minutes. Then plunge them into an ice bath. They practically fall out of the shell.
Yes 💯. Steaming eggs works. You can get a Japanese egg steamer online and they’re very inexpensive. You can always poke a small hole in the top of each egg so the steam separates the shell from the whites easier. ❤

I've had chickens for the past 30 years and fresh eggs are far more difficult than store bought eggs. I finally learned the trick to perfect fresh eggs. You add about1/3 cup or more of salt to you pot. After the eggs reach a boil turn off heat and let them steep in the salt water about 10 min. then one at a time crack the egg and gently roll it, then run it under cold water or place in an ice bath and the shell comes off easily. Yes I know that's a lot of salt but salt is cheap and they come out so nicely. PS if you have chickens feed them things like turmeric and red Chile powder. Chickens can eat the Chile and it's good for them. I also give them sweet basil, oregano, fennel seed, ground ginger, cinnamon, granulated garlic with the slightest sprinkle of salt. The yolks will become dark orange. 🧡💛🧡
That's so interesting what you feed your chickens. Crazy question, but do the eggs taste like the herbs you feed your chickens? Thank you for the boiled egg process. I'm definitely going to try that 😁👍🏻
Everything looks beautiful!!! Secret to peeling eggs with no problem is to soak the eggs into the cold water after boiling it. Let the eggs emerge into the cold water for 1 minute then crack the whole shells and peel it in the running cold water, white the eggs still hot.❤😊
Also, let the water boil before you add the eggs. And when peeling, start from the bottom because an air pocket forms there which makes it easier to peel.
Somehow missed this when it came out. So magical!! The effort you put in is truly admirable. With my health I'd never be able now. I was surprised to find i was tapping my feet along with the music you played when eating the feast. I usually find the music in videos distracting. Thank you! This was wonderful. ❤

You inspired my daughters and I to make the mini cakes for a summer solstice gathering, using coconut cake, mango, whip cream, and decorating with mint leaves.. It was the star of the party. Thanks for sharing.
Everything is so beautiful 🌸🌼🌺May I offer a suggestion since the fairy cakes are naked on the sides brush the cakes all around with some vanilla simple syrup so they don’t dry out while they sit on the table . It keeps it moist and delicious 😊. I absolutely love the moss effect of the cake wow it looks so gorgeous and realistic.
I use a teaspoon to peel boiled eggs! It works well and helps avoid taking little chunks out of the egg. I crack the egg with the back of the spoon, then gently push the spoon through the shell with the curve of the spoon facing the same way as the egg. 😊🥚🥄
Lovely. I have been making mini cakes for 20+yrs... a little cream on the underside of the top cake helps it stay in place on the fruit between the two cake layers. Use the "rest" cake (left over from the cut-out rounds) as a crumbed base in pots with fruit Greek yogurt on top as another desert.. you can top (or layer) with fruit compote and eg dark chocolate shavings on top. For the lemonade add fizzy spring water... a bit of fizz is great in lemonade.
Truly magical! Thank you for sharing the recipes! 💐 For the eggs - add a tablespoon of red wine vinegar to the boiling water, it helps with the peeling! 💕
This is so very lovely! I use this method for hard boiled eggs and never have a problem peeling them. Add eggs to pan, add a good amount of salt (helps to seal eggs if they crack and strengthens the whites) and a fair amount of baking soda, which increases the alkaline in the water and helps to loosen the whites from the shell. Bring to a boil for exactly 12 minutes. Place the eggs under cold water (add ice if you like) to stop the cooking process. Peel as soon as you can comfortably hold them. Crack the rounder end first then the pointier end. Next roll the egg to crack the whole shell. With the side of your thumb, under gently running water, scrape the shell away from the egg. Ta-da!
For boiled eggs, it can help to poke a small pinhole in them before you boil (I use a sewing pin with a firm piece of foam on the end for grip), this allows a small amount of boiling water to enter and helps separate the shell from the membrane more easily. The shock into ice water you already do, and then I gently roll the egg so that the shell is pretty evenly cracked all over to help loosen it all up.
🌿🌸🍀🌺☘️🌼🌱 I used to have trouble peeling hard boiled eggs until I began cooking my eggs via my Instant Pot. Now they are perfect every single time when I cook them and process them this way every time, which is I place 1 1/2 cups water into my instant pot, I place however man eggs I desire onto a trivet within the instant pot so they are not actually on the bottom of the pot. (I usually cook about 9 eggs for my recipes). Then I pressure cook the eggs on HIGH for 2 minutes and ‘natural release’ for exactly 15 minutes. I then remove the eggs and place them into an ice bath in a bowl. When cracking the eggs, I crack the ‘tip’ end first and then the other end before cracking the rest of the egg. The shells literally slide off and the inside of the egg is a beautiful perfect yellow when I follow this ‘recipe’ every time! 🥰🥚❣️
WOW!!!! Everything looks like it came out of a gourmet magazine! Just stunning and magical! Thank you for all of the great ideas-and thank you for making my day! Huge hugs- xoxoxoxo
I’ve found adding a bit of vinegar into the water before hard boiling them can help with the tricky egg peeling. What a beautiful spread you created! 🌸🌼🌷🫖
Dear Haley, it al looks absolutely wonderful. So colourful, which means many vitamins! For peeling the eggs; it might not be the most traditional thing, but since we have an egg cooker (at our Bed & Breakfast) we can peel our eggs very easy! My mother in law has the same experience. Might be of some use, although cooking them in a pan of water is much more romantic 😅❤ Warm regards, Esther
Hello, dear Esther!! 🥰 Thank you so much for your kind words--I'm so happy you enjoyed the video!! You've inspired me to buy an egg cooker, that's such a good tip!! Have a wonderful weekend, my friend ❤️
Plunging the boiled eggs into ice water, or placing the saucepan in the sink and running the coldest water into it. The trick is to cause the white to shrink, creating a space with a layer of steam between the egg and the membrane lined shell, from the temperature shock, and drawing some water through the shell pores to further help separation. Be sure to keep the water very cold and be patient. Rolling around the egg on the counter to finely crack it all up also helps to remove the shell in strips.
Thank you so much for such a cute idea and the recipes! I I had a garden party for my mom’s 60th birthday and I made the strawberry lemonade, the deviled eggs and the lettuce cups, and a non dairy version of the herbed cheese and everyone loved it!! So delicious!!
Oh dear this is so pretty!!! I would absolutely love to be invited to a tea party like this, with so much love and attention put into every little detail. Amazing video 💖
Thank you, very much for all of your creative ideas! Every thing you made is beautiful and would obviously make every guest feel extremely special! Use the edge of a spoon to gently crack a line around the center of a hard boiled egg shell. Rotate the egg in your non dominant hand, while using your dominate hand to insert the tip of the spoon under the shell, all of the way around the egg. You will be able to remove the egg, without having to break off tiny pieces of the shell. If you do a search for “how to remove the shell from a hard boiled egg, at sites like American’s Test Kitchen, or Food Network, you can read suggestions like, adding vinegar to the water that the eggs are cooked in.
This was so beautiful and brought back so many wonderful memories when I did this for my Triplets when they were wee. A little tip I do when peeling eggshells is after draining the hot water from pan I fill with cold water and tap the eggs and peel them under the water in the pan as they just slide off much easier! ♥️🌺🧚♀️🍃🧁🫖☕️
Wow! Just beautiful! My hardboiled eggs usually peel well if I add them to boiling water at once, boil for at least 13 min. and then plunge them in icewater to cool. I love how you pickled them, so pretty! The forest cake was my favorite!
This was absolutely beautiful!!!! The BEST and easiest and peel in two seconds or less hard boiled egg technique is honestly with an Instantpot. It is worth investing in one for the hard boiled eggs alone. 1 cup of water, as many eggs as you want. Five minuets high pressure, five minuets natural release. The manual release remainder of steam. Remove lid let cool… PEREFECTLY peeling hard boiled eggs every time!!!
Thank you so much for this wonderful tip!! ❤️ I've been wanting to get an instant pot for some time and your comment made me even more inspired to get one! I can't wait to try this method once I finally do 😊

Thank you so much for your kind words and tip about peeling eggs, Linda!! ❤️ I will definitely try this the next time I make them!!

🌾🎶🌸🌼🎶The most delightful party ever! Pure magic for young and old...thank you.🌺💐🌼🌻
Absolutely beautiful!!💜💙🩵
Thank you, dear!! 🥰
This was so beautiful and brought back so many wonderful memories when I did this for my Triplets when they were wee. A little tip I do when peeling eggshells is after draining the hot water from pan I fill with cold water and tap the eggs and peel them under the water in the pan as they just slide off much easier! ♥️🌺🧚♀️🍃🧁🫖☕️
I'm loving these tea parties! particularly anything violet or red themed! please share more?
many thanks & take care 💜❤
Wow, breathtaking!
Thank you so much, lovely!! 🥰
Wow! That is a colour bomb ! Amazing and truly lovely. Thank you for sharing this 😊
Thank you so much! ❤️
Absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤
Thank you so much, lovely!! 🥰
Wow! Just beautiful! My hardboiled eggs usually peel well if I add them to boiling water at once, boil for at least 13 min. and then plunge them in icewater to cool. I love how you pickled them, so pretty! The forest cake was my favorite!
Thank you so much for the tip, Tawnya--I will definitely try that the next time I make eggs!! I'm so happy you enjoyed the recipes 🥰
I can't wait to try this method once I finally do 😊
Use up the unused odds and ends from the cake to make cake balls or serve with other leftovers for a Hodge, podge through together desert❤
Fairies at heart...unite!! ✨✨💚💚🧚💐
