Because of what lucifer looks like and what his role was in the divine comedy, i depict him to be the "flesh prison" of p-3 imprisoning the prime soul in his mouth
Lucifer probably isn't a giant like dante's inferno one Supreme and Greater angels all look humanoid so its safe to assume Lucifer is just Gabriel sized and looks kinda like Gabriel
@@tuvergalarga6144sure, angels of high status to god/the council end up humanoid, but maybe becoming a fallen angel and rotting in hell would cause his body to disfigure and grow with swelling hatred
I think it will probably be after we fight Gabriel for the last time, since 3-1 was before we even meet him,6-2 was before we fight him,and 9-2 is probably going to be after he is dead
@@VortexF I really don't think Gabriel will be the third prime soul from a game design perspective, fighting the same person 4 times (3 was already pushing it) could get a bit stale
I personally think Odysseus is the best candidate for P-3’s boss, as he is A: A mythological Greek king B: Having done many fraudulent acts (Such as the Trojan Horse and salting the city of Troy’s soil) and being a trickster in his life C: Actually is in Dante’s Inferno, specifically Fraud, and D: Having some interesting ideas for his design and attacks, (The bag of winds and the fact he’s a master archer) potentially being the only Prime Soul to wield a weapon.
That's cool, though I don't think the third soul will be a Greek king. Minos and Sisyphus were made for their dynamic as a nonviolent leader, and violent insurrectionist, respectively. There's no reason to add a third king when duality is their whole thing.
This is exactly what I've been thinking. First of all Odysseus Prime sounds much cooler and less goofy than something like lucifer or jesus prime. Second of all it actually fits with the patterns from the other prime souls. There could be a lot of lore on Odysseus scattered around the fraud layer
I also think Prometheus would be thematically powerful. Prometheus granted fire to man, fire being the thing to kickstart that allowed man access to technology. Vampiric robots like V1 are the final product of this gift. This means that when Prometheus is killed by V1 he will be killed because of a kind act of empathy.
i figured he would witness what humanity has done with the gift of technology and be horrified by it, leading him to try and destroy every machine thats currently in hell starting with V1. he would use the head of the strongest one (V1) as proof that he has repented for what he has done and admits he had no knowledge that they would create such destructive beings. the room that contains P-3's door can be covered in blueprints for all of the machines currently running around hell (maybe even either V1's or V2's blueprints as well?) in an attempt to know what he is trying to destroy. The level leading up to the main boss fight would be a giant boss rush, fighting machines that were created by him as you scale a giant ice mountain; maybe a swordmachine with the jackhammer instead of the shotgun; a guttertank that lives up to the tank part of its name (treads and a multi barreled rocket launcher); and a soldier that was enhanced to being as big as a sisyphean insurrectionist (called the general) with the ability to launch a malicious rail-shot at you as well as a burst of soldier shotgun blasts, just to name a few possibilities. the time in between boss fights could be him monologuing to V1 about the day he gave humanity fire long ago and was thrown down into the fraud layer for that, and his husk was destroyed after managing to get humans to find the way into hell. His soul ensnared within the husk of lucifer himself (minos's corpse, but way harder (maybe it can be a giant cyborg that Prometheus pilots!). Once you start getting close to lucifer's corpse, he will admit hat he had no idea that he had doomed so many, until he witnessed the earthmovers in the Violence layer. He realized that humanity has killed itself via the blood machines and has given these mindless monsters access to hell, where they will wipe it clean of anything filled with blood. Once his prison is distroyed, he will announce that he will fix this error he has created and demolish every machine that is currently in hell, starting with V1. The fight itself is just the long demanded V3 fight that everyone wants (all of the weapons you would have by the end of the game and all of the different types of fists) and can maybe use tech that players know about the different weapons (saw traps, coin based trickery, and maybe even rocket riding) leading to a very fitting boss to end the game as a whole off of! everyone gets what the wanted for a third V2-esq boss fight, but its just REALLY hard as the final prime soul should be!
I just thought of Deadalus, the inventor of the Labyrinth in greek mythology. Since the Prime also had a form of forshadowing for their identity in the form of a boss fight, being the corpse of king Minos and the sisyphean insurrectionist respectively. One of the bosses of act 3 was the Minautor, a monster who was trapped in Deadalus' creation. He would also be a good candidate for being the representant of Fraud since in greek mythology, he tried to murder his nephew out of envy. It would further more explain the level of complexity behind hell's "design". Hell is depicted in a complex and hazardous way in some levels, similar to a labyrinth full of traps and dangers that were so present in both stories. I would argue that perhaps Deadalus could even have been "hired" by the council of Heaven to help create Hell and then being sent their as a punichment.
This is honestly the only theory that makes sense. I love Odysseus prime, and I personally think Cain Prime would be thematically powerful (ending the game called ULTRAKILL by fighting the guy that INVENTED MURDER just seems fitting). However, all the other primes have had foreshadowing in the form of a boss as you mentioned. Daedalus is the only one that makes sense given the foreshadowing of the Minotaur.
Personally, I think it wouls be awesome if the final Prime soul would be either Dante or Vergil, who were sent to the deepest pit of hell for the act of journeying through all of it and revealing its secrets. To fit the lore of Ultrakill better, they could even have been the people who started the Hell expeditions, which led to the fall of humanity, giving them a bigger reason to be in hell. If they were the prime bosses, it would likely be a flesh prison-esque fight leading into a battle against Vergil Prime, and then a gauntlet that leads V1 into a huge empty battlefield to fight Dante Prime at the end.
Just like others commented already: Odysseus Prime: 1: a mythological greek king just like Minos and Sisyphus. 2: is in Dante's inferno (fraud). 3: has commited an act against God himself (traversing the limit imposed by God by going west from spain) and the sheer will and determination Odysseus had in the Odyssey would be enough to be turned into a prime soul. 4: Minos hates Gabriel, Sisyphus hates Heaven itself, so as a prime climax, Odysseus could hate God himself.
Based off the previous two prime souls, i got the idea that Prime 3 would be someone more "zen" about killing, who sees it as a form of art. Minos was a peaceful and merciful man, Sisyphus fought for his people and enjoyed the struggle against authority, so P-3 would be someone who sees killing as art. And my theories were kinda confirmed when Violence dropped, especially considering the lore book in 7-1 and the phrase mainly associated with layer 7 was "the world is your canvas, take up your brush and paint the world red." The minotaur's terminal entry also supports this as it's creator considered it a "beautiful monument of death and despair." At this point the only person i can see as the prime soul is Daedalus, he built the labyrinth, he lead to the minotaur's conception, and he comitted the sins that are featured in Act 3.
From the minotaur's terminal entry, we potentially get the name for the p3-soul, but I recently noticed that the 4 letter word follow by a 6 letter word could slot in "Arsi Hakita", so my headcannon is that Hakita is cannon to ultrakill lore.
How bout Aegeus Prime - Human greek king - Committed suicide, landing himself in Violence - Fits into the 6 letters in Minotaur entry - Relationship with Minos - Not mentioned in Dante’s Inferno but Sisyphus is barely mentioned so it could work out - Dope af
@@mood5467 he could always be changed, like how Minos was evil in Dante’s but good in ultrakill and I forgot to say he had stuff to do w/ the Minotaur too
@@ajnorris0507 yea except that theres a direct relationship between the creator of the minotaur and minos, introducing someone knew would make this character completely irrelevant and would j be bad writing
For a long time before violence came out I thought it was gonna be Alexander the Great. I thought he would rule the violence layer. He fits all the criteria: Greek King, strong will, strong body.
There's a terminal in act 3 that has the blacked out words _ _ _ _ /_ _ _ _ _ _ which a lot of fans seemed to have interpreted as "hell itself" however another name that could fit in there would be King Lycaon. In greek mythology he was a king who killed and fed his son to zeus and as such was cursed into becoming the first werewolf. That story could make him a good fit for as the Prime Soul of Treachery while also keeping to the theme of all the prime souls being greek rulers. He would also be the kind of inhuman freak that it would make sense that he had done experiments to create something like the Minotaur. That's my fan theory at least
I've actually talked to family and friends who studied Greek mythology, just out of curiosity for who they would think could fit the bill. And I'm actually kind of surprised that I haven't really seen much, if anything, else suggesting this: King Menelaos. Ruler of Sparta who instigated the hostilities against Troy after his wife was abducted, ultimately bringing Troy down with the Trojan horse. There are several ways he could fit in between Violence, Fraud, and Treachery. This could be totally wrong, but for now it feels like a really solid line of reasoning to me. EDIT: Apparently some of the folks I talked to got a couple bits wrong according to the internet, so I fixed them. Hopefully the internet isn't also wrong.
Long shot here. But I can see Persephone Prime being a thing with her being the Queen of the Underworld in Greek Mythology. I can see her story in Ultrakill being that she committed treachery against the remaining humans who are living and traveled into the depth of hell, committing fraud with her ruling as a queen from hell. Also I can see the prime boss in some way using blood as a weapon against V1, be it using enemies of blood or creating weapons from blood.
@@Theheavyiskilled Yeah, because he was a husk before he got double-killed. And so was SIsyphus. And both *were* human, then they died and went to Hell as husks and were killed again. What point are you trying to make?
I quite like the idea of Prometheus Prime. It would make a lot of narrative sense, with him being a trickster and everything. As for Gabriel and a possible Hell Bossfight, I can kind of see V1 teaming up with him to destroy the “Heart of Hell” at the end of 9-2, therefore undoing God’s ultimate mistake. It also just sounds a little better and cooler than just V1 killing him at the end of Treachery.
@@ywer3455 My idea was that Gabe would direct him towards the Heart of Hell. Like he would find a way to make V1’s systems lock onto that so it destroys it?
Quick theory, if we need to P-Rank basically the whole act for each Prime Soul, I'm pretty sure Hakita would add something if you either P-Rank the whole game, or the three Prime Sanctums. Just, imagine, beating Minos, Sisyphus, Prometheus (?), and then fighting an entity much, much stronger than those three
The minotaur's thingy fits both king something and hell itself K I N G (whatever) █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ H E L L I T S E L F also hell is mean and lickes entertaining itself, and making the minautor as a caricature of mino's mistakes is very fitting for a being made to punish sinners :3
You know what I want from the 3rd Prime Sanctum? Minos was about being good at bossfights and such. Sisyphus was about being good at- well, war. Lots of enemies and such. I want the third to be about MOVEMENT. Big open space legitimately requiring ULTRABOOSTS or something, or a random idea I thought of, the Prime Soul fight being fought entirely in the air.
I think it's Odysseus He sailed for 10 years out of sheer will to see his wife again (souls become prime souls when they have a lot of willpower). He's in the eighth part of the fraud layer in dante's Inferno. And he's a greek King. Has a connection to a tree (like the tree of life mentioned in 7-1 and the olive tree that was his bed). maybe he stole a ferryman's boat and was punished for it, or maybe he was punished for using the tree of life as a bed. Prison: the flesh penitentiary Penitentiary is basically another kind of prison and this time it'll be the room itself. Using yhe power of the soul it contains to contain it.
I have two ideas for the flesh prison of P-3 The first, and simpler one, had to do with the support pillars on Flesh Prison and Flesh Panopticon. Flesh Prison has one on the top and bottom, whole Panopticon has only the bottom one. So i propose that the third prison will be *mobile* and have no support structures. My other idea is that the formula will be shaken up even more. Instead of just breaking out of the prison, the third prime soul will break out, and then trap *you* inside of it, and that'll be the first part of the boss. Maybe it'd be much bigger and act as a super hard gauntlet of sorts.
I love the idea of the third flesh prison to literally be the *whole level*. Perhaps something similar to the "flesh dimension" fan idea for Jesus Prime. It could be a giant floating orb, and you wouldn't be able to damage it directly, so you'd have to jump into it and it would teleport you a whole ass level. Hakita did mention in the Act III dev commentary video that he's "messing around with non-euclidean geometries for the next layers" so I'm excited to see if those ideas will somehow be included in the prime sanctum.
7-s gave us some lore - Library of Babel. As in the Tower of Babel, built to reach the heavens and god punished that with languages. The man who plotted this affront to the heavens was king Nimrod, who is in fact featured in Dante's Inferno. We still have the question of who is making Demons like the Minotaur - a grotesque creature meant to "establish a rapport" with Minos. So it will probably have something to do with what we find in Treachery layer. We will see, it can all go a number of ways.
forgot one thing, every prime soul until now had a direct connection or indirect to the original dante's inferno story, minos being directly in it and Sisyphus as an indirect connection since the punishment in greed layer in dante's inferno
I personally theorize Odysseus Prime. The Trojan Horse guy. Was a Greek dude featured in Inferno in the Fraud lauer. As for Lucifer and Gabriel, we don't have any confirmation that angels can even go Prime... Only that humans can. And as for Judas, Jesus was made non-canon in Ultrakill so it wouldn't make sense for a Judas Prime to happen.
Flesh Tantallon and Tantalus prime. Tantalus has already escaped the prison but decided to spare it because he enjoys seeing a fight. Flesh tantallon has 2 phases one outside of him and one inside of him. Tantalus prime has several near one shot moves.
I feel like Daedalus would probably be the most likely, due to the setup with terminals that the other prime sanctums were doing. A non Euclidean maze before the boss for the labyrinth would be cool too, but some of that’s already been done in violence
I like the Prometheus or titan P-3 theory, but the more I think about Odysseus the more he seems fitting for a third prime soul. Fraud and threachery are yet to be seen, so lore potential still allows for much.
I don’t have any good idea on who’s going to be our next prime boss but I do have a great idea on how the level might play out. Instead of having to go through another gauntlet like P-2, I’d imagine the level to be a mix of P-1 and P-2, the gauntlet is located in the flesh boss room itself. I would imagine the flesh boss be flying above the frozen city (prime levels are always located at the last layer of each act) while enemies would constantly spawn in to stop V1 from destroying the Flesh boss. I like your idea of the boss being protected by multiple idols, instead of having the ability to regenerate, the boss would instead have a larger pool of health than F Prison and F Panopticon. Once the Flesh boss is killed, the prime soul would plunge down towards the frozen city destroying a large area of buildings that was located directly below his prison
Glad I wasn’t the only person thinking about it similarly I genuinely thought it was gonna be Gabriel in p3 but when I started thinking about the bosses we got so far Prometheus is just right there with his love of humanity and being uniquely punished by the gods/council
I personally believe Icarus would be the third prime soul, his father made the Minotaur and as we know, his father was struck down by Minos in the spot, I would think Icarus would want to kill Minos, but Gabriel got to Minos first, Icarus would die in some way and due to his want for revenge, would form into a prime soul
icarus kinda makes most sense considering he kinda embodies being power-hungry, ignoring warnings and hubris, which does fit a part of the violence layer.
My idea once on P-3 was a crazy one, but something I didn't see often in community. P-3 as a level that some kind of Boss rush. You'll fight all the machines you met all on the way here, but they will be not just enemies, but a bossfights, bossfights with demonized versions on Swordsmachine, Streetcleaner, mindflayer, gutterman, guttertank, drones, earthmover and of course V2. At the end of the level, we are going to see a mirror and then, V1 from mirror brokes it and it's a boss fight with ourselfs. He's just like us, as perfect as we are. He can you use hands, ALL the same weapons and maybe even some teicks like railcoin or smth else. Maybe the whole level itself looks like an Earth after war, after humanity's death. Wasteland where we fighting our "siblings" and then fighting the demon inside us, our reflection, covered in blood.
If he is JUST like us, he'd be very squishy; probably weak enough to kill with a well-placed nuke or railcoin/ultraricoshot; unless they're even BETTER than us.
Ok hear me out. Lucifer as the flesh warden And the P-3 Prime Soul is Brutus, Cassius, and Judas Prime. Three mouths, three kings of all traitors, three bosses you have to fight all at once in the third and final prime sanctum.
Although the Prometeus concept is great (imagine fighting a giant eagle instead of the cube of flesh) I think the most logical P-3 boss will be Ulysses. He is in Fraud, He is a Mythological greek King (perhaps the most famous), He could lead expeditions to allow humanity to discover hell entrance since in Dante's Inferno its basically what he did (TL;DR the Geographical location of Dante's inferno is beyond the Strait of Gibraltar where it was said that Ulysses met is his death trying to explore the unknown seas) and He could have a unique prison since it is said that Ulysses and his men are tormented in litteral fiery pits (imagine entring the empty arena when a giant pillar of flames starts attacking you lol)
I'm probably not the first to point this out but both prime souls have a motif used from a song that appears in the second level of their layer (ORDER uses the Requiem motif from 2-2 and WAR uses a motif from Sands of Time which appears in 4-2). This means the third prime soul theme will probably use a motif from either 7-2 or 8-2
Promethus is my favorite concept too, its really cool. Great video as always, discovered you fairly recently and ur rlly cool Btw hakita confirmed its judas, trust
my idea for p-3 is that who ever the prime soul is will be so powerful that they will just be sitting there because they escaped from the prison holding them. basically you enter the room and he will just be sitting there, and then he starts this games boss rush where you fight every boss and at the end you fight minos prime and when he gets to half hp, Sisyphus spawns in and you have to fight sisyphus and minos at the same time. then after the boss rush you fight who ever the prime soul is
They recently added a puppet modifier for all enemies into the game, now i am scared P-3 will straight up use bosses as normal enemies, imagine fighting v2 with a bunch of other stuff.
My main especulation is that, since P-1 was a boss, P-2 was a level, logically, P-3 would be A WHOLE LAYER, that could be heaven, or hell, I don't know
something random that I think could be cool is just there not being a flesh prison fight. I think it could be pretty cool to just walk into a room and immediately get jumpscared by the boss.
I’m actually making a video on my speculation and theories of P-3, with my own criteria and allat. Should be done by next week or so. No spoilers, because looking for an answer be like flying too close to the sun 😉 Also, great video. Will include Prometheus in my version of P-3 too
I have never heard prometheus as a candidate but I really like the idea. I could see him possibly having his liver eaten from a flesh prison esc monster instead of the bird depicted in the myth. Possible Prometheus would be within the prison screaming as we fight it? Maybe this flesh prison could fly around parts of the arena? It could possibly heal from consuming Prometheus’s liver however that would work.
I made a theory about it myself and tried to do some research, and I came up with this I don't have much to go off of from but in king Minos' lore (in myth) he makes king Aegeus sacrifice 7 boys and 7 girls to the labirynth, everyone says it could be Deadalus the terminal of Minotaur speaks about, but it has 4 boxes, which fits in King, and 6 boxes that could fit Aegeus. Why I think it's Aegeus and why he would be imprisoned? • In his myth, Aegeus attacks Athens itself, which can be Heaven itself, so he would be imprisoned in the last sanctum, the most heavily guarded one near the palace of Heaven, as he was the one who got the farthest out of all previous kings. Minos barely got anything going, Sisyphus got halfway with an entire insurrection, and to follow the nice trend, Aegeus who managed to invade heaven with his gnarly creations. • The marathonian bull shows up in the myth which kills Minos' son because Aegeus challenged Minos' son to try and defeat it. In the game, Minos has no sons, so it could refer to anything else, but then it would also fit with why Aegeus would try to make amends with him, gift Minos the sculpted bull, and why Minos would be appaled by it's design and reminding him of his past mistake. Aegeus could be also the same person who sculpted the sea serpent and the hideous mass, since they share a lot design wise with the bull. Ceramic/marble body connected with red fleshy joints. 3 of them could be his "brothers" that would also attack the Athens, Heavens. The mannequin doesn't seem like Aegeus' creation, as it is made out of solid marble with blood dripping from it with no actual flesh, thus a red herring to throw theories off maybe? I know it is not much to go off from and the pieces just barely hold together, but this is probably the best we can come up with that has any form of connection and logical links to the game
My personal idea is that it could be king tantalus cuz of a book I read 1. He murdered his son (which could have sent him to the violence layer) 2. He tricked the gods into eating his son (this is a stretch ik but it could have sent him to fraud bc the gods were promised a good meal) 3. he was seen among the realm of the dead in Homer's odyssey alongside king Minos, Sisyphus and Tityos: the fist two being the obvious prime souls 4. Tityos would not p-3 bc he didn't commit violence or fraud 5. tantalus' punishment was similar to sisyphus' punishment with it being more mental torture with it being him getting put in a pool of water with the low-hanging branches of the lotus tree and its extremely addictive fruit being just out of his reach 6.(this next one is another stretch) considering violence is literally white hell, and that act 2 has a desert and an ocean, two totally opposite biomes, I think that its not too much of a far reach to assume fraud will be really colorful unlike violence, and the design could be linked to how the lotus fruit might have looked. take this opinion with a grain of salt ofc, as this is all just an evidence-based guess that i think would make the most sense Also I do believe that prometheus and odysseus are both good guesses, however I think that prometheus is unlikey because he was mentioned at a later time. For odysseus I think that he wasn't in the right position, as he was looking onward into hell seeing sisyphus', minos' and tantalus' punishments but i think it is still a highly likely guess. Thanks for reading all of my babble lol
4:25 Hell is enternal torment, a machine feels no pitty, no remorse, no empathy, it's perfect by Hell's standards. Once only machines are left, Hell will only have one source of torment itself, and it will fight. Doubt it'll actually happen. But I do like the idea, hell giving a last ditch effort, forced to live through itself by it's own perfected designs, though unlikely just simply due to how Hell works.
Another thing preventing Lucifer and Gabriel from being prime bosses is that they are angels. Hakita has said that it isn't possible for angels or demons to become prime souls. Only human souls are able to do that. (Source: Some random TH-cam comment I saw on another video speculating on P-3)
I think there's a huge flaw in the way you're thinking. There's no requirement for Prime Souls to be Greek mythological figures, rule a layer, or be kings. Those are just characteristics Minos and Sisyphus happened to have in common. There's also no reason why the third soul would do the exact same thing again, as there's no reason for there to be a third Greek king. Minos and Sisyphus were a duo of peaceful and violent revolutionaries, adding a third Greek king to that dynamic wouldn't make sense. The only lore requirements to be a Prime Soul are that you have to 1. Have people who believe in you 2. Die 3. (To be imprisoned) Rebel against Heaven.
Its Daedalus. He was represented in the violence labyrinth and the Minotaur is a boss fight foreshadowing his existence, plus the lore tabs blurring his name our but clearly making reference to him, interacting w king minos it makes more sense then them introducing Prometheus?? Or literally any other character Idk makes no sense. Also, i doubt Gabriel will be the final boss. Thatd be a tired way to end the game, by the time i got to pt 2 of the fight i beat him in 2 tries it j would not make sense gameplay wise. Narratively he completely flipped after our fight w him, it doesnt make sense that he would try and kill us again after learning so much from losing to us twice.
I personally believed Gabriel would be like a pre fight before Hell itself is revealed to be the final boss. Possibly having some metal arena where you meet with Gabriel to fight with the background showing like the husk or corpse of lucifer holding back Hells full power, since throughout the game it's only been able to talk to you slightly through brief messages.
i would say that the p-3 soul would be something involved in Treachery, like, think about it we've already had something from the second layer of act 1, Minos... then the one from the first layer of act 2, Sisyphus... and now, what remains is something to be involved with the third layer of act III, so maybe it's something like Judas or stuff like that
While i mostly agree with most of your points presented here, i think it should be noted that while it does seem very probable all the prime bosses would be heretical greek kings within a flesh prison of sorts, i do not think it's entirely impossible that P-3 would break either of these rules. In particular, i find it plausible that there would not be any sort of prison in P-3 given both the trend of each prime soul being more powerful than the other (Minos needing to be freed by V1, Sisyphus freeing himself) aswell as the fact that the prison fight was barely present in P-2 already as it is.
Here is a 100% facts about the next prime soul 1 he must be a humen 2 he must be loved or admired by a lot of people 3 he must be a king 4He will be male 5 heaven angels hate them and kill them 6 he must have a very strong will to do something
I know it's super unlikely but I'm super obsessed with the concept of cassandra of troy being the p-3 boss Think about it, her predicting the fall of the council, perhaps even the destruction of heaven, and being locked away because the council feared that her prophetic visions would inspire the residents if hell into action
Here is what I DON'T want P-3 to be. - Lucifer / Satan / the Devil, or whatever name / placeholder you have for the "ruler" of Hell / "villain" of reality - Hell itself - Any angel in general
I think it'll be Tantalus Prime. A famous greek king who tricked the gods into eating his son, as well as stealing the gods' food Ambrosia from Olympus. He was severely punished for his crimes by being halfway submerged in a lake he could never drink from, lined by trees with tasty fruit that was always just out of reach. He fits in better than Prometheus imo as he was also a human king. And he also fits fraud as a layer very well. You could set the fight on an island filled with trees to evoke his punishment. And have him actually heal using stolen ambrosia if Hakita is feeling evil.
I think it’d be cool if the flesh prison the third prime soul was trapped in WAS the level, like a flesh dimension or something. Could spawn puppeted versions of enemies (we now have a toggle for that in the sandbox), and revolve around collecting many skills to open a big door in the center of it all
I thought that it would be something like daedalus because so far the theme for prime souls has been mythological greek figures who were punished and daedalus was imprisoned after he made the labyrinth that held the minotaur
You forget the flesh jail prisons and panoptions are names of jail types Flesh prison is a prism The flesh panopticon looks like the tower of a panopticon
for your argument of the pattern i have a counterargument this is hakita were talking about, one of the most unpredictable people ever, what he would WANT us to think is that the previous two are creating a pattern then do something completely different, overall we have virtually nothing to go off of because of how unpredictable this guy is
I think adding prime souls is kind of like Chekhov’s Gun. A dead person coming back to life through sheer will, and here we have Gabriel, an alive person with a lot of will. Lore wise Gabriel prime would be second to God and hell so it would be a lore wise awesome boss fight.
I once Heared The idea of The third prime soul would be waiting you, sitting in The floor and already out of their prisión. Like, if sisyphus was already strong enough to breack his prisión, just needing to wake him Up. It would be Epic if The last soul were so powerful that even its prisión was not able to contain It.
I think a cool idea for hell being p-3 would be if you obtain some sort of item that is the only way to affect hell, and getting the item could be attained before you enter the arena.
theres two ideas i got. ZUES PRIME. not only from greek mythology. but also the manifestation of almost all sins in hell. and the father himself GOD. being the ultimate twist possibly. and in lore wanting to seal himself away for his worse creation. wile god breaks the greek myth only rule it whoud still make the most sense imo.
along with that. the father woud be the only prime soul to be not in a flesh prison. or maybe another fake out like with Sisyphus. it woud also go well with you killing gabriel in 9-2. the rage of god finally building up after all the times you disrespected gabriel and finally killed him. along with all the angels you killed in your cleansing of hell. i think that woud be cool narratively
I have seen people talk that Nimrod would be a prime soul given he was mentioned to have made the minotaur which he saw as beautiful there is also the fact about 7-S being the libary of babel
I remember in the lore it is clearly stated that Hell is alive and breathing, so maybe hell is the final prime soul Imagine you enter the room and the walls start yelling
I think us fighting and destroying Hell would be a good conclusion to the story. It would be like putting everything to rest by ending Hell we would end all the suffering of those trapped there.
Okay so I've gotten a idea (Though i doubt it'll happen) King David who was a murderer and did other things although he is known for being patient . Therefore Kind of Violence (Or treachery) and the lore behind him was "King David had caused a major uprising among the layer of Violence brutally killing every Angel they've seen and killing those who simply refused to even fight at all. Later he was defeated by Gabriel who had cut his limbs to pieces and stabbed his through the heart. The layer of Violence was recaptured after the incident leaving King David to suffer a enteral pain in his prison." But i had a idea for when you first meet him. "V1 enters a opened gate way as if someone had entered before him. However on the hunt for Gabriel who had ran away wanting a final rematch. Although to Gabriel's surprise he had entered the third Prime Sanctum filled with the bodies of Husks, Demons and Machines and met David Prime who had been blocked away with a heavily secured door that Gabriel opened and released David Prime fully.
Hey, we have the same idea, cool
That's cool, though I don't think the third soul will be a Greek king. Minos and Sisyphus were made for their dynamic as a nonviolent leader, and violent insurrectionist, respectively. There's no reason to add a third king when duality is their whole thing.
This is exactly what I've been thinking. First of all Odysseus Prime sounds much cooler and less goofy than something like lucifer or jesus prime. Second of all it actually fits with the patterns from the other prime souls. There could be a lot of lore on Odysseus scattered around the fraud layer
What if his prison is a flesh trojan horse?
Just a horse.@@cracked-5250
I also think Prometheus would be thematically powerful. Prometheus granted fire to man, fire being the thing to kickstart that allowed man access to technology. Vampiric robots like V1 are the final product of this gift. This means that when Prometheus is killed by V1 he will be killed because of a kind act of empathy.
Oh so the fire is gone after him then
i figured he would witness what humanity has done with the gift of technology and be horrified by it, leading him to try and destroy every machine thats currently in hell starting with V1. he would use the head of the strongest one (V1) as proof that he has repented for what he has done and admits he had no knowledge that they would create such destructive beings. the room that contains P-3's door can be covered in blueprints for all of the machines currently running around hell (maybe even either V1's or V2's blueprints as well?) in an attempt to know what he is trying to destroy.
I like that theory
My favorite theory is Filth Prime. Not because it’s practical but because it’s funny
If they were the prime bosses, it would likely be a flesh prison-esque fight leading into a battle against Vergil Prime, and then a gauntlet that leads V1 into a huge empty battlefield to fight Dante Prime at the end.
or it could be a prime duo, who knows
just imagine fighting two prime souls at *the same time*
ITS DMC REFERENCE
Just like others commented already: Odysseus Prime:
1: a mythological greek king just like Minos and Sisyphus.
2: is in Dante's inferno (fraud).
3: has commited an act against God himself (traversing the limit imposed by God by going west from spain) and the sheer will and determination Odysseus had in the Odyssey would be enough to be turned into a prime soul.
4: Minos hates Gabriel, Sisyphus hates Heaven itself, so as a prime climax, Odysseus could hate God himself.
odysseus would be great for king of fraud, because we have no king of violence
Probably gonna be Tantalus

No but he was an *actual* Greek king as opposed to a mythological figure like all other characters in Ultrakill

Imagine Dante/virgil being the prime soul
I think it's Odysseus
He sailed for 10 years out of sheer will to see his wife again (souls become prime souls when they have a lot of willpower).
Prison: the flesh penitentiary
Penitentiary is basically another kind of prison and this time it'll be the room itself. Using yhe power of the soul it contains to contain it.
Okay, your pitch on Prometheus was amazing
Specially the chains idea
I have two ideas for the flesh prison of P-3
The first, and simpler one, had to do with the support pillars on Flesh Prison and Flesh Panopticon.
Hakita did confirm that "You will never at any point fight Lucifer in Ultrakill"

Bro cooking constantly
I've been thinking about this a lot and Prometheus has been on my radar for a while now. Thanks for actually mentioning him.
Glad I wasn’t the only person thinking about it similarly
I genuinely thought it was gonna be Gabriel in p3 but when I started thinking about the bosses we got so far Prometheus is just right there with his love of humanity and being uniquely punished by the gods/council
@@bento1732 Agreed. This idea needs some modernisation and more depth into it, but as concept it's sounds interesting, for me at least

Lucifer as the flesh warden
And the P-3 Prime Soul is Brutus, Cassius, and Judas Prime.
Also i dont think Judas and Lucifer are out of the table
I just think they will be regular bosses
I'm probably not the first to point this out but both prime souls have a motif used from a song that appears in the second level of their layer (ORDER uses the Requiem motif from 2-2 and WAR uses a motif from Sands of Time which appears in 4-2). This means the third prime soul theme will probably use a motif from either 7-2 or 8-2

Also, great video. Will include Prometheus in my version of P-3 too
I'll be sure to check it out!
I made a theory about it myself and tried to do some research, and I came up with this
I don't have much to go off of from but in king Minos' lore (in myth) he makes king Aegeus sacrifice 7 boys and 7 girls to the labirynth, everyone says it could be Deadalus the terminal of Minotaur speaks about, but it has 4 boxes, which fits in King, and 6 boxes that could fit Aegeus.
New blood should hire this man
My personal idea is that it could be king tantalus cuz of a book I read
1. He murdered his son (which could have sent him to the violence layer)
2. He tricked the gods into eating his son (this is a stretch ik but it could have sent him to fraud bc the gods were promised a good meal)
3. he was seen among the realm of the dead in Homer's odyssey alongside king Minos, Sisyphus and Tityos: the fist two being the obvious prime souls
4. Tityos would not p-3 bc he didn't commit violence or fraud
5. tantalus' punishment was similar to sisyphus' punishment with it being more mental torture with it being him getting put in a pool of water with the low-hanging branches of the lotus tree and its extremely addictive fruit being just out of his reach
6.(this next one is another stretch) considering violence is literally white hell, and that act 2 has a desert and an ocean, two totally opposite biomes, I think that its not too much of a far reach to assume fraud will be really colorful unlike violence, and the design could be linked to how the lotus fruit might have looked.
take this opinion with a grain of salt ofc, as this is all just an evidence-based guess that i think would make the most sense
Also I do believe that prometheus and odysseus are both good guesses, however I think that prometheus is unlikey because he was mentioned at a later time.
For odysseus I think that he wasn't in the right position, as he was looking onward into hell seeing sisyphus', minos' and tantalus' punishments but i think it is still a highly likely guess.
Thanks for reading all of my babble lol

Another thing preventing Lucifer and Gabriel from being prime bosses is that they are angels. Hakita has said that it isn't possible for angels or demons to become prime souls. Only human souls are able to do that. (Source: Some random TH-cam comment I saw on another video speculating on P-3)
You are doing this commentary thing great keep it up
I think there's a huge flaw in the way you're thinking. The only lore requirements to be a Prime Soul are that you have to
1. Have people who believe in you
2. Die
3. (To be imprisoned) Rebel against Heaven.

Narratively he completely flipped after our fight w him, it doesnt make sense that he would try and kill us again after learning so much from losing to us twice.
For Gabriel specifically it could be him sealing himself as some form of repentance.
I’m a huge enthusiast of Mr Tower of Babel King Nimrod being the last prime
I’m thinking between Dionysius (tyrant of Syracuse not the wine guy), Tantalus and Nimrod.
its gonna be hakita himself
i would say that the p-3 soul would be something involved in Treachery, like, think about it
we've already had something from the second layer of act 1, Minos...
then the one from the first layer of act 2, Sisyphus...
and now, what remains is something to be involved with the third layer of act III, so maybe it's something like Judas or stuff like that
I think adam prime makes the most sense, since he made the design of the minotaur and the demons
this was a joke theory I had which would probably work well as a funny secret
"And then along came Zeus"
While i mostly agree with most of your points presented here, i think it should be noted that while it does seem very probable all the prime bosses would be heretical greek kings within a flesh prison of sorts, i do not think it's entirely impossible that P-3 would break either of these rules. In particular, i find it plausible that there would not be any sort of prison in P-3 given both the trend of each prime soul being more powerful than the other (Minos needing to be freed by V1, Sisyphus freeing himself) aswell as the fact that the prison fight was barely present in P-2 already as it is.
Only confirmed piece is Terminal 00 in P-3.
Explaining Hell is Alive.
they had a HUGE chance to tease hades as the final prime soul in the alt shotgun room
Here is a 100% facts about the next prime soul
1 he must be a humen
2 he must be loved or admired by a lot of people
3 he must be a king
4He will be male
5 heaven angels hate them and kill them
6 he must have a very strong will to do something
Why male btw?
@@Mischievouslilfella because the voices in my head told me so
Prometheus Prime
7. The music will defitnily slap
Alexander the Great?
I know it's super unlikely but I'm super obsessed with the concept of cassandra of troy being the p-3 boss
Think about it, her predicting the fall of the council, perhaps even the destruction of heaven, and being locked away because the council feared that her prophetic visions would inspire the residents if hell into action
Whenever I hear Lucifer Prime, I can't stop thinking about Lucifer acting like Optimus Prime lol
Here is what I DON'T want P-3 to be.
- Lucifer / Satan / the Devil, or whatever name / placeholder you have for the "ruler" of Hell / "villain" of reality
- Hell itself
- Any angel in general
I think it'll be Tantalus Prime. A famous greek king who tricked the gods into eating his son, as well as stealing the gods' food Ambrosia from Olympus. He was severely punished for his crimes by being halfway submerged in a lake he could never drink from, lined by trees with tasty fruit that was always just out of reach. He fits in better than Prometheus imo as he was also a human king. And he also fits fraud as a layer very well. You could set the fight on an island filled with trees to evoke his punishment. And have him actually heal using stolen ambrosia if Hakita is feeling evil.
Prometheus is genius. I really hope this is the case. I do think a lucifer fight will happen though, probably in the main story too.
I think it’d be cool if the flesh prison the third prime soul was trapped in WAS the level, like a flesh dimension or something. Could spawn puppeted versions of enemies (we now have a toggle for that in the sandbox), and revolve around collecting many skills to open a big door in the center of it all
Let me fight Adam and Eve in an Ornstein and Smough style match
Peometheus got punished by being chained up and having his liver eaten by eagles, maybe one attack could be a swarm of crows/eagles
I thought that it would be something like daedalus because so far the theme for prime souls has been mythological greek figures who were punished and daedalus was imprisoned after he made the labyrinth that held the minotaur
God : What if he didn't give up, but it was a cover by the council to imprison him
I have a hypothesis that the "Flesh Prison" of P-3 is going to be Hell itself.
You forget the flesh jail
prisons and panoptions are names of jail types
Flesh prison is a prism
The flesh panopticon looks like the tower of a panopticon
for your argument of the pattern i have a counterargument
this is hakita were talking about, one of the most unpredictable people ever, what he would WANT us to think is that the previous two are creating a pattern then do something completely different, overall we have virtually nothing to go off of because of how unpredictable this guy is
I think adding prime souls is kind of like Chekhov’s Gun.
Lucifer sounds cool. But Hakita said himself that you will NEVER fight Lucifer in Ultrakill.
I think a cool idea for hell being p-3 would be if you obtain some sort of item that is the only way to affect hell, and getting the item could be attained before you enter the arena.
Midas Prime.
I believe it, it would be sick.
theres two ideas i got.
ZUES PRIME. not only from greek mythology. but also the manifestation of almost all sins in hell.
and the father himself GOD. being the ultimate twist possibly. and in lore wanting to seal himself away for his worse creation.
wile god breaks the greek myth only rule it whoud still make the most sense imo.
along with that. the father woud be the only prime soul to be not in a flesh prison. or maybe another fake out like with Sisyphus. it woud also go well with you killing gabriel in 9-2. the rage of god finally building up after all the times you disrespected gabriel and finally killed him. along with all the angels you killed in your cleansing of hell. i think that woud be cool narratively
I have seen people talk that Nimrod would be a prime soul given he was mentioned to have made the minotaur which he saw as beautiful there is also the fact about 7-S being the libary of babel
Idk about yall but i think zeus prime would be sick, along with Wrath being a layer
I remember in the lore it is clearly stated that Hell is alive and breathing, so maybe hell is the final prime soul
Imagine you enter the room and the walls start yelling
David Prime gives Gabriel a 'Lesson' and as he prepares a finishing blow V1 enters the room seeing David Prime holding Gabriel by the head."
Dialogue: "Hm? Ah Version 1 you've arrived just in time. (V1 sees David Prime tear off Gabriel's head and drop his limp body.) I've been awaiting your arrival ever since you've defeated King Sisyphus. Machine... After the mass killing i've caused before your arrival and stealing the death of your rival.. I must say you've come quite a long way. Crushing King Minos and King Sisyphus is no easy task. After all, you've made your way down to me. I will not fall so easily. I'm aware my path ends here with you.. So i shall enjoy this while i can. WE shall get this over with, Machine
And lets have FUN. (Fight initiates)
I'll probably add more to this because its very fun (Maybe his attack lines)
i remember seeing some theory about how since p-1 was a boss, p-2 was a level, p-3 should be another layer.
probably not but it just seemed really cool.
Now waiting for Ideas and Speculations for Finale
