Can't Get The Fitech To Act As Pass Through. It Doesn't Have The Com Port In Device Manager Like Yours. I Did The K Line Drivers And Still Nothing. I Have To Use The Mass Storage Option To Pull Tune, Open In Pro Cal And Then Save And Then Put It Back Into mass Storage Device And Then Write To ECU.
Can you please fix this software so the injector size matches the handheld values. This really makes it difficult to tune as your guessing what the hand held will do to the fueling calcs?
Please make make demo on making a tune file on laptop for Fitech Ultimate LS. That way a remote tuner IS NOT needed. Learn myself . Also what is the biggest injectors from fitech for the Ultimate LS system. I run a turbo set up.
hello 2 years ago I purchased a HiTech GO EFI system and have not been able to use it because I have not been given the software installation files that you are using in this video. can you please help me to get the correct software so that I can finally use my Fitech fuel injection system.
The Go EFI system does not come with the PC software. Only PowerAdder systems do. However if you call the tech support line and kindly ask for it they will email you the software.
I Have The Injectors Set On Handheld To 39#. On Pro Cal It Comes Up As 59#.. I Change It To 39# On Procal And Then It Shows Up As Like 26# On Handheld. Which Do I Believe? Must Be A Minor Glitch.
lol, so much for self learning. Has a lot left to be desired on the self learning part. I think those adjustments should be part of the self learning. It takes me 3 tries to get the accel pump shot tuned on a carb. Why is it so hard for this to learn such a simple thing? I have the 1200 hp unit purchased over 6 years ago. I shelved it because it didn't learn well. Now 6 years later I would like to use this expensive thing I bought. It works fine. If by fine I mean lean and rich spots. ANd never seems to learn that accel pump shot and when to back off of it.
Use the section ACCEL PUMP under the Go EFI TUNING menu on the handheld. Self learning is the learning of a steady state RPM, not transitional load changes. The system will try to cover them up the for better results some adjustment to the accel pump settings will be required.
@@FiTechEFImedia Thanks, yea I have the acc pump +65-+75 on cam 3. Seems to be much better. Is there a way to set the base driving temp lower? Is there an intake air temp option too? It has ram air hood (73 mustang) .
Hello, our ProCal software is only included with power adder systems. Yours does not have the software, all tuning must be done through the handheld for the 30008 system.
@@FiTechEFImedia You said PC software is only available for the power adder system, but yet this video is for a 30002 and it has the software available. So what the hell?
Our software is only available with systems that have have a power adder, however if you obtain this software from a power adder unit it will connect to non power adder systems.
@@FiTechEFImedia isnt the 30002 a non power adder unit though? sorry for maybe a dumb question just trying to see if i need to spend extra for software
@@z2reasons2killz Yes you are correct, we have a disclaimer in the description. This unit is used for R&D purposes only which is why it has access to the software.
@@FiTechEFImedia So if I understand you correctly, the power adder handheld units includes the software install files, while the non-power adder handheld units do not include the software install files? And if I were to get the software install files from somewhere else (power adder unit, or just a friend/internet forum) so that I can install it on my laptop, the software will be able to download, adjust, and upload calibrations into ANY system (both power adder and non-power adder)? IMO this is a very poor design choice, the software should be available to all. I should not choose a 1200HP system for a 400HP engine just to get the tuning software, I would be much better off with the 625HP system as the injectors aren't drastically oversized, the 625HP system will provide better performance and drivability on a smaller engine. You are pushing customers to an oversized system just to get the extra tuning capability, which will result in an engine that can't be properly tuned in light-throttle and idle because the injector pulses are too short.
Finally some FiTech news I can use! So now that I'm adjusting using the Pro software do I still need to key-off the ignition to store the settings?
Yes you still do
1:06 into the video, my handheld does not have the folder containing the PC software. Can it be downloaded?

Fic 850 or 1000’s would be great……no more than 120lbers
