This 17:35 1v1 sequence with the guy in the hallway is eye opening as a new player. We would love for an updated peeking guide explaining how to do this, with a keyboard overlay. I personally would be grateful. Great quality vids lately bro. 🙏

Easy when inertia isn't fucking with you lol. Level up your skills so your movements are cleaner, and drop your bag so you're lighter.
it mostly just comes down to making sure you don't build up too much inertia. You wanna move as little as possible so you don't have any extra time to build up speed which will make it take longer to change directions. So start as close to the angle as possible and peek out as little as possible. Practicing in the hideout helps quite a bit. I'd recommend starting by just practicing peeking out while leaning and crouching and then just holding the angle instead of moving back. Once you get the hang of precisely taking an angle it's pretty easy to get the timing to jiggle peek like this. The hard part is even if you have the mechanics down everything goes to shit when you're in an intense fight and your hands are shaking lmao
Just practice. He's strafing left and right with precise timing to glitch out the inertia system which allows you to change direction back into cover super quickly, and throwing in a quick right lean with it.
@@noviceexpert1715he’s not glitching anything, when you have high level skills, stims, and your under weight then you aren’t affected by inertia as much

One day after a good sim racing session i decided to hop on some r6. I still had my pedals under my desk. After running into this same problem, i downloaded a program to allow me to use my gas pedal as E and my clutch as Q. It has been such a game changer for any FPS including a lean mechanic.

Lol yeah, I have had the same bit happen with me twice inside the marked room near the train hard station barracks on Reserve,
when I already got one stimmy case in the pouch and I find two in that room & I can only pick one up. No buddy with me too on both occasions.

Razer Tartarus is underutilized in my opinion. Been using one since 2014 to play WoW and my hands are too big for a keyboard. It’s really good for peeking in Tarkov since you can use your left thumb on the analog stick while still using WASD to move. The idea of using Q and E to peek sounds utterly insane to me. 😂
So interesting, I've always had lean bound to my side mouse buttons since as far back as PUBG, so I had never even considered that people with lean bound to default Q and E bindings would be unable to circle strafe and lean simultaneously, because I've never played like that.

just switched from console to pc and i’ve been binding as much as i can onto the g502 so i minimize the amount i take my fingers off WASD leaning with mouse is the best thing ive done

I can pretty easily press Q E A D S W combos with 1 finger on 2 keys, which has worked well for me. I'm not as motivated as you to min/max key binds in EFT. I burned myself out on that with super complex scripts in Quake 1 (all comms key bound, plus movement, etc) before we had voice comm many years ago :)

So i have my leans on mouse. I also have a g502 but i can not bind the other buttons in tarkov. if i set the default dpi button as alt it will not hold breath. Tarkov doesnt recognize it in the controls as a button either. Not sure what to do but would love to bind the other buttons on the mouse. How have you been able to do so

Anyone notice that Jesse Kazaam never dies a normal death? It’s always due to a sound glitch, or bug, or magic shot, or lucky nade. The dude complains constantly and just throws a semi-positive pitch onto his griping. His formula: Complain about something and add a chuckle to soften the whining.

At 14:00 how do I bind that in game? I tried looking for the option in logitech hub but it would only allow me to use dpi shift, if I mapped it to for example f13 it would not work either

Iirc you could've picked up that other injectors case using a trick.
You would've put the first one in your backpack, then drop the backpack, put the second one in your gamma, and then pick up the backpack.
The only weird thing about the extra item in the bag is that you can't move it.

Lean on mouse is S-tier , recently made the switch and quickly got use to it now I could never go back , also having smooth lean on Q & E instead is even better
you could set q and e to do something else if you set smooth lean to ctrl + mouse 4/5
Mouse for leans. Q is my tactical and E my scope magnification. Game changer for me.

At what time do you actually explain and teach how to peek?
What I find weird is that you cant really ad strafe with current inertia system in place as it makes it so you cant insta switch direction but when hitting w or s in between all of the sudden you can change direction fast between left and right strafe. That doesn’t make much sense to me and is the reason while circle strafing is meta. Basically pre inertia strafing with extra steps.

I believe this approach is outdated now since they added a left shoulder pivot to reduce exposure during left leaning peeks. Karmakut has it down pat. Trying to figure out best keybinds to use this (I have the same mouse).

Why do you unbind right mouse to aim on your g502 and bind it to ] instead of the normal right mouse button? I dont see why you would need to re-bind right button to aim and then re-bind it to a key and then rebind that key to your right mouse button?
hate to brake it to you but at 9:57 you were able to get the 3rd injector case you just need to make a slot in your bag or rig before being able to put it in your pouch
G502 gang here… mouse scroll wheel tilting left and right is my slow leans. My thumb buttons are quick leans. Can’t change my mind

You can use Q and E if you learn to press 2 keys with one finger. A lot of R6 players do it all the time
but in r6 you wont have stuff like flicking ur light on or off at the same time or circle strafing, so it does get a bit cluttered
@@Locusss Thats the point of using Q n E for leaning. It free's up space for mouse buttons. Tac light and scope zoom is set to my mouse buttons
I got smooth lean right on my mouse button 5. I feel like when it works better with continuous aiming for me.
You can although It’ll be slower. I brought this up with Jesse later on, it is possible but you’re still better off on mouse

Yeah same shit as Jesse, tried throwing a grenade through a bush at a pushing PMC and it for some reason had a hard hitbox and bounced back at me. Made me panic and ended up giving the guy the kill.
id love to bind lean to mouse, but i have two mouse buttons which i use for tactical device and swap shoulder. too many keybinds bruh

Reserve has really bad nade/ doorway interactions, I've seen nades clearly go through the door, backed off the door just in case, and still died to them.

@@NoGenerals well i have about a 7 second hand delay meaning most my fights are preplanned out by me meaning more agressive players tend to win where as those that dont move tend to get knocked over i want to try and get better at the pvp portion though as again agressision has gone up with the recent patch after i get payed ill pay for your coaching if you think you can help regardless of my disablity c: also hi i started watching you after dying to you 4 times learning reserve
Shoulda ditched your original injector case so they are both found in raid. Sell them and buy another when it’s a bit cheaper someone will put one up undercutting

Just swap lean keys, simple. Takes a second to get use to but you can move and lean simultaneously with ease

I play TGFH instead of WSAD. My leans are S and D hit with my pinky.
