Bro I was thinking about buying one thank you for the review! (great one) just a question. how reliable is it? being a 2000's car by now it is 20+ year old.. is it reliable? or did the owner complain about it's reliability? thank you from the Netherlands
As reliable as a Honda EK. That's the best description for it! Just do proper maintenance and watch out for the timing belt intervals. The rest, parts are relatively common except for body panels. Goodluck!
I own one from mei 2022 . Its a awd with cvt automatic. 186.000 KLM on IT Its really a good car to have. One tip if IT shakes by 40miles per hour. Its in the right and left side cvt transmissie haning . Its in rubbers and IT thake the shaking out the car from the disks of the cvt. Easy to replace . Front weels thake of and you see Them and you see the boldt . Dont Worry the engine mounts are on the top you do not need Them to thake out. This it.
@@moazdaza2044 I don't know about the EK but i have HR-V. It's a pretty good daily, low mileage, it was originally my dad's car and he owned it for about 8 years. And for that 8 years he has only done simple things like: changing the battery, changing oil and coolant, replacing brake pads and tires and thats all about it. One time we ran it without coolant for about 20 minutes and its a fucking beast. It doesn't want to die. Just be careful if you buy one because overtime they tend to get very rusty on the outside panels and that has happened to our honda aswell. And one last thing. Never and i mean NEVER NEVER forget to put oil and driver her over 4000 RPM trust me!
@@crustph i wonder how many HR-V similar to ours is still running. Any idea? When I was in Baguio, I used to see two, one was the copper color and one was violet. The copper color met an accident and was declared total wreck and was no longer salvaged as far as I heard. The violet just ‘disappeared’ from the scene.
@@crustph Original rims should have 205/60r16 tires on it. 5*114,3 is really convenient to find other compatible oem honda rims. What size do you have ? I'm in France, and I got 2 HRV GH2 this year. Really good and reliable cars. Congrats and thanks for this video.
I am buying a 2002 HRV 3 door AWD 5 speed manual non-vtec this week! Can't wait. Love your review.

@@crustph I also have an option of buying a Honda Civic 1.4i LS. is the Civic a more reliable car? (generally speaking)
