Thanks for the support Jeremiah. It was great meeting ya!
Great meeting you too!!
I will buy a pair of Hyer boots just to support this young man and his family legacy. That’s awesome.
Congrats to Zach for getting Hyer back! I cant wait to see what they come out with!
What a great story! Best to Zach for bringing back a historic icon!
Best and luck and Godspeed to Zach Lawless and Hyer boots! I'm looking forward to owning a pair!!
I have a book from Jennifer June that I've had signed by several bootmakers. When I was younger, I wanted to have one pair from every bootmaker or boot company, Hyer included, particularly the 1980s boots when they made boots for Larry Mahan. Maybe someday!
Jeremiah, perhaps you can do a part 2 of The return of Hyer boots, explaining how their boots will be made today, compared to the old school Hyer boots. If Hyer is making an entirely new boot with modern plastics and synthetics like Aeriat or some other cheap Chinese knock-offs, then Hyer boots won’t be anything special.
I hope Hyer sticks to their old family tradition and makes the boots like they were back in the day of Roosevelt. Perhaps Hyer would compete with the likes of Chisos boots quality.
They’re going to be made in Mexico by the same factories that make all of the other boots. They’ll be as good as Hyer orders them to be made. With Hyers name on them..These Mexican factories make boots for everyone. Ariat, Tecovas, Stetson, Justin, Lucchese, etc..Hyer will be another boot brand. Not a boot maker. Like they used to be.
@@shawnglass108 That makes sense. Thanks for the 411
What a story!!! Glad everything came together for him and really look forward to what’s coming next with the company.
You gotta love Zach Lawless. His persistence and his dedication. His family must be very proud of him
Always great to hear a brand coming back into the boot market, especially one with lots of history. Look forward to seeing what they make, hopefully you get to try some on soon.
What a neat story! Excited to see them come back and honor the family name.
Excellent & Congratulations! No small feat to get the trademark back from who had it, and that's all I can say here about that. Can't wait to see the launch, and I hope y'all will be making larger sizes available like 14.5 and 15's. Cheers!
I've had 2 pairs of boots made at the Olathe store. First pair I had made in 1965 the other pair is about 10 years younger. I still have them both{the older pair has a little tear in the shoe} and they are still my favorite!
My Dad had a pair of Hyer when I was a kid in the sixties. I just remember they were black pinch toe with fancy uppers.
those black boots with red stitching on the shaft look nice
I’ve owned 2 pair of Hyer boots. Bought them at the factory store in Olathe, Kansas where they were made.
Great news!!
Well this will be some boots 👢 I’ll be purchasing!
Definitely will be looking for these boots!!! Great story too!
I want to know what grandma said when she found out he got the trademark back!?!? What a cool story. Hope they're exceptional quality as I'll look to get a pair, if nothing else but to support the family business.
Howdy from Arlington Texas
Very excited to see what they come out with!!
Awesome video Jeremiah Craig and have a good day.
Cool story and wish him all the best!
It’s great that the Hyer brand is back but they are going to be just another boot brand with their boots built by the same Mexican factories that build all the other Mexican boots that companies put their names on. Hopefully Hyer will have boots built to their specs the right way. The classic old way. Full leathers, leather insoles, full leather stacked heals, etc..These Mexican factories can build incredible boots. Depending on what a brand requests..They can also build synthetic junk if that’s what they’re hired to build. Do not get boot brands confused with boot builders though.
my dad only ever wore Hyer...i just ordered some culvers
I have one pair of hyer boots with riding heel and the tag inside of the shaft is marked Hyer Olathe Kansas... Someone can tell me how old my boots are? Found on eBay 12 years ago, new dead stock...
I called this out on another video. I doubt I’m the only one.
Or anywhere near the first.
I do wonder what route Hyer is going to go. Will they do a RedWing Heritage-like(classic designs)line initially to revive interest in the brand with Hipsters(boot star LA kind of route), and Europeans, then trickle into the actual cowboy/workwear lines, or something direct and more accessible to those wanting a reasonable starting price like Tecovas, where they incorporate new tech inside the boot, but leave the outside in a handmade style? I am curious.
Are you coming to Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio this fall?
I’m just hoping they make 16 inch Stovepipe boots, or I guess traditional if you look at it that way.
This is exiting.
Where are the boots made?
Kick ass, I'll get a pair to Also support this
Keep us posted about Hyer boots.
God bless them💖 🐂
Great video
Are they making these in the USA?
Mexico
Now that these have been released and I have seen one in person, I am not sure how I feel about the pull tabs. It’s not leather and I feel like will be fragile.
Looking at their website I don’t see any round toe boots. That’s disappointing.
"Hi Jeremiah, we understand what you're saying, you're calm and used to videos, but this guy is too nervous, we don't understand anything, he talks too fast! His hands must have been hot, the guy! :-( "
Oh mate, I love these boots, will HYER send boots on order to Australia? I am attempting to order online, I saw some reviews and man they look so good.
I'll buy a pair as soon as you put um on the shelves bubba
Review ariats real deal western boots
Is this social media marketing company ever actually going to sell BOOTS!? And, which factory in Leon will be manufacturing them? 🙄
