looking through comment section i thought i was the only one appreciating tambourine guy, but totally seduced by Juliette. There's something magical about her, i'm unable to tell exaclty, but she stole whole show in my opinion. That's what i call the spirit, be in choirs but gain all focus :D

It's kinda weird how the most visually striking / high-contrast aspect of the scene is one of the background singers. (The redhead in the blue dress, two colors that just stand out from all the shades of brown that make of the rest of the picture).
She was one of the two singers in PMJ's "The boy is mine" (the other one being none other than her sister), and she was STUNNING.
I agree, visually she pops out just from the color contrast compared to everyone and everything else. It isn't until tambourine man shows up that he steals it visually. Thankfully their lead is just a presence that demands your attention. She is just phenomenal.

Shout out to that rock solid bass work! That slur around 0:57 was super satisfying
It's solid, but not melodic like a classic Jamerson Motown line. While I'm not expecting the bassist to be at the same level as one of the best, most iconic players in the history of the instrument, this still isn't really going anywhere close to that style. It's just pumping out root notes along with the chord the vast majority of the time.
It's a critical part of the sound that's often overlooked by non-bassists. Instead we have a part that's too simple for the style. Not bad, but not what it needs to be.

I’d have coordinated. If that had been me I’d have been so upset! It draws attention, and as backup (or generally in a group) it’s so frowned upon. If that happened in my group there would have been hell to pay, and PMJ’s audience is way bigger, lol!
