Thank again! You are very good for my EGO hahaha! These amps are really impressive! Are there better amps out there? Oh for sure. But for the price, you'd be hard pressed to find something than can out do it I think😃
Man you've got that rig sounding great, Jason! I dig it! Smooth but also sort of snarly too for that rock and roll thing. LOL If that makes any sense. I love the Brian Adams sound you get with it. And I would swear at the 11:00 mark or thereabouts... I heard some Company of Wolves. Anyway... and as you continued to dial up the grit, it kept sounding great. It's got some power behind it. Love it. Keep on rockin!
Hey Renato! Greetings from PEI Canada! The Quilter superblock amps are great. Very afforable and great sounding worh or without pedals. I have both the US and the UK versions. They are both awesome! Cheers J
Wow! Thanks Hugh! I hope your experiences are as good as mine. The IYV stuff is great. Cheap componants but good bones! The quilter amps are fantastic! Sold off all of my high end tube amps since I got the SB. It's all I use. Great for home use, and plenty loud for a band. Let me know how you like it 😀 J
Hey SB, I play in a 3 piece band and they are always telling me to turn it down lol! Probably more so because I'm just a fair player haha... but it's plenty loud to keep up with a drummer. The XLR out is great to get a little sound out front for a nice mix in the mains... I love it and the UK as well. They are all I've been using and I just run a 10 inch speaker cab on stage... J
Hey Michael, It definitely does something but to my ears it doesnt sound good haha... The FRFR is very flat sounding no dynamics at all, and the BRT setting is very Trebly with very little low end. So yeah you're probably right. Probably does a better job when lined out or when something like a pod go or HX Stomp is connected to the amp... I always run a cab and the norm setting is absolutely fine😁 J
Haha well I was! That was 4 months into a complete rupture of my achillies tendon, hense the tube sock on my left leg! My fitness training took a a quick halt haha... getting back into it now it's been a year!

Thanks for the video!! I really like my superblock us. Owned and returned the uk, but it was just a preference. I’m used to fender amps. I have a few really nice tube amps that haven’t been turned on in months. Finding the 1w (9v) invaluable for home practice noodling. My dog and neighbors appreciate:) I’ve tried a bunch of pedalboard solutions from digital to analog and the superblock us is my favorite so far… cool guitar. What kind is that?
Hey Thanks Cull D! Yeah these amps are amazingly good. I haven't used anything else I got them haha! The guitar is an EART NK-C1. Got it on amazon for $359 canadian last year. It's got quite a few mods done.. I have vids on the mods as well.. great guitar! Cheers, and enjoy the SB-UK
I agree with you there! Thankfully we moved to a community where lawn care is provided. Several years ago I saw a guy wearing a great t-shirt. The front had several silhouettes of guys pushing lawn mowers. Printed across the top was “The Endless Bummer.”
That amp stand is wild! Did you get that at Guitar Center? Also, limiting and compression are two different things but they act in a similar fashion. I think I'd A-B them and see how the compression sounds alone.
Good Idea for another video! Thanks! Yeah these stands are awesome for cardiovascular health as well! Picked this one up used on facebook market place for a steal! Lol
@@erickarge1838 Thanks! it's a H&K 112 Cab that I modified by cutting an opening in the back and with a speaker ring adapter I mounted a 10 inch Jensen P10R speaker!

J.A.k. yes sir. Crank the volume and dial down the gain and you get real nice cleans. And yes, the super block has a balanced xlr out so you can plug in the board. I had a gig with it tonight. Plenty loud and fantastic with pedals!😁
@@j-man9457 thanks for reply. I opted for interblock 45 - I just read after buying the direct line out does not sound good - so, I ask, can I run the speaker line out into a direct box and then straight into PA channel ? thx!
@@j.a.k.-acousticguitarcover2699 hey I had the Interblock 45, and it too is a great little amp. I sold it after getting my SuperBlocks as they suited my needs better. With the interblock, you can just use the headphone line out for sending the signal to the mixer. Most mixers have a 1/4 inch input as well as XLR, so no need for a DI. Good luck!

I lean towards the UK for the country rock stuff...😀 I've always prefered Vox to Fender for whatever reason. I think it may just have been an EL84 preference although I didn't know it at the time haha... Both amps are good. I have played them both live and had no complaints. The UK just has a bit more bite to my ears and for me that's what I gravitate towards...
Lol! Yes it's all in the socks! It's a compression sock. When I ruptured my achillies tendon back in March, they casted me to tight and stopped circulation. When they figured out what was wrong, my femoral vein was clotted from my ankle to my groin... vein wall is now dammaged so this sock helps keep the swelling at bay! Sucks lol
Haha it really wasn't that loud. I bought this small mic off Amazon. It just plugs into my phone and records the audio. It's very sensitive ut I find it reproduces the sound of the room better than my phone alone.😀
Hahaha sure looks that way 😉 I was just 2 months in recovery from a complete Achilles tendon rupture at the time of this video... Doc had me wear a compression soc to the knee for 10 weeks during physio... This is in fact the sock! Hahaha
