12:10 Actually, in the Japanese original Season 1, there was a _different_ gag with characters referring to the existence of Minnesota. One time when Team Rocket are dressed up as rural farmers, in the original Japanese the costumes and their line are a reference to a Japanese song called Minnesota Eggsellers about a farm girl selling eggs from a basket. So in the anime at least, Minnesota is a real place in both the USA and Japan continuities.

The interesting part about Tepig's line being made into cooked pig in the pokefood drawings is, there's no need, because we already have a pig pokemon named after a cooked pig. There's a Filipino dish called Lechon, which is whole roasted pig. Add one single letter and you get Lechonk!

Honestly even if we don't factor in the Protean nerf, I feel like Skeledirge is even stronger than Greninja was at its prime, and that's saying something, because i love the frog, too

in Single-player, though, you can absolutely get away with using almost any pokemon that you personally like, and Pokemon never really focused as much on competitive as they did an actual single-player playthrough.
Unless you're using an Unown, i think the quote's perfectly valid from that perspective, i'm just making fun of the meme putting *Skeledirge* in that column
2:10 well we know for a fact a few characters are separate such as Grunty Boi who commonly interacts with Michael and other characters. We also see Team Sky’s Leader in a separate location than Michael in his recent incredibly hard challenge video, naturally this would extend to Team Night Sky’s leader
On the other hand we actively see Michael transform into Milkman Mike after a small existential crisis realising he’s ‘been playing a character this whole time’. This proves that some characters are actually played by Michael but we don’t know for certain which ones unless we see them separate or talking to OG Michael. This includes Dr Fuse, Orange & several type specialists.
I theorise that after Grunty Boi arrived Michael saw success with having ‘different hims’ and hired Sky Mikey to record a video in exchange for giving a platform for Team Sky to spread its notoriety. However it wouldn’t be feasible to do this for every video so for other challenges he’d play a character. The similar appearance Mikey & Grunty Boi have is either coincidence or so that we can only know the difference between Michaels characters if we see them by themselves.
TL:DR - Grunty Boi, Team Sky Mikey & by extension Night Sky Mikey are separate people, Milkman Mike is a confirmed character Michael plays and the rest fall in either category but we won’t know until they are seen separate from Michael or we see Michael change into them
Or, some have split off from him and are now their own entities.
But that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY
I would assume that the type specialists are characters that he plays, because they are nonrecurring, are just labeled as the ___ gym leader, and do not seem to follow a specific code. The exception to this is Magic Mike, because he acts specifically different, has a separate name, and is not recognized by Grunty Boi (as far as I remember). Milkman Mike, however yes has a different name, his personality is the same, except for one small difference, that being that he likes Miltank.
Following suit, Orange seems more like a separate person, due to again, the significant personality shift, the change of name, this time far more completely, and is again, not recognized.
every now and then, michael goes through some time space shenanigans, like going back in time for legends arceus. i would imagine these events occasionally cause personas to be forcibly separated into their own beings due to paradoxes or something.

just have ground types fire off one by one, even if some lions survive you still have every single flying type/levitate pokemon left to deal with them, since they were immune to the earthquakes.

My Mikey lore theory: Mikey is a Divine Being who has been split somehow into many souls and bodies, becoming more players and splitting as needed. One day, there will be so many Mikeys that they can split no more, and they will either all die out or be absorbed into the original. The “Never The Selves Shall Meet” rule might be in effect, we don’t know for sure since the Mikeys have never touched each other. Either way, I want to see a Mandjtv Crisis On Infinite Earths. (Orange would make a great Anti-Monitor).

Perhaps orange could want to become champion in every region, that way his series can go on forever. (It also fits his charicter pretty well.)
Clearly Mikey created a special stable wormhole between alternate universes/dimensions using his engineering knowledge mixed with luck and a secret partner who Mastered Advanced Physics. Each different "character" is actually an alternate univese version of himself. Most go back to their universes after they appear here on this channel. However, certain individuals like Team Sky/Team Nightsky stick around longer same for Grunty Boi. 2:23

Grunty Boi is alternative personality that Michael can communicate to as if he were a separate person but really a figment of Michael's imagination however said alternative personality can take control of Michael's body and do things without Michael being aware (since it happens in Michael's subconscious)

I think I solved the lore on the Mikey variants. Each one is a version of Mikey from a different universe. This was confirmed for DR Fuse in the Fusion episode of Team Sky.

There’s actually more to that Ditto than most people realize. In the Adventures manga, Green uses a Ditto as a mask, and basically becomes a master of disguise. So she’s doing the same thing to stalk Team Sky Mikey, but is using Orange’s Ditto.
Took me a sec on the Poison/Fighting type meme, but I believe that Craig is most likely a trainer's Croagunk named Craig from the Sinnoh anime, one episode about an Croagunk festival, if memory serves me right.

There's a cutscene in US/UM that triggers after defending your title against Gladion. Mohn is at aether paradise and talks to lusamine for a bit, says its nice but that he doesn't remember coming here before. He leaves, then Gladion appears and asks Lusamine if she's fine leaving him like that, and she replies that Mohn looks happier this way.
I think if we can accept having all the other Mikeys, we can accept having both Team Sky and Team Pixie Dust

10:48 They sure did stop, and I recently did a scarlet playthrough where I didn't fight a single ingame trainer that wasn't required for the story. Gained all my exp from wild pokemon, wild item/raid exp candy and story battles- didn't even need that many raids, and barely grinded on wild pokemon. Easily ended up at a comparable level to the ai professor. I will never advocate for Pokemon becoming an uber-difficult game, but the amount of work you have to put in to curate your own difficulty in recent games is insane.

Fun fact: the color doesn't actually matter. Bulls can't even see red, iirc. It will charge at any cape you flutter like that because it's trying to kill the bullfighter (because, you know, they've been slowly torturing it the entire show). The reason they use red capes is to hide the bull's blood.
