I did Latin, History and Classical Civilisation A-level, and to answer your other question...to be honest I was quite vague: I think I wrote something about looking forward to the opportunity of learning about lots of new things and being excited to see where Classics will take itself in the future!
hi! this is such a useful video, thank you. can i ask what you wrote about mary beard's confrotning the classics? i've just finished it and loved it, but am finding it really difficult to analyse since it's essentially a big collection of book reviews.
I think it still might be worth mentioning 1 or 2 extra-curricular things in the actual personal statement itself, just to give the impression straight away of you having balance in your life (but that's just me personally!); but I'm sure if you only wanted to include them in the teacher reference you could do that too!

I’m doing work experience at a local Roman Villa in their museum - would this be classed as extra or super curricular?
