Everything about this episode is fantastic. The car, your contagious enthusiasm, the videography, the voice over. This absolutely is *the* video that marks the next chapter of the channel/build; moving from straight fab time to tracking, breaking, and overall improvement.
Seriously, congrats man. I'm so stoked for you. I can't even imagine how pumped you are or how you're even able to sleep with that much excitement added to your life.
And make sure Anthony knows how great he did! I'd love to see him become a staple of the channel, letting you do your thing without having to worry about repositioning a camera every 5 minutes.

If you look at most race cars built the good old way, they all start slow and underpowered because there's little software simulation behind them. But that's the beauty of it, finding the limit for yourself and the magic connection with the car, like you know every bolt and how it'll turn in any corner. So never get demotivated.
Since it'll never be perfect there's always something new for we to do.

As a former racing instructor, I can tell you that adjusting your braking point is the last thing you need to do. Get everything else fast and perfect before you start braking mega late. The reason for this is because blowing through the braking zone can ruin your entire exit out of the corner and your entire lap, so… don’t stress about pushing those brake zones. You’re doing great!

I myself know nothing about building cars other than in videogames (I'm neither a pro fabricator nor driver, sadly), but even if I had zero interest in cars whatsoever, just knowing how long this project has taken... Im equally happy for both the 244GTK and Mike , and for what the future will have in store for them...

I'm so glad you went full racecar. It's so few drivers/teams that are good at documenting from behind the scenes.

It was great seeing this car at the track and meeting with you (briefly). I've been following this build since day one and it's nice to see you getting it out and running it.

Stoked for you, great job. I have similar Quaife sequential. When you get another track session, try using left foot for braking and no clutch on shifts. Takes a while to learn but pays off with smoothness/ speed

I found your channel when you were on like episode 5 of this build. Its been soooo long in the making, its so awesome to see you so incredibly siked with how well it did. Considering the only thing that broke was a cople dollar clamp id say the only way it could've gone better is if nothing had broken at all which is pretty unrealistic lol. Congrats on finally getting to rip it, cant wait to see it at its (or your's) peak performance

I'm so glad you used this sentence for the title, now I'm sure you're reading our comments. According to my calculations, the "Ferrda" goes from 0-60 in about 3 seconds, and in the future it will probably go under 3s. I share your enthusiasm because I build an Opel Calibra myself. Many greetings from Serbia! ;-)

I've been following since the V8 was removed. And yes, there were times I didn't think this would get finished too! But I was rebuilding my street/track car, and this was inspiration to finish my build. Congrats, my friend!

i know the scary feeling! I just rebuilt my TDI 86 4runner mid travel and then moved 600 miles towing my camper 😂 nerve racking to say the least, but only lost a boost clamp in the middle of nowhere Oregon. It's people like you thank inspired me to build my daily, so thank you

I don't see heaps of youtubers putting professional drivers in their projects to show what's left on the table.
It's usually a cool perspective and i always find the content highly valuable.

Anybody else just smiling uncontrollably during the entirety of this video? So fucking pumped for you Mike, this is an unbelievable achievement. Can't wait to see you dial in the car 100% and know all of its quirks like the back of your hand and watch you beat the balls off this car!!
