This video is great. I am wondering if it's possible to install the audi new steering wheel (round one) to the car that has this type of connector. Can you please help out
Hi, I would like to ask if the wires are connected in the yellow airbag connector of A3 8p in the same way as in the connector of A3 8y? Because I want to install an 8y steering wheel in my 8p, but the airbag connectors are a little different, I should change them, I'm just not sure about the order of the wires. Thank you!
Hello, is there a way to take out the cables to switch them around? I want to install a new steering wheel but I need to change the cables the same way that they are placed in my actual steering wheel...
There is a 8 minutes video. It describes how to make your self an airbag cable for mfsw. How to take out the wired pins from the yellow plug. Read here: www.audi.homeradiatorsreview.com/airbagcable.html

Bogdan Tiberiu Nichiforiuc Is it the part in the video when you’re using a toothpick and a pin to push out the purple piece which allows you to insert the 2 pinned wires? Does the purple piece allow for the wires to come out? I have an A5 Sportback 2012.. Hopefully the yellow and orange plug is similar or the same as your A3.

Yes, that is the part. The yellow plug can has a different colour for A5, but same you need a toothpick.
