10/10 video its such a joy to recognize others projects in different videos. You are a man among men getting your 300zx working in such a short time and driving it such a distance.
any advice when bolting the manual bellhousing on? the bottom half are going in real easy but the top ones are either a struggle to thread in and i have one that dosent want to thread in at all.
Tighten all the bolts that you can, then back them out 1 or 2 turns to align the block/bellhousing and then you should be able to snake your arm in and hand thread the tops to start them. Then 3 foot of extension w/swivel from the rear, or I prefer 1.5 ft w/swivel from the side of the gearbox. The battery ground goes on the top passenger bellhousing bolt if you did not know 🙂
Have you swapped out the coolant pipes on yours? Mines a 91 an every time I drive it seems to blow a pipe. New timing belt water pump thermostat an it’s still blowing pipes. How bad is it to change them all looked online an there’s loads of coolant pipes on the 300 zx twin turbo.
Yea original hoses on a twin turbo are definitely bound for replacement. It gets hot under the hood haha. You can delete the plenum coolant lines and run 4x hoses from turbos to heater core pipes, 2x heater core hoses, radiator overflow hose, 2 coolant bypass hoses(on front hardpipes) and 2 radiator hoses should be all you need.
@@NedacSnosrap awesome! I’ll look into that didn’t know I could. I’ve just ordered a complete new set of silicone hoses for it and a mishimoto thermostat hoping that will solve my issues. Well solve that one issue. Then on to the next one. Thanks for the help bud appreciate that!

I think you need a 3 ft long extension with a swivel on the end. If you have enough extensions to snap together that might work.

You coming to the Dayton Z show next weekend?
I've not heard about it! I'll see if I can work something out.
Why E85? Isn't that a dirtier fuel?
It burns better and is less prone to detonation with the high compression bottom end.
Found your channel recently and enjoy it a lot👌. Curious what camera you use for your footage?
Welcome!🙏
I've currently been using the go pro hero 9 black for all videos to date.
