great work, but why didnt you pre-drill the crank sprocket??? 2x m8x1.25 bolt holes would have made it way easier next time it has to come off. Have you ever thought about LS swapping it?

Do you know ANYONE in the Dallas area that can work on my Nissan 300zx tt. I cannot find anyone to do my timing belt and a few other things. I know this is a long shot but I don’t know what else to do!

6:06 😬 yup. That happened to me. Right on that left side cam gear. Pulled my index finger right between it and the gear next to it. That shit fucking hurt Also, i wish i knew what i was doing with my tensioner. I did NOT do that right. Hopefully it holds together fine even though its i think 2 mil or so out of spec.

Just did the heater core on mine. I NEVER want to do it again, took 3 hours to get it out after i had already gotten the dash out and just spent over 40 minutes to get it back into place. though i did find that pesky plate that holds the wiring harness so easy removal in the future.

My question is. How long you been building those kind of 300zx motors.

My 90 TT has extremely low compression on cylinders 4 and 6, and I was dreading pulling the engine. I watched this video a few times and was able to get everything pulled in about 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon. The stripped block and heads are at the machine shop and I'll hopefully start the rebuild soon. Thanks for the awesome content, your video was a huge help.

So close to getting that engine back into the car. Great video again! Keep it up!
