Before this, i never knew about fighting alongside rival in double battle against the dragon masters. But i'm amazed you didn't add the celebi event that shows that giovani is rival's dad, as well as giving psychic legendary
There’s a simple explanation for that: I had no idea! You just blew my freaking mind! It’s funny because literally just yesterday I was looking up Giovanni on bulbapedia to see his move set in leaf green, and I saw that he was a trainer in Soul Silver, which seemed a bit weird to me because I I never fought him before. But now I know why. I will 100% do that in my next Johto remake run, that’s awesome!
missed a crucial opportunity to joke about the fan club president being a pervert because of how he talks about pokemon so kudos for that (it might sounds random but I swear it's one of the favorite jokes for a nuzlocker's, "this npc is doing something slightly weird or innocuous so it must be a kink thing" so glad to see someone not make the joke. even unintentionally

For sure! The whole reason I started this channel is because I started binging Flyghons videos a little over a year ago, and like the concepts so much I had to try it.
Yeah I was making fun of the fact that to get meditite in SS you need to play Sinoh Sound on the radio, and not Hoenn Sound for reasons that make no sense.
One event you might not know about is if you bring the special event celebi to the shrine in ilex forest, you be transported back in time to three years before right after Giovanni is defeated by red. Silver confronts him, heavily implying the fan theory of Silver being his son to be true. And then you go forward in time to during the team rocket takeover of the radio tower, where in a room behind the actual waterfall in Tohjo falls is Giovanni listening to the broadcast. You fight him, and after ypu beat him, he leaves and you hear a loud "splash" "which leads to the theory he committed suicide but that's just a theory". After that you're brough back to the present. That room is there even without the event but it's empty save for the radio. I still have my event celebi I got back in the day so whenever I playthrough heartgold again I use it for this. :) There's also a spiky eared pichu event but I don't know much about that one because i didn't get that event Pokemon.
too bad you didn't show the johto version of raquaza, that needs both a johto groudon and a johto kyogre to unlock. Neat part 2 to the psychic only johto run
