However, I think the regular undercutting and commenting on the contrived or silly parts of Pokémon Black is more than tired. These games have been out for over a decade, and grown adults making fun of a virtual pet fighting simulator has been done to death. It takes away from why I came to watch the video, and undercuts your smart playing and the story you create.
Thanks for the watch, and yeah I totally get where you’re coming from. Only thing i criticized is all of the gym leader battles having 3 Pokémon each. I thought they would’ve had at least 5 in the later part of the game. Lastly, i think it’s ok if your Pokémon faint to trainers that don’t yield experience (Battle Tower, etc.)
@@NuzlockeJoe They wanted to showcase the fact that they ramp up when you re-challenge them in the post-game, where they now all have 6 Pokemon. But yeah, they really should have had 5 each...

Wasn't easy, I spent most of the game with only 4 to 6 Pokemon with nothing in my box as everything kept dying! Irrelevent ramblings aside, that was a fun one. I never played any game newer than Emerald, now I'm thinking I should try hardcore nuzlocking Platinum. Well, I would actually say it wasn’t easy. I mean, I only took like 6 hours to beat the second gym, or something like that lol. In this run though, once I got my moxie Pokémon, it was all over.
Wait just a minute... why is Vader throwing Sand at anyone... Unless maybe she's unleashing her hatred of that coarse rough and iritating substance and making others suffer through it?
Yeah it does take a long time. I think in the future I will, because I inevitably will get those items anyway. I mean, how dare you tell me to cheat! Next you’ll be telling me to get rare candies, or look at walkthroughs! /s
I will only say this, you really don't have to feel bad about the normal gym as it's considered one of the hardest fights in the game. Well, as long as someone doesn't bring a fighting type that is but it can still prove to be very difficult due to them using powerful stab moves and remember that there aren't many pokemon in the early game that can outspeed a watchog naturaly.
@@NuzlockeJoe I can certainly understand that, though it feels like you're gonna have a treat if you try going for a black or white 2 run...you'll see when you do go about playing them.

It sounds totally acceptable to me that you do not count deaths in the battle train as real deaths; I do not think anyone does in nuzlockes. As you say, these are not real battles because you earn no experience.
I'm a year late, but IK 100% what is the hardest part cause I have done this challenge, THE START, Purrlion sucks and you can't get a 2bd pokemon till after gym 2 and the entire forest
Damn My man just killed Unova Even if normal type wanted to make a fool out of you 😂😂😂😂 I think the train thing is a good one you should keep it. Nuzlocke players don't bother to do it that's a shame imo

Doing train battles for items is fine either way it’s hard getting battle point from there. Cheat and use action replay no complains here either
That’s a good point, and it does help me feel better. Cuz Man, that fight was rough
@@NuzlockeJoe I can certainly understand that, though it feels like you're gonna have a treat if you try going for a black or white 2 run...you'll see when you do go about playing them.
Clay is also one of the hardest fights and certainly would have been without the choice scarf
Caitlun wants to show you her Flower 😳
Uhh, I don’t rambler that happening. We playing the same game lol
@@NuzlockeJoe When her bed opened up before you fight her
You forgot the rockside tm. I would have been more useful than smackdown.
For some reason, the Unova region never really clicked for me. I just didn't like the visuals at all compared to the games before and after it, and I also never saw the anime's Gen 5 seasons. I'll have to give it another shot at some point.
Things you can say in pkm and porn "he got down to only a single dig" 14:04
hey i see you do well in black why don't play pokemon white 2 only bug type
I might, in a day or two I’ll make a poll about what to do in Gen B part 2, so be sure to voice your opinion there!
@@NuzlockeJoe ok
Your mispronunciations of Pokémon names are vast in abundance. It’s impressive.
Good vid though :)
Thanks! At one point I just decided to say screw or, and call them whatever I wanted. There are still a few I’m surprised I complete messed up, like purloin for example, my own starter. You can tell I don’t have a ton of experience with these mons lol.
now, dark types part two in unova 2
That’s what I was planning on doing, but apparently everybody wants Bugs in White 2
Yeah if I knew what was in store, I might not have done it
Damn
My man just killed Unova
Even if normal type wanted to make a fool out of you 😂😂😂😂
I think the train thing is a good one you should keep it. Nuzlocke players don't bother to do it that's a shame imo
Never thought normal Pokémon would be that tough lol
@@NuzlockeJoe [Enter] Norman and Whitney
Yeah, thats a fair point. That roll outing cow wrecked my so many times growing up
How dare u not play them I can't even be mad I ain't play Gen 3 but made up I'm the remakes
Oh man, you’re certainly missing out!
Could have faked out the Conkledurr after he missed and then Ariel aced
So fake out only works on the first turn your Pokémon comes out. It unfortunately doesn’t become usable again when the opponent sends out somebody. That would be nice though.
The first gym will be hardest!
Aaaand it was easy
Adler 🤣🤣🤣
Yep, I’m dyslexic sometimes apparently
I played black when I was 6 I’m surprised that you of all people haven’t played it yet 😂
Well now I feel really old. I was in college when it came out!
Play White 2 with poison Type Only
I might. In a few days I’ll put out a poll to see what type of run I do in gen V part 2. Be on the look out!
Finally
Yeah, it took a bit longer than I had initially thought lol
Comment for the algorithm
Star Wars theme names.
Yep! I thought it went well with the whole Dark theme.
lol mispronounce everything. I love it
Believe it or not, only a few of those were intentional, the rest just chalk up to being unable to read or something
Why was this a ad?
SImple, I made it an ad! I'm just trying it out to see if Ads will help me grow, or if its just a waste of money. This is my test run to see how it goes.
@@NuzlockeJoe oh ok
It’s not supposed to have nostalgia , it’s a soft series rest
Goofy ahhh
Dude pronounce the characters and Pokémons names right holy cow
Rude
My na is Michael to
Did you really need to throw in the part about this game being 12 years old bro? 😂 I'm 23 stop making me feel old
You think you’re old? I played red when it came out! I came home from elementary school to watch the first season as it aired!
@@NuzlockeJoe I bow to you ancient one 😂
Please don't cuss, especially with holy.
Look, I get we’re you’re coming from, but I did not curse in this video. Or in any of them, actually. As far as Pokémon TH-camrs, I’m probably one of the cleanest ones you’re going to find.
@@NuzlockeJoeI appreciate not cussing but saying crap or damn as a reaction is cussing even with it not being bad to say, in other context.
Genoner
Is that pointing out one of the many things I mispronounced?
1st :)
*cringes at every mispronounced Pokemon name*
