As I put in the description and the pinned comment, this music isn't meant to be related to The Final Shape or any fight against The Witness. This was a fan-made album for an imaginary expansion that doesn't exist. You're meant to make up your own story to go alongside this music. :)
Imagine if the Witness' final form was a gigantic Overload Tormentor. "And that, kids, is the moment the entire Destiny community burned down Bungie HQ. Except Esoterickk, whom the final boss actually ran AWAY from . . . " XD Great soundtrack!
"You weren't there, Guardian, at the beginning of our great journey together. But it is fitting that you are here at its end. When your Traveler came to us, it showed us a vision of confluence; a beautiful garden for us to sow. It gave us power to wield, but not an answer of why. When it fled, we saw many skies burn before we found the Gardener. We chose our destiny; we are the Winnower of the Garden. Submit to the final shape, guardian. You will see the garden that was always meant to be."
this is honestly amazing i love how you took some of destiny's old elements and put them in here and the final stands and dsp phases are just unique great job honestly if i was a game studio that does what destiny does i would hire you
The final boss theme of this is not what I expected. It tracks that the final boss theme for the light and dark saga should have a triumphant, loud and proud theme of overcoming adversity, but the way that you subverted that with a cathartic, melancholy tune really struck a cord with me. It's gave me the feeling of a group doing something that they know must be done, but taking those final steps is difficult. It reminds me of the feeling I get from what many guardians may feel going into that final raid, taking down the witness and putting an end to the light and darkness saga, something that's been a part of many of our lives for a decade. P.S. the way that you build the themes through phases just like the "total action" versions of d2 tracks is really good touch that makes them feel genuine like something that could be straight from the game.
Hate to be that guy but the music lacks the struggle and tension between the guardian and foe. It feels more like strike/patrol music, more on the calming side and less on the struggle between foes. The guardian leitmotifs seems to be largely absent too so maybe having parts of them swell up in encounters would be a nice touch. Overall still a great listen for destiny themed music.
All of my memories with Destiny flashed before my eyes when round 3 of the final encounter started. No, I'm not crying (can't see the screen because of my tears)
"Diffracted Truth" which is a track that plays in Root of Nightmares is a track heavily tied to The Traveler. The melodies and palette material in it was something I wanted to reuse in this album because of the ties to The Traveler.
The third encounter's final stand sounds like it would give you a hero moment like in D1 Oryx fight. The rest of the team are dead and you are getting shot from all directions but you know if you fall then it is a wipe. You grab a darkness orb and bless yourself in light and run towards the boss and explode yourself into a Taken mess but the boss is defeated, and you are the hero of your fireteam... until the final encounter, where all of this courage and bravery leads up to. You know it is your Destiny to defeat the final boss. Their death will be the final shape of themselves.
DPS first half is an excellent feeling. The whole time we’ve been fighting the witness it’s been 1 sided, this track makes it feel like we’re evening the odds. We taking an unfair fight, and changing it around. It also feels like an excellent send off to destiny as a whole. Excellent work!
*_Encounter 1_* The Ecliptic Brood Three Hive Guardians using Darkness Powers (Stasis, Deepsight, Strand) barr the entrance to the Witness. The guardians must push through the gauntlet, being sure to use the correct darkness power to match the Ecliptic Hive's. Three relics would spawn. A Glacial Spear, The deepsight pool and the strand tangle. The Tangle and the Spear must be brought to one of two Subjugators of the corresponding element. Deepsight would be used to determine which enemy is correct. Rinse and repeat three times. ------- *_Encounter 2_* Fight against the brood The Knight "Xel'reks, Of the Frozen Claw". The Acolyte "Fhaals, Of the Bleak Wire". And the Wizard "Myieva, of the Expanded Mind" Each share one health pool. The encounter works similarly to the first. needing to use deepsight to figure out which of either Fhaals, Myieva or Xel'reks will wipe the raid. Only the way to obtain deepsight would be different. Similar to the deathspeaker encounter. a random player will be torn into an ascendant plane. While in this plane they must run to the wizards image, channelling deepsight, and steal it. However they will be pursued by an invulnerable Tormentor in a perpetual chasing state. if they are caught, they will die. Once deepsight is obtained, they will be thrown back into the physical plane, and the order to interrupt would be highlighted in one dot, two dots or three dots above each hive guardian. They will summon orbs of their power above them. shooting them will interrupt them, but shooting the wrong one will cause an instant wipe. Once interrupted, damage phase begins. Every player will damage the interrupted guardian as much as possible. Then they will attempt again. Shoot the second one, and then the third one. Rinse and repeat until final stand. In Final Stand, they will summon their orbs again. A deepsight pool will spawn in the middle of the room. Each guardian will be given either Stasis, Strand or Deepsight Resonance. they must shoot the hive guardian with the corresponding element. Trying to shoot any other or shooting without resonance would only show immune values. With all 3 interrupted at once, players can damage whomever until they eventually die. When dead, the hive guardians ghosts will attempt to revive their guardians only to be split into pieces the same way the ghost was in the lightfall cinematic. Killed by the witness. *_"FAILURE..."_* Encounter end. ------- *_Encounter 3_* "Cayde-6, Avatar of Light" The traveller sends an avatar of itself. in the form of Cayde. Seeking to test the guardians before they face the witness. *_"I gotta see if you're up to the job of deep sixin' the big guy. What do you say, kiddo?"_* In this encounter, Taken will spawn. Wizards will spawn too, each at certain points of the room each with different elemental shields. These will have symbols on the ground. Arc, Solar, Void. Collecting enough taken essence from slain taken will allow players to dunk the essence into a dial, these dials will select the wizard on a plate and selecting another plates dial will swap that wizard onto that plate, with the other going to where the first was. Once each wizard is on the plate whos element matches their shield, they will begin casting their rite, dropping Cayde's shield. *_"Good! Smarter than you look! Lets see if you're sturdy too!!"_* Cayde will summon a golden gun, either of solar, arc or void energy, and target a random player, they have to hide behind a wizard of that same shield. All the while, players can damage cayde. Once all three wizards are dead, he will raise his shield for phase 2 Phase 2 will play out with a dilemma. This time, the wizards have Darkness element shields. The key here is to turn taken essence into Bright essence. They way to do this is to collect taken essence then let Cayde "Stomp" you. this will convert dark energies to light. Depositing bright essence will turn the darkness element shield into a light one. Then players can swap the wizards to the plate. Final Stand plays out with cade summoning knives. Much like rhulks encounter he walks freely, shooting at players and throwing blade barrages. The travellers light will also charge up, wiping the raid if they take too long defeating Cayde. *_"You can overcome this, kiddo!! I KNOW you can!!"_* Finally when his health depletes, Cayde would yield. *_"Good... You're ready... Go show them what guardians are made of... I'm proud of you all..."_* Encounter end
I love how the music gets more and more ethereal the closer you get to the final encounter, it gives you a sense that the final boss won't be something necessarily evil or good but a natural force trying to turn the universe into the Final Shape™️
"I've awaited your arrival, guardian. God-killer. Kingslayer. Tamer of the dark. Master of the light. You fight so hard, yet at what cost? Your feeble minds cannot comprehend my power. For whatever I wish to be, I simply command it"
I really like that fact that you tie in a lot of different themes, for example there are moments where I feel like I am back in the valley of the kings on mars, then I am taken to a titanic battle against the darkness.
Right after landing I can just hear within a 10 second window... • "Eyes up Guardian." • Public event triggered. • Heroic event triggered. • Heroic event completed. • 20 sparrows spawn/leave. • 7 Shriekers and an Ogre about to volley my position. • F*ckme.jpg
“Defenders of light, have you heeded my words for salvation? Or come to destroy the very thing that will save you.. no matter. I will be waiting little lights”
I can only imagine the screen effects during final stand. Our hud glitching and screen corrupting as the witness attempts to sever our connection to the light for good. And our screen slowly fades to black for the final stand wipe. Damn...
@6:30 through the end of this section, you could have added the neomuna theme into it, signifying our realization of the witness's plan and how we discovered the way inside the Traveler ❤
The final encounter music is not what I would expect, and that’s what makes it great. It evokes a sense of melancholy to the player’s 10 year journey coming to an end and the determination of our Guardian. It fits very well.
Ikora: "Guardian, This is it. The final battle between light and dark. Find the witness... and put an end to this 'salvation' he calls. Not just for humanity but for the Traveler."
@@Lorentz_Driverhavent listened to it all yet. I hope the end of witnesses theme is the guardian's theme except its loud triumphant and majestic with forge ahead in there!!
Absolutely beautiful work, just this alone rekindled my love for Destiny. I just wish the game was in a better state for me to continue playing it. I know the raid OST may not sound like this but you did an amazing job capturing what it could be like. Props to you 100%
You have followed the Witness into the Traveler, but instead of luscious lands, it is of fire, lava, and egregore. You still have your light and able to wield it, but this is not the Traveler from days of old. Your Ghost is impacted by the Witness, and speaks through them, "Defenders of Sol, Guardians of Light, this is your end, the time to end the lies that your savior have brought upon you, hear our words, and suffer the consequences." When Ghost regains control, you and him look in the distance and see many of the Witnesses soldiers and, a new one as well. It forms out of the egregore. Spiraling, twisting, breaking, and forms... a Guardian, but not just a guardian of light, but of darkness as well. It looks like you, moves like you, fights like you, and uses the same powers as you use in the moment, Void, Solar, Arc, Stasis, Strand, either one that you choose, they choose and use as well. You and Ghost ready yourself, for the "Final Fight"
bungie should hire breshi in all honesty. this music feels like a more modern rendition of destiny ost while still keeping the things that make it feel unique.
I know everyone keeps interpreting this as a witness raid, but to me it feels more like an alternate timeline lightfall with the vocals. I'll admit, I skimmed through it, but the melancholic vibe of the last encounter almost brings to mind a fight against some embodiment of the traveler, perhaps living up to the name of the expansion and wounding it, or even killing it to slow the witness down or take its power for ourselves to be able to match the witness, with the final shape taking place within the corrupted husk of what was once our god. Would pretty much mean the series would have to end or kill off our current guardian after though. I mostly just wish that raids were a bigger deal story wise, I think. Glad the raid is gonna be against the witness, even if we'll probably finish it off for good in a post raid mission.
LightFall Alternative Raid On Neomuna. Name: Palace Of The Dethroned First Encounter: Purge The Nightmares. Upon Entering The Room Calus's Voice Booms Through The Room. "You've Finally Arrived Guardians, You May Have Bested Me In That Tiny Arena, But My Witness Enacts It's Final Shape, Embrace Your End, But Have Fun While You're At It..*Laughs*." *Upon Round 1 Completion* Calus: "*hearty laugh* Just as tenacious and destructive as ever guardian...MORE!" Round 2 Begins Upon Round 2 Completion Calus: Yes! Yes! ONCE MORE! Defeat Tormentors. Upon Encounter Clear. Calus: "*Laughs* that was a delightful treat to watch, But you must face an even greater challenge, will your light shine through or will I watch you get snuffed out." [Just a concept] if anyone wants to timestamp or add to this I'd love to see where this leads.
I wonder what the encounters could be due to the music? Lemme ramble a bit. First one could be us unlocking the gate to the tower that the Witness resides in(obviously). But before that we hear a message from Cayde, giving us good luck and how he believes in us and if we fail here we're pretty much screwed. No pressure whatsoever amiright? The Witness then starts monologuing to us about how we will fail and the Second Collapse will happen...but we are welcome to try to take it down. Second encounter could be the Witness' Champion...let's just say a Light and Dark infused Subjagator that has very little control over its powers(Like Nezarec of course). It could fuse Stasis and Solar together for a nice combo but it ultimately fails to understand how each of them work. Or we could go to how it quickswaps between the two Light and Dark Elements. But of course we use our mastery of both to deal with it as it fails to master it. The Traversal Section should give us a view of the Pale Heart or the view of Earth through the Pale Heart, showing what we are fighting for and the consequences of what happen if we fail here in this very moment. The Witness here could talk about how we are relishing or taking this moment in and it could mock us or saying that we will see a new beginning soon. That is not what we want and we keep pushing forward. The Third Encounter...I really want it to be a Vow of the Disciple Third Encounter, making our way through hordes of enemies getting to the center of the Tower...where we see a view of the boss area where the Witness is waiting. We could use the items we gathered from raids over the years again, that could be cool. But if it was a boss, I'd be ok with that too. We could put a reformed Black Heart that the Divisive Vex and Taken made together. It buffs them to be invincible or whatever and we have to take it down by using throwing that power back into its face. Of course we move onto the last section, where the Witness takes places and is just sitting there with its arms in its usual position. It starts monologuing about how we will fail or compliment us on how we succeed on taking out Rhulk, its First Disciple. But, the Witness knows that he was cocky and that is where he failed so its not going to hold back. When we get to the DPS Phase, or get through with it, we could hear how it is getting more irritated as time passes. The Witness should have been one step ahead of us throughout the fight, but due to our sheer will and mastery or both light and dark we are overpowering it. And then when the Witness is irrate, it should turn into that black substance full of hands like what we saw in the trailer and also what Calus saw. It throws everything it has at us and it keeps failing, causing it to resort to the final stand where it is charging up an existence erasure blast making us remind us that it is starting the Second Collapse here and now and if we fail here, it's over. So at the end we use the actual Light and Darkness to finally defeat it. And as it falls we hear the screams and cries of the Witness, knowing it failed it's mission of a Second Collapse and then there is a giant explosion which then will turn into nothing afterwards. At the end while you gather your loot and celebrate with your friends you can take a good look at Pale Heart or Earth(Hell maybe the whole Solar System coming back) reminding you that what you did today will go down in history. That's all I've got, just wanted to think about and ramble on about what's going to happen in Final Shape. It ain't perfect, obviously. Just an observation.
I don't know about ya'll, but i felt some Endwalker in the more melancholic parts of some of the fight themes. It would be freaking awesome if we had to fight The Gardener to prove once and for all that guardians make their own fate. Also noticed that the darkness leitmotif is slowly phased out as you would progress in the raid, which would make sense I suppose.

As I put in the description and the pinned comment, this music isn't meant to be related to The Final Shape or any fight against The Witness.
This was a fan-made album for an imaginary expansion that doesn't exist. You're meant to make up your own story to go alongside this music. :)
35:03 this part reminds me of a Journey a lot
Now I wanna hear what you can do with Loud brass instruments and aggressive strings. The corner stone of every high tension destiny boss themes.
24:25 DAYUM THIS IS SO GOOD WTF LOL THIS COULD LEGITIMATELY BE RAID MUSIC
Imagine if the Witness' final form was a gigantic Overload Tormentor.
"And that, kids, is the moment the entire Destiny community burned down Bungie HQ. Except Esoterickk, whom the final boss actually ran AWAY from . . . "
XD
Great soundtrack!
Thank you so much for the feedback and spending the time to listen through!
If bungle doesn’t hire you, we riot
hello?
yes
They'd only fire him anyway
This
third encounter is against Zavala
All of my memories with Destiny flashed before my eyes when round 3 of the final encounter started. No, I'm not crying (can't see the screen because of my tears)
This. I hace the same time travel in memories of this beautiful game
@@Mikhelozfor real... what a journey it was
wow
this is really good
that traversal music heavily resembles root
"Diffracted Truth" which is a track that plays in Root of Nightmares is a track heavily tied to The Traveler. The melodies and palette material in it was something I wanted to reuse in this album because of the ties to The Traveler.
@@Breshi123 it’s really good btw like i can see this in game
*_Encounter 1_*
The Ecliptic Brood
Three Hive Guardians using Darkness Powers (Stasis, Deepsight, Strand) barr the entrance to the Witness.
-------
*_Encounter 2_*
Fight against the brood
The Knight "Xel'reks, Of the Frozen Claw". The Acolyte "Fhaals, Of the Bleak Wire". And the Wizard "Myieva, of the Expanded Mind"
Each share one health pool.
*_"FAILURE..."_*
Encounter end.
-------
*_Encounter 3_*
"Cayde-6, Avatar of Light"
The traveller sends an avatar of itself. in the form of Cayde. Seeking to test the guardians before they face the witness.
*_"I gotta see if you're up to the job of deep sixin' the big guy. What do you say, kiddo?"_*
In this encounter, Taken will spawn.
Lets see if you're sturdy too!!"_*
Cayde will summon a golden gun, either of solar, arc or void energy, and target a random player, they have to hide behind a wizard of that same shield. All the while, players can damage cayde. Once all three wizards are dead, he will raise his shield for phase 2
Phase 2 will play out with a dilemma.
I KNOW you can!!"_*
Finally when his health depletes, Cayde would yield.
*_"Good... You're ready... Go show them what guardians are made of... I'm proud of you all..."_*
Encounter end
You are a genious
I love how the music gets more and more ethereal the closer you get to the final encounter, it gives you a sense that the final boss won't be something necessarily evil or good but a natural force trying to turn the universe into the Final Shape™️
all of encounter 3 makes me feel a way i have never felt before when listening to music... getting goosebumps all over from how good it is
The end cue is just so amazing.
Yo this goes unreasonably hard. Absolutely adore this. Could definitely hear this in game.
the pyramid synth guardian theme at the end of second encounter is nutssssss
Your use of leitmotif is phenomenal! It feels like destiny with a breath of Celeste to me. Keep it up
the bit at 24:25 feels like a slight nod to the green room from the whisper mission and i love that so much, even if that wasn’t your intention
"I've awaited your arrival, guardian. God-killer. Kingslayer. Tamer of the dark. Master of the light. You fight so hard, yet at what cost? Your feeble minds cannot comprehend my power. For whatever I wish to be, I simply command it"
Not gonna lie, this has put me more in the mood for Final Shape than any official marketing
Please guys
Bring it home
How tf you are not working for bunige
hoping this raid will be the hardest and longest of all time, this soundtrack doe hype me up and I feel like injecting copium into my veins now.
Watch it, not actually have anything to do with the witness, and is the same caliber as root
@@cobblestonegenerator I remember hearing we'd be killing The Witness in the raid somewhere
@@cresttoothpaste8133yea it’s confirmed somewhere the campaign boss is some random thing and then the witness is the raid boss
@@cobblestonegenerator this aged like milk
I really like that fact that you tie in a lot of different themes, for example there are moments where I feel like I am back in the valley of the kings on mars, then I am taken to a titanic battle against the darkness.
Right after landing I can just hear within a 10 second window...
• "Eyes up Guardian."
• Public event triggered.
• Heroic event triggered.
• Heroic event completed.
• 20 sparrows spawn/leave.
• 7 Shriekers and an Ogre about to volley my position.
• F*ckme.jpg
I can’t be the only one who hears the track Distant Shore in the end of round one of the first encounter
“Defenders of light, have you heeded my words for salvation? Or come to destroy the very thing that will save you.. no matter. I will be waiting little lights”
This is absolutely amazing man. I fucking love alot of destiny’s ost due to how they do their percussion and you really hit the nail on the head
Man this needs to be the music for final shape raid
I can only imagine the screen effects during final stand. Our hud glitching and screen corrupting as the witness attempts to sever our connection to the light for good. And our screen slowly fades to black for the final stand wipe. Damn...
my fav is "final encounter complete". It's very destiny-esq and sounds like a conclusive/fitting tone to the last raid in the light&dark saga
@6:30 through the end of this section, you could have added the neomuna theme into it, signifying our realization of the witness's plan and how we discovered the way inside the Traveler ❤
Definitely, this is a masterpiece.
congratulations, with this music I imagined the whole raid, and it made me want to play again, to be ready for day one
The final encounter music is not what I would expect, and that’s what makes it great.
It evokes a sense of melancholy to the player’s 10 year journey coming to an end and the determination of our Guardian. It fits very well.
It's so much destiny-like... Jokes away, I would love to hear the ost in the game!
He even has the music for hovering over the destination… wtf this has to be the leaked ost for the raid, right? It’s all so good and completed
Things like this make me feel excited about the game again.
Props to you 100%
the end cue makes me want to cry this is amazing
If Bungie is watching and listening! You should get full credit and compensation for this s composition you are awesome and this is amazing
Boots on the ground sounds so good.
I find it so fucking cool how much passion is put into stuff like this
Should totally put this on spotify if you possibly could.
Well I didn’t expect this.
dude made music that actually fits for a raid, respect.
You have followed the Witness into the Traveler, but instead of luscious lands, it is of fire, lava, and egregore. You still have your light and able to wield it, but this is not the Traveler from days of old.
Your Ghost is impacted by the Witness, and speaks through them, "Defenders of Sol, Guardians of Light, this is your end, the time to end the lies that your savior have brought upon you, hear our words, and suffer the consequences."
When Ghost regains control, you and him look in the distance and see many of the Witnesses soldiers and, a new one as well.
I’m lucky I found this vid. Its amazing. Music like this is what inspires me to become a composer
Glad the raid is gonna be against the witness, even if we'll probably finish it off for good in a post raid mission.
this is FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!! collab?
Listened to first and second encounter. It’s good. I liked how all threw out second encounter it’s beat is made with a hammer noise.

Second encounter awesome. I love this style!
Wow can't believe you ripped this from the Final Shape OST files! In seriousness, this is actually amazing.
This really makes me wish to have this Music in the game
Holy sht, this is so fcking good to be a fanmade OST
I'm not gonna lie this actually sounds legit. It doesn't sound fan made. You did a phenomenal job at capturing the Destiny sound
Really cool! Just wanted to let it be known this video and the music in it aren't related to anything releasing in The Final Shape.
@@Breshi123 Oh I already know. It still is nice to make a scenario due to your music.
Fantastic production work, Bresh. Solid sync possibilities. Even if it's not Bungie, you should look into some of the sync opportunities for gaming, streaming and traditional entertainment media. Lots out there.
Thank you! I'm definitely trying to do that. :)
Difficult industry to get into.
