I have a special edition of Among Thieves lol I still haven’t read it though. I’m the same way, I hate when big events take place off page and that might be why I don’t like cozy books, I want to be in the middle of what’s happening.

@@trinforeman54 I had just watched rebel moon on Netflix, so I’d JUST gotten the same “here are our characters, here are their backstories” setup, so I was like mmmmmm I’m kind of over this vibe so let me pick up something else. Haven’t touched it since
@@trinforeman54 it’s not AMAZING, but it’s fun to watch even through you kinda know what’s gonna happen. The second half had too many harvesting montages. Like a long time harvesting wheat.
