I repotted them when they needed water, cut some of the roots (should not have), didn't water them that day, and next day I came back most of them were droopy TT this gives me hope they'll make a comeback in a couple of weeks

Most of your basic "all-purpose" fertilizers will do fine with Spider Plants. The proper amount is as important as the brand/quality. On these I used a slow release fertilizer by Osmocote. It does not burn your plants and lasts about 6 months. Happy growing to you!
My spider plant is all wilted and empty I hope I can save it. It wasn’t getting light in the room it was on. It looks so bare now that’s pulled out most of them. So sad.
Stay optimistic, more light can be a big factor in getting your Spider plant healthy. They seem to require a bit more light than many of my other houseplants. Good luck.
One of my spider plants is so dead that almost all of the leaves are brown. It's growing a long stem with some hopeful looking green leaves on it. I have no experience with plants. What should I try to do?
Try to find out what's leading to the poor health. Could be watering, pests, stress of some kind, etc. If you get some fresh growth you could consider dividing and repotting the healthy portion.
I have a baby spider plant and I forgot to water it and as soon as I did the leaves started turning yellow and then brown, I’m hoping it will still perk up because it seemed like it needed water
Be sure to water and saturate the soil until water flows from the drain holes. It should perk back up. Be sure it's getting a decent amount of bright light as well.

If you need more pots without spending money, use your creativity to make pots from old materials. (bottles, cartons, scrap material, etc.) Always be sure your pots have holes from drainage.
Hi, I have a question. I have a baby that is trying to die. I finally placed it in water hoping that will get it pepped up and start growing roots. Any suggestions? My bigger spider plant, which I'm about to repot isn't growing any. I've got Jobes organics fertilizer spikes, can I use those in it? But my biggest problem is the baby trying to die. I tried setting it on dirt but thats when it started dieing so I moved it to water. Any suggestions please? Thanks
Trim off any dead plant material. You can try to revive your small plant in fresh water changed daily. Plant should be getting some light but perhaps not in the direct sun until it looks better. You will want to fertilize when you repot your bigger plant, just be certain you are using proper amounts no matter the brand.
I have a pretty urgent question. I have a spider plant that a friend of mine was going to toss away because she didn't want it anymore. Obviously she hasn't been taken care of it or it wouldn't look as poorly as it does. My question is should you repot a dehydrated spider plant? Or should I try to get it rehydrated first? It is in some pretty poor quality of soil, and the roots have grown about 3 in out from the bottom of the pot. This is a unique situation I suppose. Because I know it needs to be repotted, but I don't know if I should rehydrate it before stressing it even more. Help please! I have tons of experience with cacti and succulents. But I am currently trying to branch out with other types of plants as well, so spider plants are brand new to me!
Great question. I would suggest repotting into fresh soil in a pot that drains well. Soak that plant until evenly moist. You can put the plant into water for a day or two leading up to transplanting if you feel it needs a gentle transition (dump and refill the water every day). Trim away any broken, dead, or damaged leaves. Spider plants often develop fattened roots to help store water to survive, you might be able to save this one. Once your plant starts to rebound you can give a light dose of fertilizer.
For me, I like to repot into a larger container with some new potting soil. Be sure your container has holes to allow water to drain. They do best with morning sun and afternoon shade. Keep them moist and lightly fertilize. Good luck.

Yup, its that easy. Plants were also cut back and trimmed, moved to a less sunny location, repotted into fresh soil, and eventually fertilized.

Spider plants are not easy to keep at all, there near impossible for me to keep, this video is nonsense.
