I'm the owner of i10 Nios AMT Sportz and my job requires massive travelling mostly in rural areas I have driven this car in Ambaji, Gujarat and it had some really curvy road as it is on Arravali Hills and trust me it is one of the best on such roads also.
Brilliant job by both of you . This is one topic which most people or youtuber tend to ignore..would have loved to see start stop situation in steep incline to see if it rolls back which I don't think it does

Still Ignis zeta amt ..best in this segment...in rough, bumpy roads, you need ground clearance & power of engine..Ignis Zeta or Alpha gives that..180 MM GCL, 1.2 ltr EG & 4 Cylinders...looking driving issue first..other things r immatured

I compared zeta ignis amt to swift zxi amt to i10 nios amt.
Only car that gives hill hold +esp is swift which is very much needed for amt if you are first time owner.
While i10 nios looks good and looks premium mileage it gives is 12-13 I'm city.
Mileage ignis gives is 15-16 in city
Swift gives 14-15 city.
i10 has rear ac. No other vehicle this category has
Swift has everything actually at this price except rear ac.
As per engine. Ignis rocks and is more peppy than others.
Ignis is 3 star rating, nios is 2 star in safety
I am confused which one to select.

I have driven my AMT Dzire in Nainital and Pauri Garhwal. Maruti AMT cars in India are not for enthusiastic drivers. AMT cars are for relaxed driving. For over taking you have to press the A pedal hard to get the vehicle in low gear.

Ignis Zeta AMT kya isse behtar rahegi? It has better engine and almost 50K cheaper with all necessary features. Also Ignis has better ground clearance.

I own NIOS. It is my second car after santro. To be Frank santro ke comparisons me nios Zero. However smoothness, mileage, suspension, space, pickup, comfort everything is beyond expectations, very good. But Major drawback is one always feel insecure inside and car drive karne ka Jo maja hai o nehi hai.

It is because the car needs adequate torque to drive in hilly terrain. In auto transmission you have to get used to . If you keep on pressing the accelerator the chip thinks that you need more torque so it keeps the gears low. The moment you relax the accelerator the car shifts to higher gear. This is experienced in flat roads. I've experienced this in my AMT car.
The transmission unit monitors engine load and throttle input and based on that either it will delay the upshift in conditions where the load is higher like slope or heavily loaded luggage and passenger etc. Otherwise on a flat road with negligible load it will upshift at 2k rpm.
