Hello.. i am looking for a used car preferably around 5-6 years old for my personal car. It will be used in Nagaland which is hilly and plenty of bad and rough roads. My priority is to go for a used Scorpio. Current drives include a swift Vxi 2014 model and Mahindra Bolero 2022 model (used mostly by dad). Had an old generation DI Turbo Bolero which we have sold and need one for its replacement. The high torque avaibility of diesel engine is the decision to go for Diesel engine. Monthly running varies from 800-1000km.
Kindly advice whether a used Scorpio will be a good option or go for something else?

Hello Sir, My budget is around 8 to 9 lakhs. only maruti hyundai mahindra and tata are available here. hilly area average to normal roads. 500 to 600 km per month mainly we would use for personal use. I am considering new baleno delta/zeta confused MT or hyundai i20 sportz 1.2 NA MT. Priorities are comfort reliability long run use for 10+ years. Which car should we consider? you can also suggest other cars.

Bhai Maruti Ignis ko bhool gye. 5 - 7 lakh ke budget ma hills ke liye sabse badiya gadi hai. 180 mm ki ground clearance, 1.2 ltr good punchy and silent engine, good fuel economy, 15 Inch tyre, resale bhi badiya hai or parts ki koi dikkat nahi, hills pe local mechanic bhi check kr lega. Or main thing price starts from 4.80 Lakh. Isse badiya or Koi gadi nahi ho skti hills ke liye.

@@drramannepal9447 i have drove on hilly areas now a days my daily running is on hilly areas u suddenly need to dowshift climb a incline there is little bit lag in automatic in gear shifting in automatic there can be issue of wear and tear because automatic shift gears according to speed of the car in manual when u think ur car is struggling u can downshift but in automatic transmission upshift or downshift according to the speed
