- Texas trauma surgeon Dr. Brittany Bankhead-Kendall says it’s a rarity that any of her COVID-19 patients X-rays come back without dense scarring.
I quit smoking 15 years ago and was quite proud of the fact that my lungs had returned to the state of someone that had never smoked. Then, Christmas eve, I was rushed to the hospital with COVID pneumonia and stayed in the hospital for 6 days on oxygen. Great, my lungs are trashed again.
Sorry to hear it, hopefully over time it can heal itself somewhat

Not good. This is definitely an area for a quick expanded study. NIH should get involved with this ASAP.

Thank god, i was sick a long ago and i knew, it wasn’t covid and, i took a test and good thing, i wasn’t infected by covid!

@@prezadent1 i haven't gotten tested but I got really sick about 2 weeks ago. Since then my gf has gotten sick a bit aswell. We both haven't gotten tested but she couldn't smell or taste for a couple days so im sure we do have it. I've been quarantined in my room but I live with my mom and hope she doesn't get it idk. We share the same restroom which suck, hopefully there's no lasting effects. Im sure my daughter got it aswell and shes only 9 months.
Her message is distracted by the fact that this doctor is incredibly pretty.
