Great video, thanks. I regret not making similar of some of my past journeys. Three years ago I did a journey from Crawley to Edinburgh in a LEAF 24. I think it took me about 13 hours but it was surprisingly relaxing given the frequent stops. I too tended to stick to 60, it does save all that lane chopping and changing (and helps with motorway range!) 450 miles and I stopped 8 times. It was always about 50 miles between stops, almost like they'd planned where the service stations were! This a was 100% Ecotricity run, in the final days of them officially being free. Never had any charging issues. It'd be even easier these days with the likes of Polar and Instavolt, though I'd be inclined to do the same and stick to motorway service stations, at least whilst I still have a CHAdeMO car. On that trip I imposed a rule of stopping the charging at 80% (once or twice I went up to 81% or 82% accidentally!) and tended to arrive at the next stop with 25%-35% SOC. Charge times never exceeded 20 minutes. I must replicate that trip in my Kia Soul EV. I've done Cardiff, Derby and Liverpool in that and can easily get over 100 motorway miles per change. Could I really do Edinburgh in four stops..?!
Obvious comment, but get a separate mic and the voice levels will be better balanced with the library music. Otherwise, a really interesting video - thanks!

Longest We've done in Blairgowry to Upper Heyford 12 hours with lots of stops and meal breaks.
This trip has really encouraged us to do more longer trips. Definitely Scotland soon.
