Wow.... so mine 43 yrs are not so bad then. ;) I thought I 'd be too daddy to start with the bikes , especially smaller ones like 125.... but I 've fallem in love with that CB125r from the first sight and it's gonna be mine next year ! Some test rides and practicing this summer first in the moto school.

I watched your Sym Joymax review and it was all I needed to watch to buy it, I still have it and runs like a charm, I love it, but I am moving a bit further from the city centre and need a better 125, this sounds (and looks) like a winner!
I am looking for my 1st bike and I would like it to be 4 stroke 125cc bike and that bike is just awesome looking but I would like to know top speed of that thing and acceleration from 0-100. Nice video Btw!
In North America we can the Grom 125 and the Z125, but that's about it. We are slated to get the new CB300R, which will replace the rather out dated looking CB300F. I CB125R that you're on had a gear indicator, but your review for the CB300R seemed to say that it does not have a gear indicator, which is a shame ....and odd. I know the CB300F did not have one, which I still felt was odd.
Suzuki has the GSX-S 125 that I rode recently and I was stunned by it, I loved the slightly aggresive seating position it had, the brakes and the stability it had on corners. I loved GSX, more than mt 125! Keep it up with the reviews! Love them! Also I wanna suggest Kawasaki Z300 and versys 300 for review
i have had both the kawasaki z125 and the ninja 125 the ninja is not the fastest 125 on the market but god damn it looks sexy and ride more like a bigger bike that most apart from the gsx125
Lovely looking bike. But then if you haven't done your test yet, you've gotta stick L plates on the front and back of it (in the UK). Ruins the look! I would have expected the full horse power allowed on a provisional licence, like the MT 125.
The eruro 4 version 2019 was about 13 bhp but the euro 5 version 2021 is 15 bhp which is the max that a 125 is legally allowed to be. I dont really see how an extra 2 bhp is anything to boast about

You've got a point... Honestly it doesn't make sense, that a 300 costs like 500€/£ more but also provides better quality and double the power. Well, there's cruisers that cost 38k so I guess overpricing is a thing on the top end scale and the low end scale of bikes.
Same as CB300!? Big Noo cager! Look closer, it has totaly different design and engine basis, only the chasis which looked to be the same, and that's all... This CB125 engine is based on the previous CBR125, and the CB300 is basicly the same engine as the CBR250/300.. So, NO, it's not the same as the Dukes (125, 200, 250 etc)

The engine actually isn't at the high end of the range... It's only 13.3 HP instead of 15 HP

the new versions of this bike are about 5'9 to flat foot but 5'6 minimum height i think
This engine just isn't as powerfull as the ones in the duke 125 or yamaha mt125, the honda engine makes 1kW less and has only 2 valves.
But it's low weight makes up for that more than enough. In town you might even pull away from the other 125s
Best review so far. Balanced and informative, without complaints about it being too slow or, boring.

6:35 no it has 13,1 hp not 15 hp so it's not at the top, but it's a little lighter than the Mt 125 and duke 125. Great video :)

LabGorilla bc of the weight it is almost the same as the mt 125! If it had the same weight as the mt 125 then it would probably have 14-14,5 bhp

125 costs more likely becuase uk riders have to start on a max capacity of 125 so companies know they can charge more and peolple will still get them
