Thanks for the tips. I saw you move the location of the text box on the screen, but I can't figure out how to do this. If I hold my finger on it, it doesn't move, just stays in the centre of the vertical screen.

Finally. Love this new update. I wish there was a way to adjust the music. I wanted to add a video of me talking but the music kept playing. I wanted to cut off the music to add my video and couldn't. Had to do it inshot.
You can adjust which part of the audio you want to use within the reels editing interface!

Great video! How can I add text from other apps to reels but set how long I want it to be shown for? I used to be able to do it but now outside text doesn’t show on the editing screen

That’s nice but how do you make like good text transition. Like how do you make it disappear in slow motion and the next one pops up in slow motion, that way it looks more professional
We use Descript to add text to a lot of our content! You can see examples on my IG account: instagram.com/stephanielynnkase
If your text is supposed to stay in line with the speaker, slow motion might not work for that!

Great video, thanks! One question, I can't seem to figure out how to get the background box around the text like you did just after you added your text?
In the top middle of your screen, tap the A icon that has stars next to it! Might require you to change the font!

If I want a certain shade of blue in my text box in EVERY reel what can I do so I don't have to re-create the shade in my next reels? I'm having to re-create it every new reel. I want my page to look very cohesive so need this same color text box in all. Please help. Thank you so much for your amazing content!
It's annoying but you'll have to pull that color every time! Unless you create in an external app!

When I do that everything’s fine before publishing, I see the text I wrote they appear successively. But once It’s published only some of the texts appear. I tried that several times and it never works as it should . and I don’t understand why. By the way, thank you for your video.
Instagram can be soo glitchy. That's so frustrating. Have you tried starting over from scratch?

It's a little more tricky on reels than on Tik Tok 😭 There is a work around if you record your video as a story, and include a picture via the Add Sticker button! Then, save that video and add it into your reel!

How to turn the text to speech text
I found that using tiktok or youtube and saving them videos and using them on instagram is the easy option

I have created a couple reels and once I am done, it shows up as a black screen, before clicking on them to view? why is that?
Once they're posted? On your feed? Could be a glitch.... have you tried uploading a cover photo?

so i did this like a billion times. ive previewed this and when i post and look again the text is not on the reel, or only one of the tect boxes are and not the second? weird/ User error?
Probably an IG glitch! Save your edit to your camera roll, re-upload, and add the text boxes again.
This didn't work for me but not sure if it's because I already saved it as a draft. Then went back to type text for captions afterwards.
You should be able to add text to drafts!
How do you add seo terms and where

The problem/glitch that I have is that I change the fonts styles in the words and make them animated. And it works in the preview BEFORE posting the reel. However, once I post the reel, the animated fonts become STATIC and are no longer animated. I have an android phone. Any tips? Thank you.
I'm not super familiar with Android! But, I recommend using fonts that look native to the app - nothing too snazzy! You could try updating the app!
@@StephanieKase thanks. I used the fonts that were available in the app. I also checked and there is no update available. I'm really stumped. I was trying to add 3 pictures to a reel, and at first, 2 of the 3 pictures showed the correct font and animations and on only one picture the font was static. However, when I deleted the reel to try again, NONE of the pictures had any animations and all of the words in the 3 pictures were all static. 🙄 After that I tried multiple times unsuccessfully.
Is there a way to add text to the last frame only in a reel? I know how to add text, but when I do it comes out on all my frames. How do I place text on just one particular frame?

@@StephanieKase Hi I would also like to know how to do this. It seems there may have been an update to Instagram because you no longer have the option to edit where the Text goes It only gives you options to edit the video itself and the audio the text defaults to appearing in all frames. It does give you an option to click the round button at the bottom but doesn't let you edit where is goes like in your video I would really appreciate a solution for this:)

@@StephanieKase Yes! That happened too. I was making the reel in TikTok. I was advised by a friend that the video was so large (40MB) that it caused issues. So I reset all of the text in Capcut. Omg, I spent hours working on this video of my product and it finally exported with text displayed in Capcut.

You can add text to your reel! Not specifically to a thumbnail! The best way to change your thumbnail is with cover photos!

Make sure you have already added your desired text, then select "edit video" on the bottom left! You might have to scroll down to the bottom to see it!

You cannot edit the original!
You speak really quickly so difficult to understand and follow at the same time
