03:32~03:38 I read from the Disney Wiki Site that Angela Lansbury's recording of "Be Our Guest" in this promo was from the original version (in which Maurice was the guest before replaced by Belle), so I checked this out and indeed heard the lyrics "HE'S our guest!"
Ah yes, the Jungle Book. I remember when I saw this movie the first time, I was like 3 years old when I saw it. It was at my old house and me, my brother and my dad were watching the Jungle Book in the living room on VHS (it was the 1997 version btw, only it’s the Canadian version, slight differences there because the Duplication in part or whole part to make up for the lack of FBI part, it was added to the new blue warning screens in the 2000s) sitting down on a mattress a few inches away from the old Hitachi TV and a Sanyo VCR. I then fell asleep after the movie ended, so did my bro. I think I forgot to turn off the TV there.😅

From the animators that brought you Sleeping Beauty and Dumbo for pure energy, high-spirited high jinks, and cascading joy, The Jungle Book is through to top." - People Magazine Snap your fingers, tap your toes and swing into the jazziest jungle of them all in Walt Disney's coolest Classic, The Jungle Book! This animated gem springs brilliantly to life when Mowgli, an orphan boy raised by wolves, is encouraged by his animal friends to leave the jungle before the return of the fearsome man-eating tiger, Shere Khan. With Bagheera (his loyal panther friend) at his side, Mowgli's journey back to the "man-village" begins. Along the way, he is befriended by a free-spirited bear named Baloo, who rescues him from hilarious run-ins with some of the wildest Disney characters ever created - eccentric elephants, a bewitching boa and a be-boppin' orangutan named King Louie! Through it all, it's lovable Baloo who teaches Mowgli the "Bare Neccessities" of life and the true meaning of friendship. Filled with wonderful music and thrilling adventures, The Jungle Book is a swingin', singin', song-filled celebration you'll never forget!
What 1944 archive footage cutclips and cutscenes where the entire audience is shown watching "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937) were 0:50 to 0:52 taken from?
I love looking at the previews of THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER (1990) CODY and MARAHUTE are my favorite Disney characters, but not Bernard or Bianca because the two mice were terrible in the whole story.
@@Sandlot1992 Yep. He's done voice-over work with Disney since the early '80s all the way to 2008. Before then, he originally started out in radio before overlapping to being the voice-over announcer of both CBS and Fox in the '80s and '90s.
My mom brought us the jungle book on the video with I was 4 years old when I move to their apartment now when I was 13 years old at junior high north country learning center in summer of June 2001 then when I was 15 & 16 years old the found the old tapes in the closet and mark Elliott narrotes.
You don't need to call it "Walt Disney Home Video Red and White FBI Screen, Previews, And WD Classics Logo", you can just simply just call it "Opening to The Jungle Book 1991 VHS".
to this day this is one of favorite childhood films, overall best classic one
I love Beauty and the Beast. It is my ultimate favorite film. And my brother loved The Jungle Book.
Speaking of Katzenberg's appearance at 2:25... you can now see outakes of him rehearsing for this promo in the documentary "Waking Sleeping Beauty".
I would kill to go back to time.. to be watching the very first colored disney feature, snow white and be in awe. Must've been outta this world then..

Beauty and the Beast sneak peek 0:31
I had the 1991 VHS of "The Jungle Book" sadly it was damaged at the end.
Oh, no! However did it get damaged?
I have the 2007 DVD of this movie!
And another thing. The FBI screens ended in 1991, not 1992. The WDHV logo is also from 1986, not 1984.

Who does Cheech Marin voice at the 1:40 mark of this video?
documentaries rock
@Brandondorf9999 It is the Jungle Book. I can do a recording with a videocamera to show the tape to prove it.
Who is the voiceover actor in this video? I've always wondered that.
that's Mark Elliott!
Richard Canipe Oh. Cool. Thanks for letting me know.
The Media Monitor your very welcome!
Richard Canipe :)
