This guy was so sweet and had the best facial expressions. His comments (and YOURS) to his wife, Shavonne, had me cracking up! (And now I want cookies....) That one neck crack....heck, ALL his neck cracks!...were amazing. Super crack-ey!!! I loved this episode and I hope you film all of his. I've heard of frozen shoulder, but had no idea it was THIS AWFUL. Poor guy. I want to see you make him better, Doc!!!
Listen, Dr. Doug is the creme de la creme of his field. I'm going to try my best to see him this year. This segment was sooooo exciting. Bravooooo! I hope Andre returns, and gets well real soon. Awesome work Dr. Doug!🎯
In addition to being a really nice gentleman, he is a really tough guy as well. I had a frozen shoulder and these therapy movements were excrutiating but necessary.
I haven't been able to turn my head to the right in about two weeks. The stiffness has gotten much worse over the last few days to where my muscles almost feel sore even from just holding my head up. The only relief I get is when the weight of my head is resting on a pillow. What I would give to be able to see this guy. Hopefully someday I will. After following and watching countless chiro videos over the years, I honestly think this guy is the best in the business. He seems to adjust each patient to their specific needs as opposed to just a one size fits all type adjustment. I like how much work he puts into trying to find out exactly what's going on and what needs to be adjusted. You can tell he really cares about his patients.
awww that is so kind of you, I appreciate the great support, I‘m sorry to hear about your neck and hope you‘ll get fixed. I wish you the best, good luck on your journey Red.
I had this same issue. If possible get into a chiro ASAP. Also, use a neck brace so your neck can heal. Do that for about a week and then see how your neck feels.
Oh man! If Dr. Doug put all his weight into my shoulder and armpit, I would probably have the world’s worst allergies, too! I truly appreciate how much Dr. Doug cares about you and all of his patients!
Hey! You did a really good Job to Adjust him!! You checked every Joint C0 To C7, the thoracic spine and the lower back. That’s so good for the neuronal Structures. You worked on some good trigger points to stretch the fascia. The Faszia is in most cases the structure that glues everything together. There are 3 mores points you have to the sh*** out of and the Arm will raise maybe 50 degrees. The descensius part of the Trapezius, near the first rip and near the cervical spine. The Rhomboids near Margo medialis, and finally the tendon from the infraspinatus near the joint on the dorsal side from the shoulder!! Good Luck and Regards from Germany
It'll be interesting to see what range of movement he has after a day or two. I've had a similar problem in the past and whilst I was still unable to lift my arm at the time of the adjustment, after a few days, the range of movement increased and with daily stretching and breathing techniques I started to see a benefit. I kept going back for adjustments and the same thing happened until I finally got back to full fitness. Look forward to the next installment!
As someone who has had my share of shoulder problems, not frozen shoulder, but painful shoulders and hard to lift my arm. what helped me the most besides the chiropractor adjustments, was a combination of massage therapy with high pressure on trigger points and various stretches. After the massage i would do the tens unit with heat. I'd take the tens up to what I could handle and muscle would twitch a little. I was also taking ibuprofen 800mg 2-3 times a day during that period. You're an excellent chiropractor. I hope he finds relief.
I had frozen shoulder a few years ago and it was painful to reach behind my back and I couldn’t lift the arm up very high. I had manipulation under anesthesia which was followed up with physical therapy. My arm/shoulder is back to normal. Good luck to this gentleman. Great job doctor!
I liked this video. Can’t remember a video focused mainly on the frozen shoulder. Crazy how it just gets stuck like that. At least he’s not having too much pain which is helpful. He had a great personality Doc and seems like an easy going guy to be around with a good sense of humor. Good video to start off the weekend! 👍🏽💯
You don't remember the most classic shoulder video on the internet that I think has like a million views?? It is an old one from Doc but a classic with tons of hilarious comments. Edit: Doc linked to it in this video description. It has over 4 million views!
my brother had this same problem, a TENS machine placed to activate his muscles for 30 mins over 5 sessions with a chiro in UAE fixed him. the first session gave him some shoulder mobility back, however the 2nd and 3rd sessions gave him nearly all of his shoulder mobility back. the tens machine had to be set to nearly the max initially to even get his muscles to twitch. but each sessions which was deep muscle massage, then TENS made his muscles (rhomboids) come back to a normal activation impulse. TENS machines are extremely under rated
This was one of my favorite videos you guys are such great guys and he was such a great trooper my dad had a frozen shoulder after his heart surgery and I feel bad for this guy but he did everything you could and I would love an update
I'm hoping that starts to loosen up for him. I'm glad it's not causing pain which would be way worse but that is definitely something that would affect a lot of things he probably wants to do. I've never had frozen shoulder or have I known anyone that does, but it definitely looks like it's getting hinged up in 2-3 different places when he tries to lift his arm. Interesting that he had his elbow issues when he was younger, but he didn't mention any back/neck/shoulder injuries in the recent past. I'm glad he'll be coming back.
This was so relevant for me! Swimming has helped the range of motion in my right arm, but there’s a sticking point/ niggle, so I have to raise the sash windows carefully. Really enjoyed the analyses of the problem! Shayan, thanks - and tears are allowed in men nowadays! 🤗Thanks for uploading, Doc ! Have a good weekend!
It's really nice to see a realistic video like this. Obviously I wish Andre would've been able to be cured instantaneously, I don't want any one to be in pain, but in real life most problems aren't fixed in one session and you need several sessions and even maintenance adjustments. So many chiro channels show only the instant outcomes and it's nice to see something feel so real. I have a few chronic conditions and I was going to physical therapy and chiro twice a week for a year, then one day I walked in and realized I didn't have nearly as much pain and I wasn't sure when it changed. Chiropractic treatment gave me my life back. It took me showing up for myself and dedicating myself to my care, but I had a great healthcare team to guide me through it. Anyways my point is thank you for showing us all versions of treatment and not just the rare instant fix. I hope you're doing really well! Sending love and light 💕✨
I had a "frozen shoulder" (adhesion), not quite as bad as this gentleman. One day I was distracted and not thinking and I pull started a quad with my bad arm and rapidly moved my arm past the point of the adhesion. It literally put me on my knees with pain for 60 seconds. I imagine that was what being shot in the shoulder would feel like. Afterwards there was zero pain and a return of full range of motion. I made sure I kept articulating the shoulder to prevent the adhesion from re-forming. I have been fine for 20 years. But my that hurt like a bugger.
Doc even if you did not cure him in one day you're still the Best...I always love watching you in action wish I was not so far away I would love to pop in for a visit. 👍👍👍👍 up for you doc all the way from south Africa ❤
I had both shoulders frozen at the same time, it was horrible. It gets worse and then loosens up in stages. Physical therapy is what worked for me. She literally stretched my muscles to get them free. As painful as was it was necessary and amazing. Good luck to anyone who suffers from this.
I had frozen shoulder due to arthritis in the AC joint and tendonitis in the supraspinatus. I had a few cortisone injections and hours of physiotherapy. I'm glad to report that I can raise my right shoulder now, hope this guy makes some progress.

I did too, caused by radiation therapy. Unfortunately my chiropractor doesn’t work on anything like that. I ended up having it surgically reduced but in the process they caused a rotator cuff tear. I don’t have pain anymore but my mobility is low. I wish I had searched for a different chiropractor.

@@TheHealthHacker Hopefully we dont get a polar vortex like Iowa got 3-4 years ago. They were in the negative for weeks.
That's my boy from Newark new jersey
I would like to see the follow-up visit
Is there any progress? Would like to see an improvement in his frozen shoulder 🙂
First! I never seen this! This is what i been wanting to see in a chiropractor im subscribing rn . Lol
Awesome! Thank you!
I have frozen shoulder too
I did too, caused by radiation therapy. Unfortunately my chiropractor doesn’t work on anything like that. I ended up having it surgically reduced but in the process they caused a rotator cuff tear. I don’t have pain anymore but my mobility is low. I wish I had searched for a different chiropractor.
@@suek7086 so sorry . I hate that for you.
Sorry to hear, it's a tough one.
Ahahahahahah i think the chiropractor got scared at that first crack on the beggining of the clip
