tutorial was awesome! though, after doing the red lines for the dye cut it printed them out with a thin white outline along the rim, even though i selected it all 😵still getting used to the program, thank you!
Thank you for a great tutorial and good explanations and instructions. I use the replicate tool as well, rather than copy paste & move. Very helpful hints.
Hello Caylin! Thank you for your videos ♥ I would like to make wedding stationery and use different shapes. Would you please make a video on how to cut already printed cards (from a printer ) on a plotter? I saw it on a lady on IG, but unfortunately, I can't figure it out :( I have a Silhouette Cameo 4 and I would like to use it for my work .... Thank you very much ♥
In my experience this tends to happen when the cutting mat is too sticky. I use a really old cutting mat and stick my card stock down using masking tape. It will leave a sticky residue if the cutting mat is sticky.
@@CaylinFourie Thank you, but sadly I don’t live in South Africa so I don’t think I can get the same exact paper like yours, but anyways thanks for sharing.
Dont do it, the Cameo is not designed for heavy stocks you will break the machine in a short time. Also it requires bigass margin which means that an A4 which normally hosts 10 cards will be reduced to 8, this immediately makes it uneconomical. Just use a paper cutter or if you dont have, a box cutter and steel ruler.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I followed your instructions to a T and everything came out perfect!
THANK YOU! I was struggling to create a double sided bookmark. This is perfect! 👍
Thank u Caylin. I feel so special 😅. That u actually read & acknowledged my request (posted on 1 of ur other videos), to do this double-sided cards🎉😊

Hello Caylin! Whenever i print using a cardstock, it tends to get really sticky afterwards because of the cutting mat. Have you experienced this?

@@CaylinFouriethanks Caylin! I am actually using my oldest cutting mat. Is it okay to cut without a cutting mat? I have a Silhouette Portrait 3.
That's really weird! @@itsjeanyu I'm not 100% sure, I've never cut card stock without a cutting mat. From what I've read you can, maybe give it a try?
What is the paper brand that you are using for your business card if you don’t mind me asking?
I get mine from Kalideck

Nice video! I was getting ready to do this, when I realized I don’t have a color printer 😭
You can still print beautiful grayscale business cards. And even do them on colored cardstock paper. They even have pattered paper available. Enjoy!
