    This video is a blessing!!! I'm working on creating merch for my music and I've had the designs ready for awhile now but have been so lost in deciding how I want to print because vinyls just seem not the best for a durable shirt design and quality feel. Outsourcing is great but my goal is to be able to do it myself so I can also create merch for other bands/businesses/people but wanted to still create stickers etc. You just combined the best of both worlds with a single video and I hope this comment helps spread it because I'm sure there's a ton of people in the same boat as me!

    Fantastic. So helpful and so authentic. Thank you for the tips. I appreciate you taking the time to show me how to screen print on the Cameo. I think you just convinced me I need to buy that machine. I saw a video on how to use the same machine to cut fabric which can be glued onto tees I would think. Or stitched for a more authentic style. Keep creating....

    I've had a Silhouette for a few years, and it is just so useful. I would recommend keeping a stash of the clear backing from the vinyl. It is handy for keeping the transfer tape from resticking to the design when you are trying to get the little details to release.

    The t shirt looks ahhhhhhhhmazing🤗🤗🤗.
    Question(s) for you.
    1. Is the decal you printed re useable?
    2. Is that the largest screen ?
    3. You were using your desk top ……..can the process be done via my iPad?
    I’ve been looking at both brands: cameo and silhouette!
    I like that the silhouette has a 24” model. It would be my first choice to purchase……( now I’m still debating ) This will give me more area to create my design.So many pros and cons being spoken about them both. Now that I have seen you create this tee shirt I’m still liking the silhouette cameo pro 24”.
    Also definitely going to check out thrifting some shirts……I did look one time and of course if the shirts were nice and clean and stain free…they wouldn’t be in the thrift store. Sooooooooo………maybe need to try other thrift stores.
    Really enjoyed this tutorial 🥰

    • @BlueprintDIY
      @BlueprintDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've heard that there's a way to reuse them, but I haven't tried it. I have a larger screen and you can purchase them in a few different sizes. I'm not sure if you can use an iPad, but I'm pretty sure you can use it on a Mac. I'm really intrigued by the 24" as well.

    You did an amazing job. The t-shirts turn out beautiful. I have been using the Silhouette Cameo for 10 years. It is so much fun. I am not sure if you know or you just prefer to design with Gimp, but you can do all your designing in the Silhouette software. This will eliminate the need to trace. The program is so robust. Keep up the great work and I look forward to you sharing more using the Cameo.

    You are the Harriet Tubman of TH-cam. This is so neat! The equipment is an investment but could pay for itself in no time. I never heard of Juneteenth growing up in Atlanta, GA but when I move to Houston, it was something of a celebration and when I asked about it some could not explain it but others were very vague and just said when slaves were freed here. So I thought it was a western thing. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

    This video confirmed for me that people from Houston do sound about country as heck lol. My Aunt also lives there and I tell her she has an accent while she tells me (living in FL) that I have one. You and her sound alike, so there must be some truth to my claim 😜 also thanks for the tutorial!! Getting my cameo 4 next week and I can’t wait to bust it open. I hear you can use it to cut out smaller pattern pieces. Do you have any experience or videos where you cut pattern pieces for sewing projects?

    Hi Angelina, I have a question. I've started upcycling and I really enjoy it. I will retire early next year, so I will have lots of time to devote to upcycling. I'm torn between 3 machines (juki 1508NS, TL18 QVP & SailRite). My problem is, I don't know which machine would be best. Should I invest in the high price Juki, or will one of the others do the job. I don't know if there are maintenance & up keep cost, etc... Could you provide some advice/feedback? Thank you in advance.

    • @BlueprintDIY
      @BlueprintDIY  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I like the TL18 because It’s an industrial that you can move around. The Sailrite and Juki 1508 need their own table and assembly is not necessarily easy. However if you want a walking foot machine, I love my Sailrite Fabricator. I’m currently using it to make bags.

    This technique usually works for exactly numbers and bold letters. It can be done with other designs that are more intricate but it's very time consuming and if you mess up it's very frustrating. Believe me. It's better to just make it on illustrator and print out a transparent post script and expose it to a screen with some emulsion. Your shirt came out really nice though and really clean.
