If you want a larger bait check out the 12” ABT suicide glide. It sinks and swims very similar to the bait you where using in this video. Pretty much a surface glide

Appreciate it! What size split rings would you use?

@@brnburner666 I'll have to do some testing. The bait has a weight limit threshold. If you use the stock split rings and those hooks you should be fine, you could also tied braid loops as I did. Ill do some checking as far as upgrading goes. I am sure there's some spilt rings that are more heavy duty that aren't much heavier in weight.

What is your go to mainline when throwing these different types of lures? I have braid on ALL my baitcaster reels. Was thinking maybe to re do at least 3 w ith fluorocarbon (Seaguar).. im throwing swimbaits, under spins,spooks,ima big stick etc.
Thoughts? Highly appreciate it.🎣👍🏼

@@chriscastellanos3985 Thanks Chris. I run braid on everything and occasionally tie a mono leader to braid. I would stay away from fluro on your topwater because it sinks. Some guys like to use their whole spool as fluro however I like tying connection knots from braid to leader.
