I love Winding Stair Campground. But it can be very cold on top of that mountain, it always seems to be windy in the winter. I will say the water system can be hit or miss, so be sure to bring your own water when visiting. My favorite Arkansas travel loop is East on the Talimena Scenic Drive, then to Hot Springs and take Scenic Hwy 7 north to Harrison, then US 62 back west to Rogers. Many times at Harrison I'll run up US 65 to Branson for a couple days as a side trip, then back down to Harrison and west. A very scenic route with lots to see and do along the way.
I’m so glad for the two of you to adventure together this time!! So cool!! I’d like to adventure with a friend. I’m too extroverted. I couldn’t do it by myself. I’d go nuts!
Oklahoma has a lot of really amazing things to do and I definitely encourage people to not just bypass it because they consider it to be a flat state. They might be surprised what they find there.
It has always been my goal to get people out, living life, more fully, and seeing things around them and sharing things like this make it more assessable because people can see that it really is affordable to do so
Hey girl-great video and great idea on scenic byways...if only we could travel just on scenic byways, right? I see some time in OK in my future 👀I think the America the Beautiful pass does get you half price camping in some federal campgrounds (I use mine for USFS and BLM campgrounds here in Idaho)
Hiya Bunny I'm in Mena. I haven't watched for a while but I'm glad your doing well. I would love to ask you some thing's but don't have time right now. I've been working on my little old Ford Focus (2007) it's a bit small but it gets 38 miles to the gallon and it just keeps on running 😆 Can I meet you? I can be there in a jiffy. 😊
