took a bit but got it to work! for people using the network drives the node application does not like you using the \ without doubling it so it knows it's not a special command here is how I did it Z:\\\\
Excellent video, one of the only ones I could find that showed me how to use other nodes, question: have you ever encountered this error? [2022-06-23T23:35:46.266] [ERROR] Tdarr_Node - Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, access '/mnt/video/T I can read:write with the user I added in my docker server and the one I use to attached the network drives in my windows machine, but each time the server tries to encode, it gives me that error
Thanks for your video. I followed as you did and setup a remote node on my laptop to use its GPU. I set up the node config and running node.exe does not spit out any errors. The server and node paths are recognized and I can view the node from my unraid tdarr docker. I did all these but I'm still getting "The following transcode cache path cannot be accessed on Tdarr_Node" error. My transcode cache is mapped in share using my cache drive. I even set the permission public but still getting this error. Hope you can help me. Thanks!
The thing is I use my VMs more often and I have only a single GPU and that GPU is passed troughed to the VM. That is the reason I use a Windows VM Node instead of the Docker Node.
@@KPTechTips oh, never tried to pass gpu to vm before. You mean to say that once you pass it to a vm, you can't share it to docker anymore? Are they mutually exclusive?
No once I run my VMs I can't use it for any docker containers. While it is not running I can use but I use My VMs very often than Tdarr so until I get another GPU I will be doing it like in the video
Good work mate, keep it up!
Thanks, you too!
Thanks for posting this! Followed it and worked perfectly! Now i'm transcoding on my unraid gpu (p2000) and my gaming pc gpu (3060ti).
Great to hear!

thanks this helped me. Basically just set up the config and you're good to go. very easy!
Glad it helped!

@@KPTechTips Hi I did message you in instragram. Appreciate it if you could have a look. Thanks!
Did it work
Why not just run docker node and attach the gpu to it? Any benefits in running a full vm?
