I too have an order placed for an EV and I am waiting to get my power connected in my garage but will not purchase the Wallbox until my VW ID4 is on it's way to the dealer. If you install too early you are letting your warranty run out. Who knows when you will finally get your EV. Something to consider.
its a good point, I had put down my original deposit in Oct-2021 and was told it would arrive in February-2022 (that didn't work out so well). But my other concern was, after buying the first one, that technology was moving so fast, if they updated the wallbox hardware before i bought my 2nd electric vehicle, that the 2 boxes would no longer be compatible for power sharing.
I couldn't get it to update and had to call support. They did a "push" to the device which did the trick. It was really odd since the unit was connected to wifi but would fail to update.

I used to be able to connect to my Pulsar from a far, now I have to be at home to be able to connect to it.
If anyone has issues updating move out of Bluetooth range and let it update via wifi (assuming it’s connected to wifi)
