This is a brand new series I'm trying out to give an retrospective analysis on an operator based on CN players' perception on them over the 6 months since their release on CN.

@@hakimi5395 Read the event. We've known her for 2 events ( Hortus de Escapismo and this one) and she's always been a wanted criminal that caused half the problems in the events.

@@hakimi5395 The funny thing is she's not a psychopath but she's a trouble maker for sure as she knowingly causes a lot of problems in the events Kaynan mentioned.
What I like about her is her amazingly smooth voice and her slightly mischievous look (smug if you will) on her artwork. We unironically don't know that much about her character despite her significant presence in two events. Feel free to disagree on that point thought after reading the current event. I just don't feel like I know enough about her to like her for her personality so to speak.
@@Jaxter0987I’d recommend reading her profile lore and operator record story if you haven’t. They elaborate on certain aspects of her character that were more vague in the event story. The operator record also concludes with a plot point so major that its exclusion from main story is baffling.

Ngl this is way better than yiis old content regarding operator info. Not to say they were bad but this scratches the itch perfectly.
I miss the less serious bits between the parts of the operator's kit but this full detailed stuff is also cool.

I prefer the term Elemental Buildup since you are building up towards the Elemental Burst threshold, which then causes Elemental Damage.
To me, Elemental Impairment implies the enemy is already suffering from some kind of debuff. Or in other words, is impaired by an element.
So by extension it would then also be Buildup Resistance (B-RES) and Elemental Resistance (E-RES). I at least find that less confusing.
It has its pros and its cons. This sounds like it works but can cause confusion with how it actually works in the game. We aren't building up a value, we're decreasing a separate hp pool (i.e. we aren't starting at 0 and building up to 1000 or 2000, we start at the max and go down to 0). This process is more in line with the idea of impairment instead of buildup. Of course, it's a nitpicky detail and both work just as well, so there isn't a right answer between them. Just pointing out it's not a complete solution.
Yeah I also thought elemental buildup would be a better term to use than impairment. It also helps that people are just more used to the term "status buildup" so it's an easily transferable term.
@@lupomikti In all fairness, terms such as stacking up damage on (insert name target here) are common enough I think "building up" elemental status on an enemy fits. Yes, it'd be more ideal if a bar was filling up as opposed to just reducing a secondary HP bar but I think Elemental Buildup would just be a better option than "impairment" when I hear impairment my thoughts first go to some kind of debuff already being on the target as they are "impaired" and while a DoT could be seen as a debuff, it really isn't. Many games use elemental or status buildup and display it as "building up" the status but sometimes under the hood it's realistically just depleting an alternative health bar.
I love how unique she is. She doesnt deal damage and has a balance between debuff and utility
but she does deal dmg, basically true dmg even.

thanks for doing these videos! i already pulled her and m3'd s1 and s3, was planning to leave the s2 at sl7 but realized after a few is4 runs where the s3 downtime is too long and s1 isnt sufficient enough, this video helped give even more insight to how s2 functions and the synergies with other operators.

i pulled for Virtuosa mainly because I run a self-restricted roster (all ops at E2L1) so any new op that can help with support and buffs appeal to me, but I didn't properly understand her kit/role until this video. thanks for explaining her kit much better than any other resource i've seen!

Thank you for the explainer about the difference between impairment and damage. I kinda just thought that 'elemental damage' was one thing, and the elemental HP bar was like a "shield" that you had to break before you could do e-dmg to HP. But it makes sense they're different things when you take primal casters(/Eben/etc) into account.

the second skill works on Skalter seaborn, to take effect on summons the operator needs to have the phrase "extend her/his range" attach to that summon, so maybe works with Ray's summon? thanks for the video

I know he probably falls out of the scope of this video and/or series, but after the question mark of possible synergy with a future 6-star primal caster, I'm curious if you have also some thoughts about the 5-star necrosis primal caster we also just got, Diamante, and if he can pull his weight when combined with Arturia.

I think a big reason why you'd go with both Virtuosa and another necrosis-operator is to trigger the Weaken effect faster, since Necrosis Burst halves enemies' ATK and that could be meaningful under circumstances, especially when you've got two units that can burst Necrosis damage with their skills instead of just one (so you can alternate which skill is used during downtime)

I used Virtuosa a lot recently in IS4. Her skill 1 is very usefull
I did get Virtuosa in 51 pulls, but I didn't have a lot of pulls to begin with.
I really want to get Degen, but now I will have to skip all the banners up till Shu and cross my fingers that Shu comes in a 10 pull or something.
I also want Ela because she's superlimited and Ash doesn't seem like a worthwhile operator to pull for now that I have Typhon.

Does the Mastery 3 on her Skill 1 make much difference? Should i go beyond m1? The best thing m3 does is the 3 stacks on deployment, right?Her damage come from elem collapse so the tine extra damage should be negligible.
Im waiting for that Phantom 3rd module that applies full Nervous Impairment on deploy of both operator as well as doll(2 instances of true damage)

First time I went for spark (Wanted Skalter) and I absolutely love Arturia, a shame I only managed to get her to Pot 3, but I'll have her at M9 as soon as I can.
I was quite surprised when you said that Virtuosa was the most M9 worthy character since Yato Alter at 8:53. Was Yato Alter’s skill 1 that good? I completely missed that, if that was the case
So is it worth to level her from 40 to 90? Look like it doesn't matter much cause she deal the same damage after burst anyway.

Does the auto attacks by Thorns pair well with Virtuosa's S2?

Could you put your ratings in context? As in, how good is a 5/10 rating? How good is a 9/10 rating? It would be nice to compare to global released ops to make it clear
The only thing I can think to make Primal Caster can work with Virtuosa is if said Operator skill can "reduce elemental built-up by certain percentage, ASPD up, dealing multiple hit but reduce each hit to example 20% original ATK, this ATK reduction is removed if attacking enemy on elemental burst and dealing a proportional damage as elemental damage which bypass defense and ressistance"
I know it's kinda too much but skill duration and downtime will balance it.
How does Valarqvin and Virtuosa's interaction work?
If Valarqvin deals the last hit on the same target, does her lower fixed damage take priority over Virtuosa's higher fixed damage?

It should be 525*1.5*2.8*0.1= 220.5
Instead on 525*1.55*2.8*0.1 = 227.9 (pot 5 talent incorrectly used)
Which means there is a difference made between pot 3- and pot 4+ against bosses

there only 2 elemental damage in CN right now burn and necrosis. there will 6 star be burn ritualist. also there a chance they add new elemental damage
