The Bose Flex has a pure sound with excellent detail. Most people seem to be only interested in loud mind numbing rubbish. I like the simplicity of connection and the fuss free operation. It sits very well on my bed side table and I’m so pleased with the exceptional detailed sound from such a compact speaker I have ordered another .
I own the soundlink flex. For me its probably the best bluetooth speaker on the market for practicality and sound quality. I have owned and returned the sony xg300, jbl extreme 3, Marshall Middleton. This thing wins in the end. If you want something bigger and louder then i think the Soundcore motion boom plus is the best thing in that category. However your compromising practicality. I mainly listen to hip hop and urban music. The flex is perfect when listening to the radio BBC radio 1 xtra.
@ib5131 Most people don’t care about a spec sheet, but rather what their ears hear. In this video the Flex sounded clearer. Motion sounded tinny. I tried another raved Chinese speaker, Uboom L and returned it. Sounded too boxy. Materials quality is likely the difference.
Not a fair sound comparison in that doing the Xtra Bass on the Motion 300 muddys the sound. It not only sounds better with that feature off, but has enough bass on its own, given the size of the speaker. I haven't heard the BOSE. It may be better, but your audio sample doesn't do the Motion 300 justice. You're accurate that the 9-band equalizer helps improve the sound over its built in settings.
I also have 2. You would never think 2 small speakers like them produce such good sound. Having 2 gives you a good balance. I nearly returned one but quickly changed my mind!
@@Concionator I'm actually in the same boat as you two. I got one speaker for barbecueing, travel. Got a second one. Definitely takes away from portability if I have to carry around both, but my goodness, stereo mode between the two of them is so satisfying. That said, I'm still considering returning one of them and getting some Bose QC headphones to spare my wife of the constant music and noise LOL.
Just got my bose flex in green color, the sound is amazing but my favorite speaker is my jbl go3 , the portability makes it so easy to carry with me all the time lol
You should check out the Bose SoundLink Micro it’s like the go3 in size but it has a back strap for putting it on a bike handle etc. and imo it has more bass and clarity. The only downside is it has the old charger. But otherwise 10/10 compact speaker.
Just landed a Motion 300 (green) on an Amazon deal of £60 down from its usual £90 here in the UK. Yes the Bose is certainly sexier/classier and sounds a little better and clearer (without EQ) BUT as it tends to firmly stick at its RRP £150 price tag, it is seriously not worth the 2.5x uplift. It really is very close and fiddling with the EQ helps enormously on the 300 so I am pretty darn happy with my scoop ! The ONLY way to see which you prefer is to test side by side, then take the price into consideration. My money VERY happily went to Anker on this particular purchase.
The motion 300 actually sounds like it has more depth from this video. The bose sounded like the mids were turned up, which can be changed in the motion 300's EQ. Personally I like the mids to be slightly lower than the bass and treble for some depth and less flat sounding signature. But each person will vary. Both seem like outstanding quality
I just got the motion 300 today and ive already had the bose flex. Both of these bad boys are incredible. But i have to be honest. The 300 is not that impressive at 1st until u adjust the EQ on the app to ur likings and it makes it sound 100 times better. The 300 blows the flex away. Unbelievable for the price. U have to hear it in person to believe it. It stands as one of my favorite speakers at the moment and i have alot of em. Very nice sound and powerful
@@BarbarraBay gotta hear this in person. It's very close. The bose sounds INCREDIBLE strait out the box, the sound core 300 sounds mediocre until u adjust the EQ then u will hear a BIG difference.
Thank you for a great video! I was considering either a Soundlink mini II or the Flex as a gift. Probably will go with a Flex 💪 My father loves when the sound from the speaker is clean and clear
The Bose soundlink Flex sounds way better, more clarity, more bass, warmer mids... I'm really happy to owne one. I just wish Bose release a bigger Wifi Speaker that sounds this good in the future, for my living room.
It is amazing how this little thing puts out such amazing sound. For listening at low volumes it does a very good job even in my living room when you put it in a corner next to the wall. But indeed it will be great if they make a bigger brother.
The soundcore motion 300 has a 9-band adjustable eq. The bose SoundLink flex does not. I think the soundcore motion 300 sounds clearer and more open plus I think it’s a little louder than the bose SoundLink flex, Depending on what you have the EQ set to. But I definitely say the bose is a little bit better for the sound quality though.
Yea but it does have the benefit of EQ & LDAC mode So that being said i got the Soundlink Flex as a gift.. Would you recommend i stay w it or go to the Motion 300?
@@ib5131PLEASE READ: The SoundLink Flex has a little bit better sound quality at loud volumes/max volume but I do like the adjust EQ on the SoundCore Motion 300. And when I stereo pair 2 motion 300’s together they connect instantly. You set it up once and then from then on you just turn both of them on and they connect to one another. The Motion 300 sounds clearer, louder, and I think it sounds boomier depending on how you adjust the EQ. But the bose still sounds a little bit better at louder volumes I’d say. The bass sounds tight on the SoundLink flex but on the motion 300 on some sound tracks depending on what you have the EQ set to, the bass will sound like it has a lag to it/sounds laggy The speaker starts off in SoundCores Sound Signature but you can manually go in an adjust the EQ. I personally think the SoundCore’s sound signature mode sounds too muffled. But that’s just me.
i had the Bose sound linkflex and misplaced it, didnt want to pay $130+ for a new one. I picked up the soundcore motion 300 and was pretty satisfied, its a good value. the bose does sound better but not $50 better.
It's way better if use "arrow mark" while sound comparison. It's a little bit confusing if use "shadow" mark like on the videos, we are not sure which one playing right now😅
In my opinion. SoundLink flex gives you more clarity where the M300 is more robust. Kind of depends on what you prefer, or what types of music you listen to. Don't think you lose with either one here
Bose is 30% more expensive. The sound is excellent, but it doesn't play 30% better in my opinion. In terms of price/quality ratio, Soundcore leads... My opinion
I think Soundcore motion 300 sounds better and it has much better built quality. I recently got Soundcore motion 300. Excellent value for money compared with Bose

@@CEONTHEMAKING yeh thts the deal on in the uk for to pre order the boom 2 plus . And I tell u what I like what I see so far from both of these speakers. Thankx to you as you always convinced me to buy speakers and headphones after watching your videos lol
The Bose was phenomenal and exceptional sound, as far as bass & treble the quality precisely tuned & clear . Whereas , Soundcore motion, the sound quality is muffled & muddy, the clarity is poor. The edge of Soundcore over Bose is the price.
I mean I get it if you love Bose and the brand, but 300 is on sale right now (in Canada) for CA$80 vs Flex at CA$190, and Bose isn't possibly $110 better. In fact they sound very close to my ears with Bose having a touch more clarity and definition.
