Creative. First time I ever used my tower. I think my tower springs are too short. I can’t reach them lying down. Can I add additional straps to lengthen them?
Is there a way of lowering your tower springs? My tower has several places the springs can go. So I can lower them to make it closer. I also have changed to the elements straps. Those are a little longer. That might help too.
Got it, April. I have a 4x8 mat that folds in 4 so I closed it up and put it under the machine and it fits beautifully! Very firm and now it raises me up 11"!! Hurray.

April, I am on the shorter side...just about 5' tall. I use an Allegro reformer/tower. When I do the exercises with the tower springs on my legs I have trouble coming back towards the footbar, I just kind of float and drift towards the tower. Any suggestions? Lower the tower spring to the next lowest hook? More reformer springs? Thanks!
Yes. Both of the use would work. For my clients who are shorter I have the infinity footbar so I move that footbar closer to them but adding weight would also work and moving the tower straps lower would also work.
Rory, I have the same issue. Long torso and very short legs. I tried moving the foot barre in further as well as moving the yellow springs down but I still had trouble. Adding extra weight was not an option for me. My best suggestion is choosing to do the class without the yellow springs or just enjoy April's other classes. I wish my legs were longer because I really wanted to do this class.

I love your classes April!! I have a STOTT Tower/Reformer with long white (not yellow) straps-Im assuming they are interchangeable?
I think that is correct. The white Stott should be the same as the yellow balanced body.

April what tower spring tension is being used for this class
I have the long, yellow springs on in the middle where the push through bar hooks in. Hope that helps.
