Hi! For the twin needle, you may need to fuss with the tension and presser foot pressure, as well as the stitch length. I’ve had this issue too and on my machine, the “normal” stitch tension is ~5-6 and I have to turn it down to 2 for the twin needle. I also use a longer stitch length, and leave long thread tails at the beginning and end. DO NOT backstitch- this will create a tangle. What you need to do is tie the thread tails in a knot at the beginning and end. Hope this helps!
