You still see people urinating into gutters from time to time. I even saw this gentleman defecate into the ocean at Elmira castle; while foreign tourists were around. You can imagine what a scene like that would have on foreigners. I really hope authorities start to seriously enforce sanitation laws in Ghana.

But even that, if u are travelling from to Kumasi for instance, u will find Linda Dor along the way where there are decent restrooms. Then again he said Ghana is made up of mud houses and even in Accra. He could have said the area where he went had mud houses.

So yea, you see it in one guy going to one place and telling the story to encompass a whole country. Dude, visit the whole of Ghana then your story would be authentic. Or say “ where I visited “ qualify your story well.
He's just telling his experience never said this was how Ghana is everywhere. I actually think he visited the BEST PART. The village is better than the city in terms of sustainability, respect of nature, and even friendliness! This is what makes us unique and we should be proud.

He must've stayed in the rural areas. There are plenty of public restrooms in the city. Most of them are good and have toilet paper. You might want to have to or wipes as a back up in case a restroom youuse is out.
