It's really nice to see a capsule with colours rather than the all neutral capsules most bloggers do, probably because putting neutrals together is so much easier than colours.

An interesting video might be a check-in after a season to hear how the capsule went. Was there an item that didn't get used very much, did you end up with a favorite outfit from your capsule? I'd be especially interested since you pointed out certain items that may not get much use.
Last years I have created two summer capsules: normal summer and really hot capsule (I live in the southern part of Poland and the weather is similar to New York city around). I was in Boston and other cities around and then in French part of Canada in August 2018 and there were extremely hot and I suppose that your tweed and jeans are too thick for really hot summer in NYC. I agree with you in previous video that summer capsule is completely different and it isn't useful in other seasons. I realized that I have only solid clothes without patterns. Thanks to you I think more and more about pattern in my wardrobe. Your summer capsule is really awesome and easy mix and match even patterns :) Great video like always with a lot of useful information.
I love these videos and when you show us all the outfits. I would to see a “what I wore in a week video”. I would like to see how you work in your basics into your seasonal capsules. Or, do you truly only wear the outfits you show here all season?
Excited for next week! Especially love the shorts and the blue skirt! In Texas we really can't wear any poly at all in summer. I tried to wear a poly breezy anthro dress and was SWEATING. 😂
I agree with you that denim, the tweed skirt or the synthetic dress can’t really be worn in an NYC summer. It really gets so hot, I only like wearing light flowy cotton or linen clothes

You take bigger & bolder risks with pattern, but everything you choose beautifully pairs together🍷. 🤫Have no itention of getting my colors analyzed👩🔬, but I've been happier since figuring out my skin tone is neutral. It's certainly explained why I gravitate toward certain tones or shades & avoid others. Do tend to like darker solid colors, but I do own some pastels as well as a few medium tones. Prefer a crisp white or silvery gray over all other light neutrals. Can’t believe I haven’t done it before.

Just ordered a Nordgreen watch yesterday. A Native watch in gold with a two-tone band to go with my muted autumn colors. I love that they have different sizes of the watch face to fit different wrist sizes! The unika watch is so beautiful as well.
I have that same pair of Adidas sneakers and they are THE MOST comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I just bought a second pair of grand court adidas in a second color scheme because they are such a go to for me
Really enjoyed the way you have taken us through the process this time and included the shopping trip (which made me feel better than I’m not the only one who struggles with the fit of clothes). Will be interesting to see if the jeans and first skirt do get used much as I know I’d end up passing them by in summer as I hate being too hot! Having had my colours done following your video, it certainly does help with harmonising your wardrobe and making it naturally mix and match.
Such a fun collection! I always love seeing capsule wardrobes with color! :D And of course I'm curious to see your outfits video! I'm wondering if you could ever do a video on creating silhouettes and mixing clothing pieces with different fits. I always gravitate towards skinny jeans, which look best on me with a more loose fitting top. But then I have tops that I like that are more form fitting but don't look that nice with skinny jeans.. And then the more flowy tops etc don't look that well with baggier pants for example... I'm struggling so hard with this!
Fernanda! I just had a color analysis and discovered I’m a bright winter! This was totally unexpected, as I’m so pale with blonde hair and blue eyes I was expecting to be a summer or something along those lines. I have a few pieces in my colors, so im excited to see how I’ll style them for work, summer, and into fall. I’m just excited that black and white work well for me haha
As a soft medium-deep winter I love your colour choice! I tend to harmonize blues and magentas, reds or boysenberry a lot! When choosing a print, I always make sure the background is black or a deep blue. My hair lightens in summer, so pure purple and fuschias don't fit me anymore at that moment of the year... but grass or medium olive green comes in my wardrobe (olive linen pieces are a classic).

Could you dye any of your current basics to match your new colours? Rit dye has a HUGE colour chart and if the clothes are light neturals and natural fibres, they'll probably dye well. Might be worth a try!

And I’ve recently discovered my color season as well, so I love seeing other people incorporate that aspect to wardrobe building. I would love to know if you have a target number of colors that you aim for in your capsules? I’m developing my color palette for a fall capsule and this is my first attempt at a capsule and soft autumn color capsule.
You have dark hair and light skin like I did. It looks very pretty on you. I am older 57. My hair is grey white and my brows are light now so I went totally blond. I think because my skin is so light it worked well. It looks good on me too lots of people have said. You may want to try this at some point if you get bored with your look.

She was embarrassed and swore off Teddy Blake for life despite loving their designs/colors. Would be curious to know if you had a similarly unfortunate experience or if she just happened to get a lemon!
Yes, I still have them and they do work with two of the tops in this capsule! I didn't include them in the capsule because I'm not building around them. What I found is when I did have them in there, I was specifically looking for tops / shoes that would work with those, and that's the opposite of what I'm trying to create. This way, I can still wear them, but I'm not buying things to make something work that I will eventually phase out.

Fellow winter here. Sometimes I pair bright tops with khaki or olive to make it feel more summery 🌈
I don't have any of those colors in bottoms... Maybe Stone would work though!
