Hey, anyone listening can A) See Burton’s body language, and B) here the weakness of his clean vocals and I think come to the very obvious conclusion that his voice blown out. That was entirely from injured vocal chords. Good on him for gutting it out, because he looked like he was just frustrated as shit trying to make it work On another note- Dino’s playing and tone were crushing!
I know the set list was the entirety of the Demanufacter album, but I think in any FF concert, they should base the set list on what Burton sings mostly on first. Then they should do the screaming songs later on because the constant barrage of vocal chord irritation is trashing his clean vocals. It’s either that or he should get someone else to do the clean parts live. That’s just my two cents.
Those vocals..........not his best work. He looked hammered (no pun intended). A few sessions with a vocal coach would have been beneficial. I'll just add that I couldn't sing a note to be honest with you but if you're putting on a live show for thousands of fans and you sing like that you have to be prepared for some criticism to come your way. I love Fear Factory.
Jesus this is sad. I saw them at Slims in San Francisco in 2016 on the Demanufacture tour and he sounded as good as ever. Bought the VIP tickets and hung out with the band in a pizza parlor we took over because the venue didnt have the VIP area setup in time. Hard to believe that was only 2 months before this disaster. Glad all the times I got to see them were better than this.
Nice videos, nice to hear that Burton used some kind of background track for the clean vocals. :D Love them though, one of my favorite bands since the overall sound and Obsolete grew on me!
I love the instrumental!!!! I first discovered this playing Carmageddon as a kid. His soft vocals is killer a though. It sounds like he's lost his voice and and his vocals are destroyed. Fear Factory are one of my all time metal bands.
wen I saw them it was godly!!!! but playing shows back to back does take a toll on vocalists it's a pain in the ass forcing heavy vocals when ur voice in worn out
I've seen Burton do some bad shows, but holy moly...this is probably the absolute worst shape he's ever been in. I don't know how he could still go on stage in good conscience.

All other band members should be angry at the singer. Guitar, bass, (EVEN DRUMS!) sounded record-quality. The singer sounded like he was gargling sweat from a dead bull's balls. Reminds me of Vince Neil....
It voice sounds fucked after all the years pleasing the fans like myself with his harsh vocals. The drummer did look like he was cringing at the beginning
