Oh what I would have given for information like this back when I started trapping in the early 70's and throughout the fur boom. Kids today haven't a clue how good these videos are.
Great job on the video. I have not trapped until 10 years ago and I am still learning every time I set a trap. But the last 2 years I have not been able to set them due to my current condition. I am going to try to get that tool. 😊
If its worth anything, I showed Bob Custer (S-hook guy) how I opened swivel rivets (J-hooks) and S-hooks with my Felco C-7 almost 20 years ago. He left his Table at the NTA Convention and started showing Hansen and the rest of those close by how easy it was to open S-hooks and such. Less than 4 years later this tool you are showing showed up for trappers. I still use an old pair of knockoff C-7's to open these hooks while in the field when things are froze and can retrieve trap but the anchor is solid until the spring thaw....................... the mike
Allan check out the NO-BS High Desert Spears ( The Original O’Gorman design). They are much heavier duty and made of higher quality Steel, than the Wolf Fangs.
New to trapping (2 years). I’m looking for tips on trapping coyote/fox in wooded areas. I saw some tips from you on feild edges and brushy fields. But what about a property that is wooded and ravines?
Great video. Thank you

That is awesome!
I must admit I am not a very good water trapper. I do great on fox, coyotes and cats. But I also live in south west Wyoming my river is not very big
Thank you for sharing my friend!
