So I think the best thing to do here is to build contraption that is set-up next to the corn. Then have a timer, logic, and a Controller, to knock down the corn on a swing arm. Then with the vacuum pump on the arm to pick up the corn. The timer would count how long it takes regrow. Not sure how many you need daisy chained to work, but seems possible to me.
Well now you could build a fully automatic glowpoop farm like you and kan talked about in the episode when you made the first explosives. And then you could actually use those explosives on farmbots like you tried to!
Can see an application to add the pumps on my defenses. sensor driven drill crushers around the walls. they would collect what is left over ok, but it seems a bit of a pointless upgrade when u can run round n collect them in like 10 seconds anyway lol. that said im all about creating overly complex solutions to problems i didnt really have lol

I have an idea: base defense harvester. After a raid you can drive around with a resource collector AND a pump now to pick up circuits/compkits. Or, if not drive, build a mechanism that will pick everything up at the click of a button (think like an autofarm)

11:00 I think your trailer problem is that the drawbar has the left right pivot by the ATV and the up/down pivot by the trailer. it'd probably act a lot better if you could figure out how to put both pivot points on the ATV side of the drawbar.

(If i were to guess it would probably suck water, but id like to know if you put an oil in every spot of a chest so it only accepts oil would it suck the oil?) Working entirely based around building machines and contraptions, they really do not let you automate a whole lot in survival. What’s the point without automation in survival? Especially with how terrible it is to collect large amounts of resources for any project of any size
I had an idea for a car combining your farmer grabbing claw and the vacuum pumps into a garbage truck frame. Add spud guns to the front and back so you never need to get out while looting
You should have a farm on an island if you don't already Also an anti-aircraft trailer would be cool in co-op, car and trailer both armored and you can use the trailer against the bots
I literally just tried to build one of these auto feeders last weekend. Unfortunately I didn't test it first, I just assumed corn could be placed - if only I had watched this first! So after a two hour build, it didn't work :( I was able to salvage most of the work and made it into a glowbug feeder instead.
The first bit of this video is kosmo not understanding the concept of the update and me, just as tired as he is, shouting at my monitor that this allows you to collect everything as you completely lay waste to the landscape without having to get out of your vehicle. But in a more civilized tone, this really is just for faster collection. Everyone complained about the corn being indestructible vs vehicles (which was legit bs) and then they complained about having to manually pick it all up. We're just a few more million complaints away from vacuum pumps being able to yeet out explosive canisters. Everyone will try it out with their set up way too close and they'll lose a large chest, vacuum pump, and explosives all in 1 go. Then the next set of complaints will rush in.
Keep the scrap trailer because if it get broken your not wasteing resources on it for new wood so this way you can just chop down almost any tree to fix it
Your ATV turns so badly because you're using an electric engine. They have a fixed rpm value with really high torque and that's why each wheel has the same angular velocity. But the inner wheel has to travel less distance (that's why cars have differentials), so each wheel can spin at their own angular velocity. Gas Engines have a really high rpm value, but low torque that's why the inner wheel can spin slower.

Not sure if someone said this or said it in a later video, but chests have 3 connection points so you can attach a pump to each one.
Actually, your problem was the rear suspension... You should make it stiffer, so it would compensate for the extra wheight of the trailer...

Try making a fully automated amber harvester using water cannons/ sawblades and the pumps!
I tried cutting amber trees with sawblades today and it wouldn't cut the trees down!

If you have some corn near your base you can make an automated corn farm
A mounted Spud Gun can break loot chests.
Even water from a bucket can break loot crates

kosmo you need to make the atv made of metal so it cant wheeles bc of the weight but if you chage the metal you need gas engine thats the tip :)
