Loved this video. I am currently grinding solo with my Druid as a straight companion class during the main story. It’s working pretty good as it gives me a enough burst AOE damage, and resiliency to make it fun.
My goodness, I LOVE how all that combos! It usually takes me a while (second playthrough?) before I start to truly understand a games combo affects. Xenoblade X is one notable example for me where the first playthrough was fun, but the second REALLY blasted through enemies once I understood how to stack passives. This is such a useful video for someone like me.
i saw this ingame and i was just stunned ,poor me making a werewolf poison build by myself and taking my sweet time killing mobs when a bear guy walks in and clears all the mobs this way....anyway now i found how they did it so thank you.
Veeery nice video with bonus points to the added visual description of what you are saying! One tip on druid I don't see many talking about is how 1h+totem makes the gameplay more fluid with the added atk speed/resource generation!
I have a level 50 Barbarian, level 27 sorcerer, and have been playing a druid now that is level 48. Though I gotta say, Druid has been the most fun so I already decided to focus on that one. Been playing around with Earth spells and recently started mixing in some Storm with great effect. But that Trample, man looking forward to testing that!
This is why i love Druid. I’m not even level 50 yet and ive played four different builds. All fun and all different. Keep in mind im not trying to make the best build im just finding synergy between gear and abilities and going off that and yet its still fun.
Yeah you start of slow, I was getting frustrated switching out my builds constantly at level 15, but once I hit lvl 25 I was fully aware of what the Druid can do.
The best classes are easily Necromancer and Druid because the companions let you pretend you have friends I also felt that if you name each of them the bond between player and virtual companions strengthens even further.
@@Larimuss I assume you both value companions for their, well, _companionship,_ and thus that constitutes being "OP", which is fine :p In case anyone else with OCPD here reads this, then no, companions are not even remotely OP and not part of any meta (that I know of)😅 That being said, I will make a new Necro when the first season arrives and I'll make one of them into a minion master, it seems fun/interesting to try out (My most fun build so far is - thought out from scratch btw but apparently partly one meta although mine has some variation - poison/trap/cooldown rogue. I got an achievement casting 3 ults in under a minute, I didn't even know that existed. Besides that, he's jumping around all over and arrogantly leaving stuff to die to poison and also having fun trying to always keep skills off of cooldown. It's a bit tricky to play and get used to but lord is it fun (caltrops is a trap skill and you must have -evade cd timer on attacks on boots)
It's fun to play druid because you can be a melee or a range, you have 2 types of form-shifting, companions, decent AOE and defensive skills, you can use fortify and poisoning. There is a plenty of combinations. I was rebuilding my character few times during campaign based on gear and gameplay was changing significant.
It looks incredible. I a low level druid, lvl 20. I have been using storm surge and pulverize along with creeper but this looks like so much fun. I might respec tonight and try it. I am worried though as right now I am paying no attention to armor or gear. I am just checking to see if the damage or protection is higher. I am not currently looking at any buffs
I started with this build and then started swapping into a storm/poison focus. Now i apply rabies which also acts as a storm skill, trample through with the landslides, then channel lightning for big damage. If my trample procs lightning then i immediately go to full charge for the lightning strikes and clear the screen. Oh and the lightning can spread poison and send little lighning seekers across the ground. Druid is bananas at 60+
I loves me my Bearicane build. Basic: Maul. Core: Pulverize. Defense: Debilitating Roar. No Companion - Unless you get good gear with the "Wolves become werewolves aspect". Hurricane and Trample off that third last tree. And the Dire Werebear ultimate. Takes care of heals, damage resistance, versatility, and a decent amount of damage output when you get gear and passives to boost overpower damage.
First diablo game that I started playing and have enjoyed, druid is the first class I decided to play and have been hooked for the last 2 hours. I am new new to the game and druid has made it so fun, I feel so op😂
I definietly plan to spend some time with every class, but I'm maining Barb right now. I made a really fun berserking build and just found the aspect that makes me do aoe fire dmg while I'm berserking. Feels like my rage is fire!!

Started Druid and played a good amount. Then tried Barb a bit. Back to Druid. Then tried Necro a bit. Back to Druid and haven’t played anything else since. Level 65. Edit: wait, wait, wait…Nature’s Fury auto casts the spells and you don’t have to be spec’d into them? Ok, I underestimated that passive.
You don't have to commit points to skills you want proc by Nature's Fury, by default the game will cast those skills at level 1. If you invest skill points into the skills and nodes they will be taken into account and do the upgraded damage!
I'm doing: Boulder against a wall, which pushes enemies close enough to walls so that I can use a rank 7 Trample in that direction and get guaranteed stuns on every enemy caught on the boulder's path. If anything is still alive, then I hit them with Pulverize, which my aspects have made into an Earth spell that deals huge bonus damage percentage to stunned enemies (the ones caught by the Boulder+Trample combo) and creates rocks that continually damage enemies in the affected area. And because of the way I set up my other aspects, almost all of these, if not all, come out overpowered. I also have an Earthen Bulwark that explodes when it wears off and my basic attacks deal like double the regular damage AND empower my Pulverize casts. Full spell list I'm running is Boulder, Trample, Pulverize, Earthen Bulwark, Grizzly Rage+Debilitating Roar, and the basic but reliable Bear Slap™ (I think it's actually called Maul) I'm just lvl 45 now but my big druid lady is already feeling pretty strong.
I am in this boat as well. got my druid to 25, and coming from D2 I felt it wasn't satisfying to play. I started doin nightmare dungeons with my friend and was sick to death of my pulverize bear build. Switched to a Nature's Fury build where I trade off earth and storm skills and it's real button mashy and a lot of fun (and pretty effective)!
Switch ON please detailed description of gear characteristics in game settings. U will love it. How do u get fast reset of Trample so fast? This build is pure joy, thank u.
Love the Druid. Loved him since D2R. Druid lets you strategize on how to survive and do big damage. Everything isnt just hadnded to you like some other builds. You get progressively stronger throughout play through instead coming straight out OP. I love this aspect of the game
If you're using a shape-shifting build, find the aspect that gives you life and Fortify when you shape-shift. You can build 100% fortify in like 2 seconds, and facetank almost anything as long as you keep it up by switching forms. Combine that with the barrier aspect and you're pretty much unkillable. I haven't died since WT2 and I'm level 70 something just got to WT4. Also, Trample, Earthen Bulwark, and Grizzly Rage all give you the Unstoppable status that makes you immune to crowd control
Great video as usual. Any chance of posting your full trample build for those of us lazy slackers out there? I’ve been running the pulverize build but having put my only shockwave aspect on my weapon too early has tanked my progress. Pretty sure I have the gear to make this work.
That's why you put your most important offensive aspect on an amulet when leveling. That still gives you 1.5x the value and lets you keep changing the weapon to drastically improve the damage while leveling.
@@GeorgeFlorian12 Yep I was aware, stupidly thought I'd passed that point based on what the maxroll guide I was following said. Won't make that mistake again.
I just noted one thing. Terramote crit is capped at 40%. You miss out a *TON* of potential damage by capping it. It's better to not have that at all. You'll do *TONS* more damage with regular crits, and I don't care what any guide says lol (though I bet they'd agree with me) You can somewhat easily get over 300% bonus crit damage depending on your class or build... If you have anything above ~25% crit average when using skills I think it mathematically will get hard to justify guaranteed 40% crits unless you have synergy with something else that requires critical hits.
I used the same buidl! Yey! This build is OP. Just hope it doesn't get nerfed. Mix it up with the +2 to all Earth Skills if you have fortitude item (since your trample is now earth), Slow by X when hit by Earth Skills (then mix with the Earth skill tree that does more damage with CC), reduce CD by X if you trigger force of nature, or use the +X damage when you have barrier. There's actually a lot of things you can mix up with this build, but the key is the landslide-trample item skill - which can only be acquired through items.
ngl, u make me choose druid for season 2 Edit: Trying druid in season one rn, Im lvl 12 using claw as regeneration skill since have chance to attack faster and twice, pulverize as aoe core skill, wolfs and ravens for more aoe + single dmg and earth bulwark as defense. Im cleaning all mobs packs, elites and bosses really fast and hope it getting better as I use later ur build elements. Im having so much fun ty!
I used to go overpower earth pulverize with shockwave so I can clear the whole screen with 5k damage 1-2x with good positioning. Then the game kept giving me landslide aspects. Yesterday I just tried poison vine that stuns (gives landslide stacks) and procs landslides 2x due to the double landslide aspect. Then right after it gave me Trample landslide... With this, improved earthen bulkward and hurricane for the cc, storm strike and Nature's Fury, having lots of fun running around as I destroy everything in my path.
I’m only lvl 22 but I really like Druid. I use the companion skill quite a lot as they don’t cost any spirit, I’d love that trample landslide ability tho!
I'm level 47 with the Druid and have been having fun for some time now. But there's absolutely no reason for the class to suffer so much early on. Blizzard desperately need to improve the early game. Having played Rogue and Sorcerer to 25 I can say it's a different world with fast attacks, little to no downtime and each battle taking a tenth of the time. Only once the legendaries started dropping did Druid become viable. I hope they can change the numbers and give low level Druid players a more enjoyable experience.
For real, I`m level 32 in WT2 and struggling with a current boss, I have changed my build multiple times, but its still so hard to beat them when I do. Everything else besides bosses, im killing easily though. Im running currently Pulverize + Tramp + poison ultimate
Started with Rogue and got him up to lv 60, tried switching to druid and realiseing that play rogue is playing on easy mode! But ive seen so many op druid builds so i will endure💪 only lv 45 but i will get there hopefully 😊
The best druid build is storm druid with hurricane and cyclone armor with creepers. Can clear a room in seconds and take out bosses in seconds with the storm ultimate too.
Building a Lightning Focused Druid just to see. I’m just starting playing and almost hard quit the class also but then figured I should challenge myself and focus. Once I simplified down to JUST STORM STUFF wow! I am super happy with the class! ⚡️ ⛈️ ⚡️

That's really rad! I have been building my druid to be a werebear with heavy on the companions, pulverize is my to go. Ive been looking fur the shockwave I had it once and I was loving it. but I scrapped it fur a higher wpn not realizing I could have taken the ability using a vender
i been struggling to find a druid build i like . I have made several up myself . I have copied other peoples . this looks like the most fun a druid could be I have seen so far . kudos to you for doing this .
I solo'd the capstone for T4 on level 58 with a similar build. Basically one-shotting everything 12 levels above me lol. Took me around 15 secs to kill the boss.
I'm not a "mathematically perfect" kind of build guy. My strong suite is combining the right synergies. So, if I didn't explain it, the rest of the build is your own call.
True story for you... (Long story, you've been warned.) I made Druid my first character, got to level 50 and couldn't understand why I had so much trouble even killing in the Tier 2 world level. I spent a good 100+ hours on druid, going between world 1 and trying 2 when I would get an upgrade or 2 and would blaze through world 1. I watched every build guide looking for something that would help to just push me over the hump, and every guide was telling me "Just use ___ Unique 4head"... I literally had 0 Uniques drop (besides the one you get in the story) in 100+hr of play. I gave up on Druid. I made a Rogue, and coasted through into T3. I made a Barbarian, and coasted through into T3. I made a Necro, and coasted through into T3. I made a Sorc, and coasted through into T3. I went back to my Druid with all of the knowledge that I had gained, ready to take on the world! I go into T2 and just hit like a wet noodle, popping all of my potions on every little fight. I wake up the next day, and tell myself "Alright, I need to restart fresh. Druid can't be this bad, there is something wrong with my character." I delete my Druid. I made a NEW Druid, and coasted through into T3. Uniques started dropping, and I was able to make a build that didn't hit like a wet noodle. Since yesterday I got to 56, and I am just annihilating the entire screen in like 1-2 seconds. Moral of the story is that if your Druid feels weak, it is clearly a bug and you need to delete it and start a new one.
I gotta give this a try. I got murdered in pvp repeatedly by rogues yesterday and that caused me to reroll barbarian. But i am going to give this a try it looks very powerful. Thanks
The build I've been using is the werewolf storm build. It's really powerful to take all those storm spells and add poison to them. I do also like the Earth build with trample, I use that for most of the end game and campaign.
Honestly speaking I am very likely one of the worst gamers out there. The very first Diablo came out and that is when I started gaming, it was a bond my son and I created. At 60 a lot of how to read gear and synegy escapes me. But I am trying my hand a Druid and this was a great video. Is there a link to the build that I can inspect and apply? If not I get it. Im just messing around with lightning and posion abilites and building around critical strikes/chances. I love this character fantasy + it looks cool(which is the most important)
Personally I have been avoiding using landslide because I was told that it is for close range but after forcing myself and trying it... Landslide is awesome. For now I'm playing as Storm Druid because of Spirit issues
I am using lightning storm build infused with a pinch of trample build. I dont rely on procs, it does really good damage so far at t3, I have found a ring that smites down huge lightnings on every lightning crits and when earth skill CD procs, trample adds a burst or shield covers my arse. The only downside for me, I cant use Crow for double buffs. I lack that 5% crit chance. Because I need overpower and lightning damage proc both on snake. Btw, lightning storm proccing landslide is so satisfying...
My biggest issue with Druid is that he is really lacking if you don’t get the legendary aspect you need for your build: shockwave for pulverize, the trample slide aspect, the tempest roar etc. He’s very hear dependant
Hmm yeah, you can make some nice builds with the codex, but to play what you WANT is dependant on drops. I would say druid is synergy dependant, more than gear. Usually it's not just stacking damage bonuses, but making one part of your build work with another
Bro if aspects are problem for you then i think you havnt even finish campaign. First finish campaign, get to T4 and then think about serious builds. Campaign can be finished with any noob build.

I did the same thing on day one, druid feels really bad in the low levels...and I have the same love for this build...currently at level 33 and still can't find any useful aspects...still feels pretty bad...
Been having a similar experience, but I found that the bolts from lightning storm take terrain like walls into account. If you can force elites up against a wall with cyclone armor or kite a boss to a wall the bolts will group up and make for more consistent single target damage, best of luck to you!
@@herbi6419 I actually got a little lucky and got a ring where tornado targets up to three targets so now I use that build and feel like I'm doing some good stuff now.
Just grab all the lightning passives and fry people with lightning storm. It gets pretty nuts with overcharged aspect and your other standard codices. Bosses ten levels above me melt in 10 seconds
picked druid as first character, quit at lv 45 couldn't stand the dmg i was dealing (0). picked sorc after and had way more fun, now im burned from sorc and wanna try druid again.. wish me luck

Just got to LVL 52 Druid and he's starting to kick some ass now!! Very slow burn in early game but I am feeling the power!

Druid is op been face tanking everything until tier 3. Now it’s just sorta dangerous if i get stun locked.

Mix it up with the +2 to all Earth Skills if you have fortitude item (since your trample is now earth), Slow by X when hit by Earth Skills (then mix with the Earth skill tree that does more damage with CC), reduce CD by X if you trigger force of nature, or use the +X damage when you have barrier. There's actually a lot of things you can mix up with this build, but the key is the landslide-trample item skill - which can only be acquired through items.

Edit: Trying druid in season one rn, Im lvl 12 using claw as regeneration skill since have chance to attack faster and twice, pulverize as aoe core skill, wolfs and ravens for more aoe + single dmg and earth bulwark as defense. Im cleaning all mobs packs, elites and bosses really fast and hope it getting better as I use later ur build elements. Im having so much fun ty!
I used to go overpower earth pulverize with shockwave so I can clear the whole screen with 5k damage 1-2x with good positioning. Then the game kept giving me landslide aspects. Yesterday I just tried poison vine that stuns (gives landslide stacks) and procs landslides 2x due to the double landslide aspect. Then right after it gave me Trample landslide... With this, improved earthen bulkward and hurricane for the cc, storm strike and Nature's Fury, having lots of fun running around as I destroy everything in my path.

Werebear pulverize build is pretty good. Combined with the shockwave aspect is room clearing joy.

I’m only lvl 22 but I really like Druid. I use the companion skill quite a lot as they don’t cost any spirit, I’d love that trample landslide ability tho!

I'm level 47 with the Druid and have been having fun for some time now. But there's absolutely no reason for the class to suffer so much early on. Blizzard desperately need to improve the early game. Having played Rogue and Sorcerer to 25 I can say it's a different world with fast attacks, little to no downtime and each battle taking a tenth of the time. Only once the legendaries started dropping did Druid become viable. I hope they can change the numbers and give low level Druid players a more enjoyable experience.
For real, I`m level 32 in WT2 and struggling with a current boss, I have changed my build multiple times, but its still so hard to beat them when I do. Everything else besides bosses, im killing easily though. Im running currently Pulverize + Tramp + poison ultimate
Watch them nerf his endgame builds instead 😞
Lvl 51 here. Whenever I find legendaries for Earth/Wind it tends to be fun as hell.

Druid has been my main in every game it exists in... but diablo 2 and now diablo 4 have been my favorite version of the class.

Started with Rogue and got him up to lv 60, tried switching to druid and realiseing that play rogue is playing on easy mode! But ive seen so many op druid builds so i will endure💪 only lv 45 but i will get there hopefully 😊
The best druid build is storm druid with hurricane and cyclone armor with creepers. Can clear a room in seconds and take out bosses in seconds with the storm ultimate too.

That's really rad! I have been building my druid to be a werebear with heavy on the companions, pulverize is my to go. Ive been looking fur the shockwave I had it once and I was loving it. but I scrapped it fur a higher wpn not realizing I could have taken the ability using a vender

I solo'd the capstone for T4 on level 58 with a similar build. Basically one-shotting everything 12 levels above me lol. Took me around 15 secs to kill the boss.

True story for you... (Long story, you've been warned.)
I made Druid my first character, got to level 50 and couldn't understand why I had so much trouble even killing in the Tier 2 world level. I spent a good 100+ hours on druid, going between world 1 and trying 2 when I would get an upgrade or 2 and would blaze through world 1.
I watched every build guide looking for something that would help to just push me over the hump, and every guide was telling me "Just use ___ Unique 4head"...
I literally had 0 Uniques drop (besides the one you get in the story) in 100+hr of play.
I gave up on Druid.
I made a Rogue, and coasted through into T3.
I made a Barbarian, and coasted through into T3.
I made a Necro, and coasted through into T3.
I made a Sorc, and coasted through into T3.
I went back to my Druid with all of the knowledge that I had gained, ready to take on the world! I go into T2 and just hit like a wet noodle, popping all of my potions on every little fight.
I wake up the next day, and tell myself "Alright, I need to restart fresh. Druid can't be this bad, there is something wrong with my character."
I delete my Druid.
I made a NEW Druid, and coasted through into T3. Uniques started dropping, and I was able to make a build that didn't hit like a wet noodle. Since yesterday I got to 56, and I am just annihilating the entire screen in like 1-2 seconds.
Moral of the story is that if your Druid feels weak, it is clearly a bug and you need to delete it and start a new one.

The build I've been using is the werewolf storm build. It's really powerful to take all those storm spells and add poison to them. I do also like the Earth build with trample, I use that for most of the end game and campaign.
I don't need convincing... I just need time to play my druid

Honestly speaking I am very likely one of the worst gamers out there. The very first Diablo came out and that is when I started gaming, it was a bond my son and I created. At 60 a lot of how to read gear and synegy escapes me. But I am trying my hand a Druid and this was a great video. Is there a link to the build that I can inspect and apply? If not I get it. Im just messing around with lightning and posion abilites and building around critical strikes/chances. I love this character fantasy + it looks cool(which is the most important)
My Lightning Druid is an absolute cannon, and not made of glass either. The Earth keynote makes lightning/combo insane. I'll upload build soon

Personally I have been avoiding using landslide because I was told that it is for close range but after forcing myself and trying it... Landslide is awesome.
For now I'm playing as Storm Druid because of Spirit issues
I am using lightning storm build infused with a pinch of trample build. I dont rely on procs, it does really good damage so far at t3, I have found a ring that smites down huge lightnings on every lightning crits and when earth skill CD procs, trample adds a burst or shield covers my arse. The only downside for me, I cant use Crow for double buffs. I lack that 5% crit chance. Because I need overpower and lightning damage proc both on snake. Btw, lightning storm proccing landslide is so satisfying...
My biggest issue with Druid is that he is really lacking if you don’t get the legendary aspect you need for your build: shockwave for pulverize, the trample slide aspect, the tempest roar etc. He’s very hear dependant
yeah i have none of those drops yet and its a slog.
Hmm yeah, you can make some nice builds with the codex, but to play what you WANT is dependant on drops.
I would say druid is synergy dependant, more than gear. Usually it's not just stacking damage bonuses, but making one part of your build work with another
Bro if aspects are problem for you then i think you havnt even finish campaign. First finish campaign, get to T4 and then think about serious builds. Campaign can be finished with any noob build.
Every decent druid build needs at least one unique, kinda dumb

I did the same thing you did but ended up on the rogue. The problem with druid is that you need those aspects vefore druid become really useful.

You’ll start getting those leggo and unique drops very soon, I was raining in legos after 50 and especially in t3
Also hang in there it’s so rough but once you get that juicy pulv aspect or werebere unique you really start juicing
Been having a similar experience, but I found that the bolts from lightning storm take terrain like walls into account. If you can force elites up against a wall with cyclone armor or kite a boss to a wall the bolts will group up and make for more consistent single target damage, best of luck to you!
@@herbi6419 I actually got a little lucky and got a ring where tornado targets up to three targets so now I use that build and feel like I'm doing some good stuff now.
Just grab all the lightning passives and fry people with lightning storm. It gets pretty nuts with overcharged aspect and your other standard codices. Bosses ten levels above me melt in 10 seconds
picked druid as first character, quit at lv 45 couldn't stand the dmg i was dealing (0). picked sorc after and had way more fun, now im burned from sorc and wanna try druid again.. wish me luck
