This show isn't receiving the attention it deserves. The casting and the adaptation are both impeccable, it's one of the very few adaptations that did the books justice, and the crew exacted it perfectly.

It's good, it's not that good. You should compare to other series in the same genre, like Outlander. There isnt enough in this series that appeals to guys.
I'm sure it would be extremely popular if available on Netflix, Hulu, HBO, or any other popular platform... I love the actors and I've been very curious to watch it, but I'm just not paying for a new streaming service to watch a single show. :(

I’m pretty sure it was always meant to be three parts if that gives you any peace. So far they’ve done a good job interpreting the books and I have no doubt the final season will be impeccable and complete.
With the leads being older(30’s - 40’s ) , finally there is something in this genre geared towards a more grown up crowd . Makes for a nice change from seeing 16 & 20 yr old Vampires and witches 😄
Yes! Omg. I thought I’m the only one wondering why almost all tv series in this genre casting barely legal teens. Older vampires and witches are wayyyyyy sexier.

I can NOT WAIT for this! Love the books, and I love how they've kept close to the books, while taking liberties like all shows do. But, the main essence of the original content is still there. Wonderful adaptation!
I'm so glad that the whole story will be told... I am also sad to say goodbye to one of the best shows I have watched. The cast has amazing chemistry. For so many intertwining parts, it's been brought to life brilliantly. I've loved every minute of watching this journey unfold.
third novel is the best as well, with Diana having her power and in the right time. second book and the second season was a little out of place being in the past. although some of the dialogue choices in the trailer makes me believe that they have changed quite a lot from the book, at least in the flow of events.
@@Velsetta that's not what i meant. in the book, by the time Diana got back from the past, Emily's death had already settled down, with many of the repercussions having already happened; like Know being kicked out of the congregation. Here, it looks like Knox is still a member. it's Marcus' leadership of the Knights that brings about Knox being kicked off; and it hasn't happened yet in the show when Diana comes, they're essentially taking out a big chunk of Marcus' character growth. still, I can see some ways that won't make a big difference, if it was just this change. but it looks like there are a lot more.

S1 was really great, so much so I was a little let down by S2, but I'm confident S3 will knock it out of the park. Teresa Palmer is an outstanding actress who compliments Matthew Goode. This show has a great cast and great acting'
This show has so much potential!! Very gripping and it just kinda sucks you into that world which is the kinda show I absolutely love. The characters are all in such great roles there’s no one else to fill the shoes of the cast tbh. Give this show a chance and let the story unravel.

Actually there is another book, it is called Time’s Convert and it’s about Marcus. The author is planning to’ release other books in the future but due to historic research the process is very long
Similar to what George R. R. Martin did in GoT? That didn't go very well for the last season (popular opinion, but not mine). Your idea is great especially if it means introducing powerful crones in the future.
For me three seasons are perfect. I can always revisit them whenever I miss the series/characters. Sometimes, having so many seasons the main story end up losing its essence. IMO.
Actually there is a third book called times convert but it’s about feebee & Marcus journey not the main characters, and would not really fit into Discovery if witches series in my opinion! I was hoping with the way book 3 ended that she might write another set a bit in the future about their kids, but who knows maybe she will!

I've got seasons 1 and 2 on my hard drive, I've watched every episode at least twice and there's still things that I did I missed before. Very rich. I'd love to see a four-season but sometimes season 4 runs out of steam or the writers run out of ideas. "Good things come in threes?" Is that how the saying goes? A very special show, not be bing-watched. Content like this is too rare.

I loved the books (read them already 5 times) and this serie. Unfortunatly season 3 was not so good as 1 and 2. These followed the books pretty wel, but season 3 had so mutch changes that it looked a hurry up thing. After episode 2 the producers took to my taste to mutch freedom of chancing the script and didn't follow the book anymore. What shout be the highpoint went out like a candel.
On the 3rd season Teresa and Matthew are the best pairing together and compliment each other so we'll. But this show is so good. I don't want it to end.
It's so rare to find a great book made to really good show that can satisfy every audience. I really can't believe there's season 3 already and there's still people who haven't even heard of the book or the show.

It helped greatly to have the book author as an Executive Producer so they didn't veer off too much.

On the 3rd season Teresa and Matthew are the best pairing together and compliment each other so we'll. But this show is so good. I don't want it to end.
It's so rare to find a great book made to really good show that can satisfy every audience. I really can't believe there's season 3 already and there's still people who haven't even heard of the book or the show.
I have watched the 1st season here on youtube. But the next season they didn't upload it. Where can i watch season 2&3?
Wow! Sorry but season 2 wasnt' great for me...It just didn't have "bite" to it....this season 3, I tell, brings that back! Very excited to see this. And Outlander.

The book series was already amazing on it's own. They have done such a great job with the show, it should be talked about more. I'm so excited.

I love how Satu just assumed Diana is still the untrained witch she threw in a hole. Like, witch, please. Watch when she ties her threads around the your neck, see how untrained she is then
Satu makes a huge mistake when confronting Diana; and is punished for it (though not as much as she deserves) - at least in the book.
