Thnx Kevy, purchased my progress when starting back to WS in 2017, mine is for sale or trade. When one only uses 1.5 for comfort. I get better comfort w/Merkur 3-pc. Got about dozen shaves on it someone should have it that could enjoy it. The best Fred H.

The Murker Progress has been around since 1955. Guess you could call it a “vintage” razor.

Great shave. I tried the Gillette Minora and 365 blades and both worked fine. The Minora worked best for me and the 365 was ok but not the best. I’ll try the Dorco Titan up next. I actually thought of getting the Merkur Progress when I contemplated getting an adjustable, but I decided on the 6C since it was a little less pricey than the Progress. Have a good one!

R41 first pass then 501 Progress set on 3 then 1 for second and final with Feather blade and TOBS pre shave gel. Best shave ever.

Great shave. Nice sounding soap too. My own shave was with my first vintage gillette. Picked one up at a antique shop. A 1956 or 57 tto. Gotta admit, a great shave. Have a great weekend

Hi Kevy hope your well that was a really good shave really nice soap by looks of it and the upside down slash bit odd that eh 👀😁definitely a future purchase in the Den.your post shave with the Bearr Man noticed you had used it previously in other shaves and made in Scotland near Falkirk possibly you might have said before a think 🤔 😂 I managed to get a bottle of it yesterday in Livingston at Almondvale Shopping Centre Outlet you might know the one and been there before.didn’t expect to see it in the Made in Scotland shop again you might know it also.there were a few bottles left 50% off so just under 7quid lady did say they’ve stopped making them now company deceased apparently.anyhow take care of yourself and have a super wknd 🙂👍🏻
